Is there a way to save youtube videos to your computer or flash drive? Just wondered if anyone else found a way. I'm guessing youtube doesnt want us to, but thought I'd try.

In the URL of the video you want put kick in front of youtube and load the new url. So it should look like www.kickyoutube.com/randomcode. It'll take you to a site that gives you several options for saving it.

I usually use Youtube Downloader HD (http://www.youtubedownloaderhd.com/download.html)or Speedbit Video Downloader (http://www.speedbit.com/video/) :) With Youtube Downloader HD, just copy and paste the URL into the download bar and you can choose to download it in HD if available(like 720p, or full 1080p as an .avi video). And Speedbit Video Downloader is a toolbar that allows you to automatically download any video that you watch in .flv format :) And if you want to convert a video into another format, (let's say you want just the music of a youtube video, then go from flv--->to mp3) then use Any Video Converter. (http://www.filehippo.com/download_any_video_converter/)

Hope I helped :)

Thank you both soooooo much. Youre amazing! I used kickyoutube to save to my computer and Any DVD Converter to import to windows movie maker. I have to make a 10 minute video for school and I found videos my friends and I liked from youtube but we didn't know how to take clips from them that didn't involve videotaping the screen, lol. THANK YOU!
