RPG: School of Doodsfall

"Ahhh the sun is so bright today," Ashley says aloud to herself as she walks through a meadow in the valley that is the school grounds. She stops and looks at the sky having to shield her eyes from the sun using the shadow of her hand as she does so. A cool breeze flows through the valley, causing her skirt to ruffle slightly and the grass and flowers and bend and move with the wind.

Ashley had arrived at the school grounds a week early so that she could get settled into the room that would be her home for the next school year, the school was a boarding school after all. She smiled as she looked towards the road main road that divided the meadow she was in in two, some carriages and vehicles were moving down it. "Looks like more students are arriving... I wonder who my roommate will be, hopefully someone I get along with...." Ashley stops walking for a moment as the memories of the previous year cross her mind and she remembers her previous roommate a cocky senior girl. She and Ashley had always been butting heads, but she was always besting Ashely.

"Ohhhhhh! If I ever see her again I'll be sure to kick her butt!!!" she thinks as the wind shifts blowing her hair into an opposite direction causing parts of it to hit her face. "Ack! Bleh hair is not on my food list..." she laughs as she tucks her hair behind her ears and walks back towards the school.

The school was of an enormous size, it was a group of large buildings some with towers and all connected by halls and path ways with railing over them. There were five main buildings in all and the way it was made if you look at the school from above, if you drew lines to the buildings it makes the shape of an "X" with the main building in the middle. In order from what would be the top right of the "X" and going clockwise the buildings were named: North Wing, East Wing, South Wing, and West Wing, with the building in the center just called Main Hall. Between each building are courtyards with small gardens and fountains in each. Each Wing had different classes and the main building held the cafeteria, some specialized gyms, the medical ward, administration office and other specialty rooms that students weren't usually supposed to go in unless given permission. Finally on opposite sides from the main buildings were the Girls and Boys dorms. Each have four floors and covered pathways leading to where the bathing rooms were. The whole school was made of a dark gray stone and the outer pathways were a very light gray stone and many statues of various things could be found anywhere if you look.

Ashley walked back into the main area of the school just as people were getting out of what ever had brought them there and were grabbing their things. She watched for a moment saddened by the fact that she didn't recognize anyone yet, but happy and excited to see all the new faces.

"Some of these guys don't look like freshmen.... I wonder if they're new transfers..... Maybe I should talk to one of them...." she continued to watch as more students arrived deciding to let them approach her instead.

[Keisai]

Kaze looked around the new school ."Whoa it's huge!" He smiled as he was happy to start over from a new school. the wind blew as he felt his hair fly by him."Let the wind guide you." echoed in his mind."Let's hope i get a good start." he picked up what he had left of his baggage. Kaze looked around to see other people picking up there things, and one girl staring at them all."Huh, i wonder if she already has her things in her room." he shrugged as he shouldered his things.

[Nespa]

The teacher sighed as amantine stood hesitating near the edge of the forest "come on amantine" the girl growled lightly making rather clear she wasent moving until she was ready for moving. She rubbed her forehead, why was she stuck in getting the feral forest girl to school. she rummaged in her bag and held out a cookie while walking backwards "das amantine want a cookie? it's very tasty. amantine smirked and ran at her, pushing her to the ground taking the cookie and ran on the school property to a hight tree. stuffing the cookie in her mouth she climbed it and sat munching on it on a branch, the teacher stomped over clearly rattled by the fact that the had just run over her "that is not very nice amantine" amantine just snickerd and let out a few hight whistles. A small flock of birds flew over the teachers head and pooped causing the female to squeal in disgust.

[Galactic Pretty Boy]

"Well looks like there are a lot of new comers getting ready to lodge in my school!" Alon put on a creepy grin "Well I guess I'll go watch these commoners move in and be taken back by the awe of Doodfall,but of course the true awe is the star student ALON MARCOH!" his smile grew larger as Alon frequently stroked his ego. Alon started walking down from the main hall. He stood at the door looking with his piercing eyes and arrogant smirk. "There's probably going to be a freshman orientation isn't there? Perhaps I'll sit in mainly to pick out a new subordinate to bask in my glorious shine!" Alon got a move on making his way to North Wing. "Hopefully there will be some promising selections." Alon said to himself as he flipped his hair in the sun. "Hmm I"ll most likely be late but no matter I'm Alon Marcoh soon enough this school will be mine and all in it a few demerits won't hurt me bhahahahahaha" Alon chuckled and kept forth.

[Luzifer]

The light cascaded colorfully down upon Shani's kneeling form, as he gently moved the prayer beads over in his fingers. His lips moved, silently tracing his morning prayers across the gilded air. After a time his prayers ceased and he arose sharply and turned on his heel to leave. The shrine was empty as it often was at this time. Morning prayers were long over and midday prayers still yet to begin. He generally came for the morning prayers and then stayed over long. It unnerved the head priest who thought Shani a dangerous presence but could not in good tact turn away a servant of Shizuya, no matter how violent he might be.

Leaving the sepulcher, Shani picked up his sword from in front of the church. His priest had managed to make enough of a bother of himself that Shani acquiesced to his demands to not carry weapons into the pews. It was a compromise that left neither party happy.

