anybody watching?

Nope. I never watch football.

Last time I tried to watch a match, it was probably the World Cup 2002 finale, and I couldn't bare more than 15 minutes.

Of course not, Dr. Who was on. I'll probably start watching after the initial stages are finished and we get into the quarter finals. I'll probably support France seen as I like the country and their humiliating defeat last time.

Minus the actual watching. I still mock the countries that loose, though. Even though their teams have little to nothing to do with their actual countries.

Enjoying it quite a lot. I've missed two games because they interfered with my sleep at 7 AM, but other than that, I'm avidly following. And also enjoying all the funny parodies done about Green. He'll probably be this season's Zidane.

Yes, I'm watching it but not every match. I may watch it regularly once the quater-finals commences. As for who I support, it's England, Spain and Argentina. The last choice is just to see how much sanity Maradonna may be left with, if they win the world cup.

Ah well there was no football on while the Doctor was on. England have had a really hard time so far, two draws with opponents that they should have been able to beat fairly easily. I think their main mistake is leaving Peter Crouch off untill it is waaay too late, i mean he got them to the semis pretty much single handedly last time.

having said that the USA are a really good team and i hope they do well. As Scotland didn't qualify again i was supporting them in the england game.

England is clearly one of the main disappointment in this tournament so far, and so is Spain. I don't think it would have made much difference if Crouch was playing full time. They just didn't have that kind of game play fit to be called a formidable professional team. England's chances of getting into round of 16 is quite slim now. Really disappointing.

Now I'm rooting for Argentina. They played a pretty good game against South Korea. Nice passing, good teamwork, plenty of goal chances made, and Messi looks absolutely brilliant when he's with the ball. They might actually win this tournament.
