It can be foreign cuisine in a distant land, an adventuresome restaurant foray, or a childhood dare.

I've eaten (and enjoyed!)

Frog legs
Escargots (snails)
Fried alligator tail
Deer spagetti
Okie burros (shredded barbecue beef burritos) (Like, KC masterpiece sauce barbecue)

I wouldn't call it foreign but to me, it was quite foreign. I have had clams/oysters and deer jerky.

Believe it or not, I want to go up to Severance, Colorado, and try some fresh rocky mountain oysters. I really do. Just wanna try them.

Frog legs are quite good, though I only had them once as a kid.

I ate a worm once. Other than that, I have not tried too much out of the ordinary. I have eaten dried squid, but that is pretty much considered normal in the orient.

An iguana-on-a-stick. Got it in Junktown. Was delicious. Kinda reminiscent of Soylent Green for some reason.

@Furore (http://www.animeforum.com/member.php?u=237944): but you're Australian, so those things sound like they're normal eats over there. xD

Ontopic: I can't think of anything particularly weird that I've eaten. The oddest things I have eaten though are:

1) rabbit. Surprisingly I didn't puke. It tastes kinda like pork. o_o
2) black pudding. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_pudding

I know I freaked a few people out in chat mentioning black pudding though, so I suppose someone here should end up cringing. =D

Kangaroo can be bought in supermarkets, it's true. :D
But the others aren't common dishes even if some might be traditional (witchetty grubs certainly are).

Are we talking once, or on a regular basis? I ask cause Digital Dragon thinks it's weird, but I like ham, turkey, and peanut butter sandwiches.