Shani turned himself toward his school and made his way there. As he passed, some people recognized him and rightly watched their conduct. Most would rather get caught in a crime by the police than by Shani. At least the police had the courtesy to try people.

Arriving at school, Shani stormed into the main class building. He didn't need nor particularly want subtlety. His monks habit swirled about him like whirlwind as he strode towards his class.

Jace
Jace hummed to himself as he lay back in the carrage taking him to school. Going home to see his parents had been fun, if a bit revealing. The old household hadn't changed at all. But now he was going back to school to get back into his studies. Humming was just the thing to do right now. It was for two reasons. One, he was bored. Very bored. Two, the driver was like an open book right now and as hard as Jace tried he couldn't stop his mind reading right now. The driver was complaining non stop to himself about the ride taking so long and the place being so hard to get to some times. Jace wanted nothing more then to hit him over the back of the head and tell him to shut up, maybe get a shower too, but none of them where going to happen.

Finally arriving Jace jumped out and and grabbed his bags as fast as possible. He was pleased when he suddenly couldn't hear the drivers thoughts, hoping it had stopped and not that he was just being quiet. He thanked him quickly with a wave and then began running to the front gates.
"None stop fun this year. I bet you and I'll wager anything on that." He smiled and talked to himself. "Non stop fun! Non stop fun!" He suddenly began chanting to himself as he tried to hide the fact he had forgotton where everything was. He wondered around chanting and looking confused.

Ryker
As normal Ryker was already by the front gates as the new and old students arrived. He stood leaning against the wall at the front gate. He looked far more relaxed then he was feeling. New people meant a chance that arguments could break out and lead to fights. It was his job to make sure that didn't happen as best he could. It was just his way. The seals in his pocket pulsed with a silent magic. he hoped to not have to use them this morning.
He nodded to those he reconised as they past him by, they nodded back but mainly because he was a senior. He didn't mind. He kept his eyes open and ears alert. The air was filled with new smells and he almost cursed his nose but was too distracted to bother. He scanned the newcomers.
"It's good to see so many different types coming here. I hope this spot can become a good start for bring some trust back to each Race." He thought to himself, "It would be a good thing to see."

Lilith sat back and watched all the new students scurry about, prepping for the new school year. She had already gotten everything she needed out of the way, leaving her nothing but leisure time.

She went back to what she was reading, which was what she had been reading for some time now. She continued to flip through the pages of the Book of Lords, trying to memorize everything needed perfectly create synthetic souls.

She sighed a bit to herself. It was a lot more difficult than what she was accustomed to. She was only successful once, and that was after dozens of failed attempts. Still she was determined. She leaned back and sighed to herself, looking back at all the new students.

"This is going to be a looong year."

Ashley looked around and noticed and overly excited boy chanting something to himself. ". .. ... he has no idea what this school is like if he's chanting non stop fun..." she thought. She sighed and stood up straight moving away form the wall she was leaning against. "Oh well I guess I'll have to find someone I know later...." she mumbled to herself as she started to turn to walk away, but then she stopped and turned back around, and faced the main gate of the school.

"... Is that?" she looked over to see an older looking boy by the main gate also watching the new comers. "The blonde hair, the same smile, the pretty boy eyes, the formal type of clothing.... IT IS!!!!!" Ashley squealed with excitement as she ran up to the boy, faster than most would expect someone to run for a situation like this and tackled him to the ground in a hug.

"Rykeeeeeeer it's been so loooooong! I'm so happy I finally get to see someone I know it's like all of the students I knew in my class have transferred to other schools I was feeling so lonely!!!!" Ashley continues to hug him on the ground for a moment showing more affecting towards her friend than the teachers would consider appropriate, if any were around that is.

Ashley suddenly stopped her happy laughing and jumps up "I I'm sorry! I got to excited!" she apologizes as she holds out a hand to help him up. "How was your summer? Are you looking forawrd to all the new fangirls you'll get this year? Just think the pretty boy SENIOR who doesn't like to fight and usually tried to help people out, you got the corner on babe magnet!!!!" Ashley teases him as she helps him up.

[Nespa]

Two teachers walked past Ryker and Ashly not taking notice of them "i thought that you had her convinced to come to school" the other teacher sighed "i should have known it would not be that easy" but you can't blame her she has not seen a human being for years". They stopped under the tree amantine was sitting in talking to birds and putted her hands on her hips "amantime come down, you promised you would go to school" she jumped from the tree "school weird, very open". Amantine found the school grounds to be strange only here and there was a tree and barely any animals were walking about.The teacher nodded "and thats why you need to make friends just try it please, we need to help preparing the ceremonie for tonight"Amantine shrugged and sat at the base of the tree.

Ryker
Something heavy thuded very quickly straight into Ryker. Caught up in watching for trouble he no time to react to the attacker in anyway. He fumbled for a moment before landing straight on the floor. He cursed silently and the figure squeezed him tight. He was so angry with himself for a moment until the voice that was shouting was suddenly reconisable.

