Difference between IPv4 and IPv6

So if anyone could provide a little headway on this, that'd be appreciated...

So I know how to set up subnets and everything in IPv4, but is there any differentiation in subnetting between IPv4 and IPv6? Doesn't seem as though there would be, but you never know...

I appreciate any feedback (unless it's negative; that would kind of damage my day, lol).

Pretty much the most impotent parts of those articles was the address space meaning the amount everyone can use before they're all used up. That was one of the main reasons to even go with IPV6.
