After I'm on Deviantart for so long, a window pops up and tells me that my computer is infected with viruses and malware. This isn't from my Defender Pro or Windows Security. This is something from the webpage itself. It then takes me to a My Computer Online scan. I completed it and it said I had like 50 Trojan Horses in my shared documents and an email worm. I cancelled out of it afterwards because I'm doubtful. I never get this on any other websites, only Deviantart. And my Windows Security and Defender Pro haven't picked up on anything.

Any ideas?

You shouldn't have let it finish downloading. That scan was actually a download bar and it put something on your computer. Deviant Art must have been hack and the code spliced in. If you can't pick anything up with your scans you may need to reformat your computer.

Crap. Normally I don't let it download but I get it so much anymore that I thought that Windows Security and Defender Pro were just not working.

Wait, you get that screen regularly? If so it may be you picked something up already and it's causing you to see that randomly.

Yeah, I usually see it about every time I get on to Deviantart. This started in like... February? Normally, I close out of it and continue with life, but today I wanted to see. And it's only on Deviantart. Every other website is fine. Wikipedia, Google, here, Youtube, everywhere. Only Deviantart gives me that.

That is odd, if you have something it's usually every other site is effected too for you. You've tried running your scans, have you tried running them in safe mode?

Scanning now. It's not picking up anything so far. I haven't tried Safe Mode yet. The only issues wrong with my computer are weak passwords and Microsoft Office updates I never do. Defender Pro's acting fine.

Wait, it found a Trojan Clicker.

probably a key logger, meaning once you get it removed change ALL your passwords.

For future reference, exit out of that scan ASAP. It definitely is some fake scan that will ruin your PC. I'll make a suggestion. If you have trojans and stuff like that, then I recommend Trojan Remover (http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/download.html). It's small, fast and does what it says. Good luck with your problem, and if you need any more help, then feel free to ask any forum member with computer experience :)

Nah, malwarebytes is much more efficient and removes just about any trojan, along with adware, spyware ect. Free if you forgo the auto scan. Besides, what she has should be more then enough.

Ah, that sounds cool, especially because it's free lol. TR makes you purchase it after 30 uses. Hmm...I guess you're right.

Yeah, you should always have multiple protection on your computer. I have malwarebytes, symantec endpoint protection and adaware. The last two aren't free and need to be purchased but they're well worth the money.

My best suggestion would be firefox with ad blocker plus and no script. That and a constant scanner like symantec endpoint protection will give you a good defense.

Okay! My Windows Security caught nothing and Defender Pro only found that Trojan Clicker.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, change your password and let us know if you still get that window on deviant art.