Ashley suddenly stopped her happy laughing and jumps up "I I'm sorry! I got too excited!" she apologizes as she holds out a hand to help him up. "How was your summer? Are you looking forward to all the new fangirls you'll get this year? Just think the pretty boy SENIOR who doesn't like to fight and usually tried to help people out, you got the corner on babe magnet!!!!" Ashley teases him as she helps him up.

Ryker took Ashleys hand as she offered it. As he stood up he brushed himself down a bit. His nice new clothes had dirt across them now and he wasn't exactly in a presentable mood now. The other students would notice this. He didn't want to look bad on first impressions.
"Well Ashley." He said his voice calm, "I don't think that will happen now that you seem to have made your declaration of love." He raised an eyebrow, obviously talking about the attack hug. "I think you will make enemies doing that now." He noticed some mud on his leg pants and using a tissue from his pocket wiped it off best he could. "I'm a Prefect this year. A Head boy if you will. And now thanks to you," He gave her a flat stare, "I look less the part."

He then suddenly smiled and patted her on the head like she was a child. "But it is good to see you again, and I guess what is done is done. I'll hold no grudge." He leaned back in the wall and looked at her, "It seems your still full of energy, which is a good thing...sometimes." He smiled at her, "Have you seen any previous students yet? I'm sure Mr Marcoh is back I think I heard him before." He shook his head at the thought of the savage, "And I'm sure Mr Beleren is back. He is in the same year as you." He looked around, "As for others I haven't seen them yet. Many new faces though. What you think of them?"

Jace
Jace kept spinning around for a bit before stopping knowing it was getting him nowhere. He picked up his bag and glanced around as his world still spun. he giggled slightly.
"Well the bags not too heavy. I guess I can wonder before I find my room."
Jace noticed two teachers standing by a tree and a small, if a bit rough looking, girl sitting at it's base. He couldn't see her too clear from where he was. So Jace sneaked along and poked his head around one of the teachers to get a better look at the girl. She was quite small and had scruffy hair. But if she maybe cleaned up, and smiled, she would look quite pretty.
"A little wild girl!" Jace thought. He side stepped as the teachers moved and he went and sat next to the girl. He just sort of sat there for a moment and didn't say anything. Then after a few minutes turned to her, "So...Is it funner to walk on your hands or your feet? What you think?"

Amantine blinked when there was suddenly a boy (jace) next to her. She growls playfully "running on feet easy, hand and feet more dangerous not wolf ya know". she crawled closer to him and sniffeled at him "you smell like wind, just like birds" she gave him a smile and a sight of teeth dat desperatly needed a dentist "me amatine, who you". the teachers had taken some time to teach her some woords since she was giong to deal with alot more people her age only her ways of using were not 100% but she could make herself more clear than with just whistleing and growling.

Ashley frowns a bit "Sorry I didn't intend on getting you dirty, I guess I owe you a fave for now but....." she stops talking for a moment shes quiet for one, two, three seconds then a light bulb goes off .

"WHAT'DYA MEAN UNDYING LOVE?!?!?!" she yells as she lightly baps him upside the head. "Puhleasssse besides even if people did think I likes you I don't think more competition would stop......" she pauses and leans up to Ryker's ear and whispers in an eerie tone for effect, "The Ryker Love Fan Cluuuuuuuub." she moves away and laughs.

"Besides you know I like to get inside silly peoples heads." she says as she
sets a little bag she has down and reaches in and grabs a water bottle and a cloth. "Ah, first rule of being a merc, erm, girl!" she corrected her mistake, "Always be prepared! The stains are only light ones and this water has been in my bag for a good while now so its warm." she pauses and puts the cloth over the water bottle's opening and gets it damp. Then grabs part of his coat and starts to lightly pat it removing the stains one by one. "Since it's warm it won't affect the threading of the cloth and will dry in a matter of minutes, Mr. Look-the-Part."

"I saw Jace earlier but, ....well you know how he is when he's excited," she smiles as she moves onto another stain. "Almost done," her expressions changed some how, her smile was still there but her eyes seemed to be distanced from then here and now. "Did you hear? ... About the Techno Volkains I mean..... One of their diplomat emissaries went missing on a trip to represent them in the home land of the Vampires, and my resources tell me that......" she stops as she finishes cleaning off the last dirt stain and looks to her right with an agitated expression.

"That eavesdropping freshmen are gonna get hurt if they don't BEAT IT!" she says as she stands up looking at three freshmen girls trying to hide behind a corner, more than likely to admire Ryker but still in hearing distance, they quickly moved on. She had no intention of actually fighting them but they didn't need to know that.

She leans back against the wall of the main gate and crosses her arms looking at the ground, "I'm worried about leaving Mr. and Mrs. Silverstien alone. they live so close to the borders and people inside the borders are going missing to." the worry was apparent in her face for a few moments before she went back to her carefree smile. "Oh yeah I got some tattoos this Summer!" she added trying to change the subject realizing that then and there wasn't the place to talk about serious matters. She shot a death glare at a boy who had also mad a lovers comment.

