my sister wants to come over and every time she does my dad starts yelling. And we have a small world war 3 in our house. And it pisses me off because my dad just runs his mouth and no one can say anything to him or he'll scream his head off. This holiday season though will be different. I will make it work even though my mom says my Christmas may not happen

I'm glad to hear you live for such conversations, because I rarely get the chance to partake in such. Surely I have friends, and occasionally we get deep and we find powerful insight into our lives.

Like a single ant on my buddy's windshield. We looked upon it as he hit forty miles per hour, leaving a park. I turned to him and questioned how the ant might feel should he be swept off to unknown places. Where would it go, what would it do? It became apparent that the ant is like us as we grow up, we leave the boundaries of our home and find new and strange places.

That ant made us realize just how small the Earth is, ergo us. We are so tiny in comparison with the universe, yet we are so unique in our own ways. That's not all we found out that day, but all of that just from a single ant. It's so amazing. Enigmatic. o::::

But I do have a number of friends who think on a generally simpler level, and I wonder how their thoughts would look if floating around in my head. /strangeanalogy

As a note to the rhetorical question you posed, there have been studies indicating that the subconscious might be more powerful than we think. By this I mean, even our ability to see has implicit channels, and how you describe the way people do things without knowing why is just beautiful for this idea.

It's almost scary how our own unconscious could be just another part of us, fully sentient and operational, that we just can not reach with our own explicit powers. It makes me wonder who I am below this rough shell of clay and water, and what carnal powers might've been cast into the stone of my underlying being. If any. [[-->]]
