Video Game Challenge Thread!

So here's the idea. If you think you're totally unstoppable or you just want a friendly challenge in a game, post it here! Whoever accepts said challenge can send you a message or reply to a post here as well. So don't forget to leave your friend codes/gamertag/PSN ID so we'll know what it is we're doing here. also, if there are any conditions, like "no items, 3 lives" or something, then add that in there too. Feel free to post the results of said matches as well! If all goes well we may have a tournament or something on our hands.
Now....let the chaos BEGIN!

I'm endorsing this thread.

I've been doing some discussing, and should this thread turn out to be successful, I'll move forward with allowing Full scale tournaments. Through which a game will be chosen, match-ups will be created, and the winner will be issued a forum medal. (which I can speak to Ace about installing the medals system for my section).

Definitely something to look forward to! But first, let's see how this thread goes.

But I remember back in 2008 a lot of people arguing about things like this not working here. But nah, I'm really hoping it does. =)

Wait, if that's the case then the defeats some of the purpose of the Gaming Lounge. And people could just send coordinate to have a match via XBL and PSN. That's just silly.

But I'm still going all out for tournaments. I was thinking of a Anime Forum vs. (insert forum here) tournaments. They worked well in the forum I used to go, like we had an SSBB one and a Tekken 6 one.

For SSBB, it was some Brawl community and for Tekken 6 it was some Mortal Kombat forum.

EDIT: Maybe the members can host the tournaments? Then Eric approves them.

Who wants to challenge me in Halo: Reach? I've had a few people (while playing games other than halo actually) say they could wipe the floor with me in Reach, but I always end up winning. My gamertag is BrodyGF if anyone wants to tempt fate ^_^

I probably can't play anyone on Brawl here owing to the lag between the US and the UK

BUT.

If anyone has an xbox and plays Blur, I dare you to try to beat me on it. Standard Skirmish racing (1v1) or Hardcore (Motor Mash with just 2 people is silly) although if you think you can take me in a full online Skirmish server then feel free to try.

I do expert bass and/or vocals. I can't play drums because mine are broken, and I can do expert guitar on some songs...but stuff like Spirit of Radio is a no go D.

Mostly for the reason that it involves people that I don't know in places I don't visit, and it's incredibly difficlut to manage events like that.

If, you mean that said people are going to join -this- forum and participate in -this- thread, then I don't see a problem. If otherwise, then no.

How we did it was, for example back in 2009, my friends from another forum established a Tekken 6 Tournament in another forum they went to..so all they did was make a thread there and the other site with the players info from both sides and done...Since it was PSN, we sent messages to arrange our battles. Pretty much no one joined the opposite forum.

So, by the looks of it to me, this thread isn't receiving enough replies to warrant remaining as a sticky.

Plus, the gamer lounge could be used to do the same thing as this thread, making this one redundant.