[Keisai]

Kaze was blandly ignored."Oh well what ever." He said as he walked past the two love birds." He was tired any way he sat down by a tree and started to rest a bit.

Lilith found it hard to concentrate with all the commotion. She let out a deep, annoyed sigh and got up. She looked over to her side and made a motion.

"You can come out."

Clock Bunny, who had been hiding in a bush for reasons unknown, came out and looked around. This would be his first time in school, or around people in general, and found himself a little shy. Lilith always seemed to have a horde of robotics hiding around her for her protection, but they followed orders, coding, none of them could think for themselves. Clock Bunny could. He was special, her masterpiece....sort of. Sadly he lacked a voice...for now. She was trying to fond a way to upgrade him without destroying or hurting him, and she knew she'd find the answer in the book....if she could only have the peace and quiet to read it.

She walked along looking for a quiet place to read while ClockBunny followed, taking in everything that surrounded him

[Light Buster]

As Raphael approached the school grounds of Doodsfall, he took out a small photo of the school and held it up. The picture looked exactly like the school as he looked at the school again and back down at the photo and back.

"We'll, guess this is it. Hopefully I didn't mistake this school with the others."

With his white robe covering him and the hood over his head, Raphael moved into the school and began to notice the many things around him. The buildings, the students, nearly everything. This school was beyond different than he ever imagined. He thought this school would be a run down place but it was greater than he thought it would be. He hoped that this year would be the best for him.

[Luzifer]

The halls of the school were empty... but Shani didn't care. He wasn't concerned overmuch with students and classes. He pushed through the mute corridors until he got to where he was going... the library. The silence of the vast room was crushing, but he walked through its motionless entwines.

He glanced along the shelves searching for something in particular. After sometime he found the book he was looking for. He began to read, occasionally looking up whenever he heard a sound, fearing that his clandestine reconnaissance would be revealed. But no one entered the library. Eventuallly, he decided that he had read enough for this day and slipped the unassuming red-bound book onto the shelf.

Without a second glance he departed from the archives and left the building in his usual unstealthy fashion. It was quite an amusing contrast. Most people would not believe the outspoken young man capable of stealth... but that was what made it so easy. He grinned, busying his mind with reciting the litanies creating a shield of faith around his heart.

Simone walked along the corridors of the school quietly as she worked a chemical equation in her head. "If the mass of an item if is 1.082 kg and the zyronic culosium was added to the mass, that's 1.082 kg times ten raised to the sixteenth power, which would make it..." she lost her train of thought as she turned the corner to the library seeing the young man she knew as Shani, she'd only spoken to him a few times whenever he got into fights and she had to treat his wounds afterwards.

She smiled her light caring smile and walked up following him and catching up to him. "Why hello there, excited for another year to begin?" she asked as she walked beside him with her hands cupped behind her back trying to start some friendly conversation.

Rozari walked up onto the school grounds with tired feet and a heavy heart. She had requested live on campus, seeing as her home was four miles away from it, only to receive two additional bruises on her back from her father. Furthermore, he refused to take her to school on her first day. She thought it would be pleasant to wave good-bye to her father as she walked to her first day at Doodsfall, but he had come home wet the previous night and had not sobered up just yet.

With lunch sack in hand and carrying bag slung across her subtle form, she began to head further onto the campus in search of her friend she recently met in the market. The very pretty mad boy had told her to wait at the front gate for him, but there were already some people standing there, she didn't want them to think she was trying to impose on their conversation. So she quietly walked past them hoping to bump into Xhemail somewhere. Seeing how large and intimidating his campus was, she was doubting it with every step.

Xhemail had risen early for breakfast before the new students began to arrive, realizing that he should have waited for Ari to arrive before he ate. However it was too late to go back for the new arrivals were already coming. He glanced around to search for those vibrant blue eyes and wheat golden hair, but she was no where in sight.

Suddenly, he became distracted by two familiar faces at the front gates. He strolled up to them with grace and a mock-lusty smile upon his face. "Well if it isn't Ashyln and Ryker," he said, bowing with the tip of an invisible hat. He never called Ashley by her real name. Common names he refered to her as were Ashleigh, Ashland, Ashlyra, or even Ashtray. He never had ill-intentions, but Ashtray never seemed like a good choice. "Many new faces yes? Not many that shine really, although I'm sure a little spit will do the trick; blood if you're so inclined. So what is on the sparrow today?"

[Keisai]

Kaze sat up after a while and shouldered his things."I wonder where i get my room." He sighed and decided to head on into the school. it wasn't the best way to start out the school year, but he didn't care. He'd go where ever the wind took him.

[Nephilim]

Ashley's smiled slowly faded as she heard the familiar voice of Xhemail from behind her. "Ah... Ahslyn..." she turned to face him "listen here just cuz you have your own pretty boy fan club doesn't mean you can still go about calling me by other girls names! I'm not fresh meat anymore can't you pick on someone else/" she whined knowing that he meant know harm and deep down that she didn't mean it and he knew it.

