Asian Kung-fu Generation

AKG was formed in 1996 by Masafumi Gotoh (Vo,Gtr), Kensuke Kita (Gtr,Vo), Takahiro Yamada (Ba,Vo), and Kiyoshi Ijichi (Dr) while attending Kanto Gakuin University. They signed to Ki/oon Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Japan in 2003. They have released 3 indie EPs, 2 studio EPs, and 7 studio albums, as well as 6 DVDs.
