My Brother's Got Bronchitis

Just now I found out my brother was diagnosed with bronchitis for days, and it's due to bad sinus and the lot. I heard people CAN die from bronchitis, so I can only hope and pray he pulls through.

Oh, don't worry about it. As long as he's being treated, then he'll be fine. Just be careful of if he has pre-existing conditions, such as asthma. But it's nothing too bad, just take medication, rest, and drink lots of liquids. Not a lot of people die from bronchitis. Lots of people have had it during their lifetime, including me.

Whatever bronchitis is, it's not as bad as swine flu, which has had 10,000+ deaths. : P

Swine flu had so many deaths because it was very widespread. Bronchitis is quite serious, but as long as it's treated and taken seriously, the survival odds are good.

Bronchitis is bad but there's no need to be that worried over it my sister and my aunt (at 59) have both had it (and in my sister's case a few times) and they're both fine. So long as he's getting proper treatment, rest, and fluid he should be okay :)

Keep a closer watch if he has any pre-existing respiratory issues

I get bronchitis all the time, because I have sinus problems. When I get a cold, a sinus infection/bronchitis always follows.

Antibiotics will kill it, along with a lot of fluids. It also will occasionally clear up on its own, but in my experience that takes a very long time.

I get bronchitis almost every time I get sick and I have asthma but I get through it ever time so it's not that big a deal. Yeah, it makes you feel like hell...but everything is ok if you get medicine for it. ^^ Your brother will be completely fine if he gets treated.

As long as he keeps up with his treatments he should be okay. As Eris said it's a serious but controllable thing.

Bronchitis is moot. Now Swine Flu... is a MIND KILLA!!!
If stupidity could kill, then a lot of gullible people would get contaminated.