"No I'm not a lowly freshman anymore I've become stronger since what's happened over the summer." she pauses as her gaze turns into an obviously fake sinister smile "Call me by another girl's name again and I will cut'chu." she held her face for a moment then started giggling some.

"Seems I still can't threaten you with a straight face. I'd tackle you too but I think I got all of my tackle out on poor Ryker here." she blushes as she rubs the back of her head and giggles slightly again.

"Ahhhh I still remember how the three of us became acquainted. You and I fighting and then Ryker breaking us up stopping both of us..... good times good times." she says as she smiles then she sighs and lets her head drop. "But... the post card I sent Mr. and Mrs. Silverstien, ... well their response when I returned that summer...."

~Flash back

Ashley is being loomed over by an older looking man and woman in casual clothes they're smiling slyly like foxes and Ashley has a look of fear as if she has seen the most horrid thing imaginable.

"Which one are you going to date?! Our lovely Ashley is getting suitors!!! Oh my both are charming why if I were younger and not married!" the older women says.

"I must approve of them personally before they can date you! How old are they?! Which do you like more?! What do they think of the current government?!" the old man says bother adults getting close with each statement.

"Somebody help meeeeee." Ashley thinks to herself as she gets bombarded with more interrogations.

~End Flash back

"Well they bombarded me thinking that I was going to finally get a boyfriend when in all actuality I'm just one of the guys and don't have any girl friends to send post cards of..." she sighed again, "What's worse I can't believe they thought I'd want to date," she pauses to look up at him and her expressions is also a smile of a sly fox. "Well... YOU! A hahaa!" she starts to laugh teasingly

"But I have to say if either of your fan clubs bother me I will hurt someone I've been itching to practice my techniques on a moving opponent. Still, how have you been lil Xhemailkins?" she asks showing genuine care for her friend.

Shani glanced in the direction of a voice addressing him. See who it was he bowed formally and politely, "Good day Simone." he replied his voice firm and aloof. She was as good a person as could be expected and she had patched him up after some... altercations he had gotten mixed up in. Without his permission he might add. He didn't want to be overly mean to her as she had not, to his knowledge, done anything to deserve his more brutal side.

"I am not particularly excited, I just like the peace and quite of the school proper. The environs are filled with noise. I take it that you are. You always seemed the scholastic type, spouting some arcane formula or another."

[kei of the flame]

Alec walked threw the front gate and looked around. "Lots of new faces around here. It kinda makes you wonder out of the young ones who will shine and who will be left behind." He said as he stretched his arms, looking towards the sky. He looked to the side of him to see a person he knew quite well. "Well, if it isn't the Peace Enforcer known as Ryker." A name that Alec normally uses to call Ryker. "I'm guessing you're making your first of the year rounds." He said as he noticed Ashley. "Hey Ashley, how are you." He said as he patted her head. "You've moved up from being a freshman, Just a couple of more years and you'll be one of the top guns here, I can feel it." He then turned to Xhemail. "I won't even try to say your name and get it wrong again, but how was your summer. Did anything that others would regret but you obviously wouldn't" Alec said in a joking manor.

After arriving, Montega grabbed his bags and took notice to the large buildings. "this better be as good as she promised" he said to himself, and started walking towards the school. He started looking around, hoping to see more freshman that were looking as nervous as he was. Avoiding a small group of upper classmen that gathered, walked over to an open area, and decided to just sit down and enjoy the weather for awhile.

"Arcane eh? Hahaha well I suppose you could call it that." Simone chuckled as they turned a corner the walked out from one of the buildings onto one of the covered pathways. "Ah, the sun is setting," she pause her statement to check her watch and then continued, "Not all of the students have arrived yet, but it's time for everyone to head to the main hall for the opening ceremony." She smiled up at him and held her arm out for him to take it in a gentleman-like manor. "Would you mind keeping me company a little while longer than Sir Shani?"

Ashley smiled as Alec greeted her, "why hello Alec." she turned her attention to Xhemail, "See/! He remembers my name!" She stops for a secodns and notices the head pat triggering her napoleon synderom "You'd better move that hand before I bite it off buster I'm not a little kid like I was last year! I'm going to beat you all this year just wait and see what I learned the summer!" she had a look of determination in her eyes as she said it.

She stopped and looks at the school clock tower. The last of the carriages and vehicles were still arriving but it was time to move to the main hall. "Well," she walked forward some and turned around on her heel to face them, "Do you guys wanna hang out at what I'm sure is going to be a snooze fest speech followed by some nice food?" she giggled as she smiled up at all of them. "I'm sure it'll be a great chance to see all the new freshmen! Like that guy over there!" she points to a new person (Montega)nearby and giggles again.

Lilith looked up at the clock tower and sighed to herself. They'd be meeting in the main hall soon enough, but she preferred not to go. She knew she should, being her first year at this school...but she was a junior. She looked around again at all the different students. One who seemed to be on all fours, a few loud ones here and there....she was really starting to regret asking to attend this school. Sure, home schooling got very boring, but it was never obnoxious.

She looked down at CB, who seemed to be trying to hide behind her leg. "The feeling is very mutual...."

