i saw a bunch of great drawings on deviantart, and a friend of mine told me that all of them drew it with wacom on their computer. i'm really interested at getting one for myself. does anyone here have a wacom? if you have then which product are you using and how do you feel about it?

I have a bamboo as well, and I just use it for fun and some light drawing. The intuos line is probably what you saw being used, and that would cost about $230 to $470 depending on the size of the tablet.

okay, so pretty much everyone uses bamboo. is it really the best product for drawing?

Wacom's Bamboo line is aimed at amateurs and home-users. The professional products (Intuos and Cintiq) are so expensive it's a serious investment (around $1000-$1500 for all but the most limited versions), so it's probably not something you'll want to buy as your first drawing graphics tablet.
