I was just wondering how do you guys like checking your email.
Do you use a mail client or do you just use the web based email they provide for you.

For the longest time I have been checking my gmail through my browser and now I've decided to try using Windows Mail for it.

Gmail. That's the only webmail service I currently use.

I have used Thunderbird before. It is nice quite fully featured just like firefox. Though I wanted to try something new for a while.

I use Evolution. Thunderbird is awesome too, but I like Evolution's integration with my other applications. It's a solid client, so I'm not missing anything by using it. O:

I've never liked thunderbird. I found it rather slow. I use Yahoo all of the time when checking my emails and currently I have over 2,000 stored messages with most of them being unchecked. I mean, who reads of of their emails?

that's why exist spam filters ... and also one of reasons why to have separate mail accounts.

Well that is quite a bit if it's not orinized, though I have way over 2,00 messages to clean up.

I agree for sure, it is always good to have 3 or 4 emails to use for different things.

I use Hot Mail only. I don't like the others.

I use Hotmail almost daily.
I have a Gmail account as well, but I don't use it as often as my Hotmail one.

Gmail For me.
All the way gmail is by far the best email service I've ever used. Mostly because of the vast amount of features and the large amount of storage you get.

I use thunderbird. I have 5-6 email accounts that I actually USE for various reasons, and some of them have stupid policies about forwarding to other e-mail accounts.

I use Gmail to send/receive from 5 different POP3 accounts plus my gmail account. Their full-text email search and labeling system is top-notch. Gmail currently has something like 32,000 emails indexed across all my accounts. Nice central location! Also, Google Labs is win.

I'm a Yahoo guy -- although I used to be a Hotmail guy.

Yahoo for me. Hotmail doesn't have too strong spam filters; I always get spam mails from someone I don't know. It's pretty annoying.

I have a Gmail account for "serious" emails (job seeking, etc.) and a Hotmail account for spam and creating accounts on message boards.

I use gmail. I have one junk address that I register on sites with and use for day-to-day crap and forums and things of that nature, and one "professional" gmail address that I communicate with professors and other important people through.

Though my day-to-day-crap mail fetches the srs-bsns account's emails so that I only check one of them.

I use the respective websites like yahoo, gmail & hotmail to view my e-mails directly. I often use Microsoft Outlook as well.

Browser via computer I'm on or via iPhone's email function.
Both can be very quick, the iPhone in particular can be great while on the go and tracking things via email updates.

I use Gmail on a Mozilla. It's perfect. I love Gmail's search option top search for my emails.

I've been using Hotmail for over five years and still using it, having different accounts for different circumstances. I don't really need a lot of space and I don't get spam too often so it's good enough for me. ^w^

I use Gmail. It's the only e-mail server I use. I used to have hotmail and yahoo, but I like Gmail's features a lot more. Gchat has also been a friend to me. I normally check my e-mail through a computer or cellphone..I never leave my e-mail unattended! It's imperative to keep your e-mail always logged on when you go to college or have a job, especially in a business setting. You'd be surprised at how many cancellations, rescheduling, etc are proposed last minute.