She couldnt help but feel a bit out of place. She felt too intelligent, too aristocratic to be mixed in with half of the students that surrounded her.

"Well, at least it'll be easy."

Shani looked at her out of the corner of his eye, noting the offer but not accepting it. "I am a man of the cloth. And though I have been exiled from my monastic brethren I still keep my vows. Among those is celibacy and chaste behavior. So while I can walk with you to this ceremony, your arm shall remain cold and wanting." His tone was harsh and somewhat berating though he didn't try to make it that way. His personality was sand paper by nature.

As Veronica rushed toward the school's entrances, she stopped to catch her breath as she began to get a view of the school's buildings and campus grounds. She was very excited that she was able to get a school here and continue her education.

"I'm here, I'm here! I finally made it to the school! Man, I wonder how many of my friends will be here!"

Veronica's excitement spiked as she smiled happily and entered the school eager to learn everything she needs to know.

Simone gave an ironic smile. "Well that wasn't very polite of you, a simple no thank you or no would have sufficed," she stated still in her same happy voice, she had partially expected him to decline. "Well still..." she wrote something down in a journal she had been carrying as she walked. "If the mass of an item is faltered to be increased by zyronic culosium, then for it to be decreased by the exact same amount it's gotta be.... Oh I'm just no good at thinking today." she closed her journal and looked up at Shani as she walked, "Ever had those days where you keep missing things?" she asked curiously after which she realized that's probably the most personal question she's ever asked him and chuckled at the thought.

"Lord Syora it's time for you to head to the ceremonyyyyy! You're going to be late!" a young secretary whined as she tugged an older looking man who appears to be sleeping by his sleeve. "Come.... ONNNN!!!!" she splutters out between tugs. She lets his sleeve fall and heaves an over exaggerated sigh, "Oh well I guess if you're late to the ceremony you'll miss out on all the food, maybe I won't let you have desert you've been putting on a few pounds lately." she says in a mocking tone.

Syora jumps up out of his seat and smiles cheerily at her "Come now Mine that wouldn't be fun for me, you know I love my deserts!" he gives a big friendly toothy smile which increase the lines and wrinkles on his face, it was apparent he spent most of his life giving this smile.

He patted out his robes of green blue and black colors and smiled his white beard falling just equal to his collar bones "Now we mustn't keep those students waiting, you've really got to start getting me ready on time," he teases the secretary Mine and lets out a hearty laugh. He adorned himself in a pointy overly stereotyped wizards hat and a shawl that matched his robes and set out of the room with Mine at his side.

As they were walking they came up to a girl (Lilith) with what seemed to be a mechanical bunny behind her leg. "Why hello they young miss, heading off to the main hall for the ceremony? Please allow these old bones to be your company. Is this your first year here?" he smiled his toothy smiled and put a warm friendly tone in his voice as he put an arm over the girl's shoulder and started leading her along, chatting his mouth off as he does.

"One of these days that old fool is going to wear me down, I just know it..." Mine thought as she heaved a mental sigh and followed behind them.

Lilith turned to see an older gentleman who appeared to be a figure of authority. She had to admit, she always did admire authoritative figures. She gave hi a very polite smile and went to answer his question, only to be taken completely off guard by him wrapping his arm over her shoulders to escort her along.

CB looked ready to attack, but a simple gesture calmed him down. She cleared her throat a bit and tried to regain her composer. He was odd and -far- too friendly for her taste, but she always respected her elders...at least when they wielded power and authority.

"Yes, this will be my first year attending here in the junior class. I thought Id allow myself to experience school life."

She felt very awkward walking the halls with his arm around her. Perhaps this was normal though? She had lived a very sheltered life, so the ways of the norm were lost on her.

amantine suddenly saw clock bunny and seemed hypnotized. The old lady hermit had taught her to hunt food from a very young age since she was giong blind and would not be able to provide. she crouched and yipped as she ran for the bunny she heard someone yell to stop but did not listen. but just before she could grab clockbunny her foot got stuck in a hole and she tripped, instinctiveley she rolled herself into a ball and hit the legs of lord syora and unrolled. she shook her head and turned getting ready to pounce on clock bunny again.

He could sense the you girls awkward feelings and said reassuringly "Don't worry give it some time and you'll adjust to customs of everyone and also you fit in so there's no need to be on edge. HAHAHA we're all a little odd!" he laughed another haughty laugh.

"Yeah but you're still the weirdest of all Lord Syora" Mine chimed in.


"Oh?" Sayora looks at his legs as he feels a body thump into them, a girl is there and she quickly was getting ready to jump on the little bunny like device he assumed was a creation of the other girl's. "Woah now little one!" he said as he reached out with surprising for and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and held her up like a person would a puppy or kitten when examining them. He chuckled and placed her on her feet and patted her head.

"I've heard about you little one, you're Amatine. Little Amatine why don't you come with us? The opening ceremony starts soon which will be followed by a feast, I'm sure you'll like the taste of freshly made meals as opposed to the taste of cold hard metals." he said looking at her flashing one of his gentle smiles.

