This year will hopefully be the second anime convention that I attend. Unfortunately I didn't have the money to afford my own cosplay outfit, nor did I have the money to attempt to make my own. I was wondering just how hard it is to make your own cosplay outfits and what techniques/websites...

What happens at a convention? I am just curios never been to one, what kind of atmosphere is it, cause I am one of those shy pious types but I would like to try going to one, it's just that I want to know what to expect, like how crowded it might be and all of that.
