Favorite book genre?

Literary fiction is easily my favorite, what with it's focus on finer writing skills, depth, and character development. I absolutely love anything by Gregory Maguire, Ian McEwan, and Anne Tyler, all of whom write in that style. Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. If I’m not readingthat, it’s a safe bet to say I’m reading philosophy.

Charles Dickens and Bernard Cornwell are two masterfulhistorical fiction authors, and Kierkegaard, Kant, and Keith Ward are among myfavorite in philosophy. There never seems to be enough time to read theirworks, despite the fact that Cornwell and Ward are the only ones still pumpingout books.