Simone and Shani arrive in the main hall where large tables with food and other people are sitting, the extravagant room is full of chatter. "Oh it's quite noisy hahaha. Where shall we sit then Mister Shani?" she asks as she looks from the crowds of the room up to Shani.

Taking in the warm sun, Montega notices that a few people have started to head towards the center building. "The opening ceremony must be beginning soon" he thought to himself. "don't want to be late". He grabbed his bag, and the nervousness he once had turned to excitement to see what was in store for him for his first year. He quickly joined the crowd and was off to the main hall.

Frost walked casually into the school grounds with a scowl on his face, he just wanted to get this year over with and go home. He walked around and looked at the same buildings.
" This is going to be a dull year." Frost said walking toward the main building, " I wonder if anything exciting will happen this year."
Frost thought to himself as the temperature around him started to drop

Xhemail nodded to Alec in acknowledgement. "Ah but what is in a name but a label. Call me what you please. I've grown accustomed to many names. Amongst them is my favorite: She-Male." He said chuckling.

"See! He remembers my name!"

"It is not that it slips my mind but only that I find the name Ashley rather dull. And in response to what you said earlier, the names I call you are not other women. How could any other woman replace the one and only Ashtray?" He paused, then added, "Ashley."

"Do you guys wanna hang out at what I'm sure is going to be a snooze fest speech followed by some nice food?" she giggled as she smiled up at all of them. "I'm sure it'll be a great chance to see all the new freshmen! Like that guy over there!" she points to a new person (Montega)nearby and giggles again.

Suddenly remembering that he was looking for a certain young girl with blue eyes, he huffed. "Oh poppy-cocks. The bird's flown from it's cage again!" (His way of saying he "lost track of my thoughts".) He looked to the trio and bowed with a gentlemanly gesture of his hand. "I must be scadoodling. I've got a mouse to find. Once I do I will find the three of you once again before the grand babbling of the professors." With that, he walked off, a skip in his usually gliding steps.

Rozari's heart raced as she wandered through the mass of people who all towered over her. Clutching the strap of her bag on her chest, she attempted to maneuver through the crowd, muttering "I'm sorry" to everyone she had to push past with a flushed face.

When she thought she had just been able to escape the cluster of people coming through the entrance of the dining hall, she rushed forward to quickly find a seat and blindly bumped into someone. When she looked up, she saw a handsome but intimidating priest-like young man (Shani). His hardened expression made her cower and freeze where she stood. "Uh- I... I'm terribly sorry," she squeaked. Her intense blue eyes swimming with fear.

Ashley waves good bye to Xhemail, despite their quarreling she always enjoyed his company. "Haha she male I think I might call him that. She had a rare moment of maturity and decided to let the Ashtray remark slide, Then she turned around and grabbed Alec and Ryker, linking her arms in theirs, and then walking towards the main hall. "I wonder if I will get a boy friend this year, bleh but all the guy here are freakin prettier than me, I'm so plain." she complained in her thoughts as she walked the wind playing with her hair and ruffling her skirt.

They walked into the main hall and she found places for them to sit near some juniors and seniors they all mutually knew. "How are your families doing?" she asked in a sincere caring tone which sounds odd for her to be speaking in compared to her normal light hearted tones. She sat down and placed her elbows on the table and laced her fingers to rest her chin on them smiling up at her two friends.

Simone noticed Shani nudge slightly and looked to see a girl had bumped into him and looked scarred out of her wits. She smiled slightly and patted the girls head, "Don't worry he's harmless unless you break a law," she tried to reassure the girl. "Are you new? I'm Simone, a technology volkain junior, pleased to meet you." she added in a friendly tone trying to make the girl feel welcome, the girl had the most beautiful blue eyes Simone had seen in a long time

Shani listened to the girl vaguely, nodding at intervals but not really focusing on what she was saying. Most of his attention was devoted to repeating the Psalms of Shizuya from Verse 1:1 to 40:7 from memory in his head.

They entered the dining hall where the ceremony would be held and Shani sternly glanced over the students and teachers that covered the floor from wall to wall. He was on the tallish side so he could see over many of the people there but that didn't give him too much better a sense of what was happening.

His footing was shaken momentarily as someone ran into him but he regained his balance before he fell. Turning to the person he saw a small mouse-like girl quailing in front of him. He'd be lying if he said he didn't get some pleasure out of the sense of fear she exuded. But he knew such a emotion was sinful and mentally castigated himself for feeling such a pleasure and jotted the incident on a mental list of things he would flagellate himself for at a later time. Still, it was good that she was afraid... it meant that she probably wouldn't cause any trouble.

"Law? Meh... I guess that's as fair a guideline as any. Though stray from the bounds of ethical behavior and I shall have to exact a suitable retribution." he crossed his arms assertively trying to regain the authority that Simone had gone out of her way to pull from under him

Veronica continued her exciting tour of the place. She was astonished, intrested, and very happy to see everything about this place.

"Wow, it's better than I expected. Way better. I'm going to have a lot of fun here!"

Veronica had so much excitement that she didn't really pay attention to what was in front of her and ran into a random person in white. Tripping him over along with herself.

