Seriously, I love all the animal exhibits haha. They had an exhibit during Valentine's Day (I think all of the month of February) of the love life of animals, and how many of them mate really weirdly! I wanted to go SO badly, but I never got a chance to. Have you checked out Japan Town in the city too? It's small, but I LOVE it there! They used to have anime conventions all the time. ^^

OMG, I've never been to Pier 39! I am about to google that right now! Thanks! Now I really want to go there this summer. Just knowing there are cool animal exhibits is making me like want to go NOW haha
You're right, nothing can ever replace living near a beach. Maybe umm a big lake haha but it ain't the same!

Being near a beach is amazing. I wouldn't trade it for anything! You def should drive to SF more in the summer, because there are so many things to do and the weather is nice!

Monterey Bay is AWESOME. I love the aquarium!! And Pier 39 in SF is super cool too. We also have the Academy of Sciences. It's super awesome there too. Have you ever been? They always have such cool animal exhibits!

OMG you're right! It does get too hot here! I wish I was near a beach. I'm by rivers that people love to freak me out by telling me are full of dead bodies. I hate the heat and the humidity. During the summer, I miss So Cal so much. I must drive to SF more often when it gets too hot here. OMG, I'd love to live in Monterey Bay! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! And the aquarium! OH EM GEE! I can be there all day just watching the sea creatures. I miss living near the ocean -sigh-

I've lived up here all of my life, so I absolutely LOVE it lol. Southern CA is where most of my mom's side of the family lives, so I've been down there countless times too, but I love how beachy and relaxed it is up here lol. It's definitely cooler, and it doesn't get too hot in the summer in SF, but I know Sacramento gets VERY hot in the summer! Do you like the heat? I like living by an ocean because it's always a little breezy and cool. I hate being hot lol.

I didn't walk across the bridge, but I wish I did. Next time I visit SF, I definitely will have to cross it! I don't live too far from there either, so I don't have any excuses either lol Do you like it up here? I'm still trying to get use to it, even after 6 years lol

Oh! I have friends that live in Sacramento. =) And the Golden gate bridge is awesome. Even locals take pictures of it, so don't feel too silly! Haha. Did you walk across it? There are tons of marathons and just regular people walking it every day. I've never done it before, but I definitely want to someday. I have no excuse because I live right by SF! Lol.

I grew up in So Cal then moved to Nor Cal about 6 years ago. I live in Sacramento now. I've only been to San Francisco once. Oh it was beautiful! I had to take a pic at the Golden Gate bridge haha like a tourist!
