Favorite Final Fantasy

It's really difficult for me to choose a favorite, but....it would be either FFVIII or FFIX. VIII was my very first FF game so I naturally have a soft spot for it. Besides that, I loved the story, the characters, the locals, the weapons, the sidequests, the graphics, and even the magic junction system after my first play through, when I actually knew what I was doing. IX has awesome character design, awesome characters, wonderful music (one of my two fave FF OSTs), memorable locals, a fun way to customize characters with the crystal eqipment, and of course an excellent story.
