  1. Thank you for letting me know! I responded to it. I hope that you are doing well. :]
  2. A PM was shot a while ago. In case it wasn't received.
  3. 2/2 Yeah… I’m not going to even ask you for details, because that sounds pretty personal, and I don’t like to be one that digs up unpleasant memories…or on the offhand, good memories that are painful. But, yeah… There was a definite shift in game play for me.

I hope you are doing well in your studies, and that you are like your classes thus far. I also hope that you were able to afford your books!

Take care, my friend. Have a lovely evening. ^_^

P.S. If you ever wanted expedited responses, we could always e-mail one another. I wouldn’t mind too much, but I don’t want to impose on you at all. I like responding here, it just takes a bit longer for me to respond, if you don’t mind that. If you did want my e-mail, just shoot me a pm. ^-^
  4. 1/2 I know the cold weather is probably dreadful (a lot of people tend to not like it), but I must say, I am a bit jealous. *Laughs* I really like the cold weather, and am a little sad that the lowest it has gotten here so far, with this cold weather front, is 32 or so. Ha-ha! And then alas, it is back up in the high 60s again. Meh. xD The visual of your mustache freezing and your beard being some kind of shield is actually a little funny. Hehheh ^ ^’ I really miss school, to be honest. I do not feel quite like myself without it. So, I can understand your anticipation. How have classes been going? And if it isn’t prying too much, might I ask about these…other things/questions, in your life?

That sounds beautiful. I love viewing stuff like that as an art form. It takes so much (mostly control and discipline) for something to look that fluid, it has to be art.
  5. Tonight the anticipation rises, for tomorrow I spend essentially the day at my college. Morning to evening.

    Let's hope I can afford books. x3
  6. The weather here in Michigan has been bad enough to nearly erase the concept of friction from the very thought of driving. At least these last few days. My mustache seems to freeze quite quickly in this weather, but my beard seems to stand strong- a bulwark against the subzero onslaught. As for how I've been: anxiously anticipating classes returning tomorrow. That and other... Questions in my life.

Iaijutsu is the art of drawing the sword and attacking, from what I understand the idea is being able to draw and strike in one fluid motion.

Hahah, I've almost all but stopped playing mmorpgs after my experiences with my ex years ago. Used to play WoW back then, so I guess I can relate to your shift with games like DnD.

  7. Seriously. I am definitely a night owl, so to speak. xD

Alright, if you say so. ^ ^’ And yeah, I could imagine. I think I would be the opposite, especially since I couldn’t imagine liking loads more than what I already named. If I actually took the time and wanted to list just a few primary things that I know that I enjoy doing as hobbies, I’m sure the list wouldn’t be so extensive. But, then again… I could be wrong. Ha-ha!

(Not a topic change) -> Anyway, how have you been? Anything new? I know it sounds cliché, but how is the weather over there? It’s actually a bit nippy here. *Laughs* Take care! Have a great evening. :]
  8. It’s all based on matter of opinion. Your hobbies sound similar to mine, so I can see how you would say that they really do seem the norm in modern society.

That’s neat that your brother trains iniaijutsu (I’ve actually never heard of this one)/kenjutsu. But I mainly like RPGs, as well. They seem more interesting to me, and I tend to be extremely story-oriented, so it works well for me. I use to play Magic and D&D, but now I just mainly play DDO or RPGs on my game consoles and laptop when I get the chance to. Tabletop games were more something that my ex and I did together, and now I really don’t find an interest in them. Although, as ridiculous as it sounds, I love board games, and absolutely love the game of death, that everyone seems to hate – monopoly. Ha-ha! I love card games, too. ->
  9. You are very welcome. ^ ^’

I suppose so. I would think in modern society today most people just stay inside, go to work, or play video games. At least that seems to be the norm when I take into consideration the people that I talk to, and the people that talk to me. I rarely meet adventurous people, which makes me kind of sad. *Laughs*

That is a very interesting thought! But I consider a lot of “normal” things hobbies, because I am often surprised at how many people actually don’t do them, or at least realize that they are doing them. For example, one of my roommates loathes writing – she won’t even give it a chance to see if she likes it, because she didn’t care for it too much in school. And I love it and consider it a hobby, although, you wouldn’t consider writing a grocery list or to-do list a hobby. *Laughs* ->
  10. Thank you kindly.

Haha, I'm almost embarrassed to compare my list, then again I suppose a lot of what you listed seems like givens when it comes to life in modern society.

Being with friends and family, talking about life, movies and music. Thinking and learning. I suppose I don't think of these as hobbies, but I suppose perceptions differ. I can see how one might make life a hobby, and that is an interesting thought.

But I am an avid nerd myself. Tabletop games like card games and dungeons and dragons, videogames, mostly RPGs. I do have remaining interests from my younger days about weapons and martial arts. My brother trains in iaijutsu\kenjutsu.

I tend to stay up late too when I can. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts, hahah.

You have nothing to apologize about, your avid description of what you enjoy is quite vigorous and decisive. It takes me a moment to contemplate the nature of my activities. I fear my list might be longer should I have my mind squeezed. x3