Raphael didn't really pay much attention to what was going on behind him but then he suddenly felt something hit him from behind. He was now on the ground, looking at a girl that accidently ran him down to the ground.

"Whoa...Well this is, strange...."

amatine yipped when someone grabbed the back of her shirt and she was lifted. in habbit she pulled in her arms and legs, it was strange noone lifted her like this anymore not even the wolfs they stopped when she simply became to big for that. She looked curious at the male as he spoke and licked at her lips at the thought of food. he reminded her off old lady hermit, she simply nodded and followed lord syora and mine.

Everything happened so fast Ryker found hismelf just nodding along to it all before being dragged away by the arm.
"What the? I stop focusing for one moment and all this goes on?" He thought to himself.
He shook his head but let himself be lead into the hall. As Ashley began to talk Ryker let himself wonder a bit. Talk on families was always tough on him and he didn't really want to go into detail on how things were right now. he quietly and politely, ignored the conversation and focussed on looking around him to spot who he could. The havoc of the opening ceramony would properly lead to some kind of bother.

Jace
"Wow!" Jace muttered, "There goes my convo off chasing random things." He sighed and leaned back against the tree, "Maybe I was too wierd?"
He shook his head, "Nar. There is no such thing as weird. Only interesting." He yawned. He then spotted someone moving about a bit too gracefully (Xhemail) He pondered on wether nor not to follow him.
"Following someone isn't a crime," He thought, "But not following someone who looks interesting is in my books." Jace smiled at his own spun up logic and quickly stepped up and slung his bag over his back. His other new frined would have to be found again later as well. He whistled lightly as he began following the person about five steps behind him. He didn't hide the fact he was following them and he did smile. That and on instint reached out to read the mans' thoughts.

Veronica stood back up and offered a hand to the new stranger she met, seeing that she was at fault this time for here inability to pay attention to the quick event that just happened.

(Veronica) "Sorry, I'm a bit clumpsy when I excited about things like this. Are you okay?"

Raphael accepted the hand and was pulled back on his feet. He had a feeling that this girl was going to be the first friend he'll have this year.

(Rapheal) "Yeah, I'm fine. It's nice to meet you. I see your the energenic one who gets excited pretty easily?"
(Veronica) "Yep."

Veronica smiled at the boy as she replied to his words.

Lord Syora chatted away with the two school girls at his sides and Mine following suit. They entered the main hall and then the room everyone was in though a side door. "Alas I must bid you two good bye for the evening and start this stuffy ceremony. Mine please help these two find a seat." Sayora said as he patted both the girls on the head and then walked onto a slightly raised platform.

"Stuffy eh? Maybe we should shoot some air through your ears and get the 'stuff' out of your head." Mine jested and then she nodded and smiled, "This way girls only staff is allowed on the platform at the moment." Mine held her hand out and found seats for them. "Now you to play nice we're all friends at this school and look out for each other." Mine smiled at the two and then walked onto the platform and stood next to Lord Syora.

"Well it looks like it's starting come we'll find a seat." Simone said as she place her hand on the girls back to lead her off. "You're welcome to join us Shani, even the gods get lonely." she added as she walked away and found seats for the girl.

"Quiet down now..." Syora said, "Settle down... ..... QUIET!" he finally yelled with a boom and tone in his voice that silenced everyone one to a pen dropping silence. "Ah um thank you, now as you all may or may not know we have an extreme swap of students and a large amount of new comers of every class, as a first statement please be sure to show them the kind friendly side and help each other out...." Syora went on what seemed to be a never ending speech about the upcoming year and finally ended with an ever so eloquent "Now let's eat!" and the students started grabbing food and eating as he and Mine got off the raised plat form and he started welcoming back some of the seniors her recognized and talking to any students who approached him, while Mine seemed to be having an inner monologue.

Ashley noticed Ryker's silence when she asked about his family but didn't push it. She smiled at them and said "What did you guys do over the summer anyways? CUZ I KNOW YOU DIDN'T WRITE MEEEEEE!" she added in a fake sob and quickly recovered. "So any girlfriends yet you two? Or maybe you spent summer training? Tell me eating in silence is boring!" she stated as she looked from Ryker to Alec.

Simone smiled at the little girl, "Well lets eat!" she said and then tried striking up some random conversation with the girl with deep blue eyes as she gathered some food hoping to find a subject to make her feel comfortable.

amatine followed simone and eyed the food wearily. she wasent used to baked goods or cooked meat with spiced on it. she sniffed it carefully when she was allowed to eat and found it save enough to eat. she looked at simone and smiled "me amatine, i live in forest" she chewed the bone clear from the meat and suddenly started to scratch behind her ear with her foot "itchy, itchy, itchy" she shook herself a bit and grabbed another piece of meat. on her shoulders some lice and other unidentieft bugs crawled around and fell to the floor, a few students who noticed cleared away a bit.

Frost was in the back of the main hall sitting by himself, he didn't care what the lady said but she finished and everyone started eating. He looked around to find a spot where he could be alone while he ate. Frost spotted person eating like a wild animal and he figured he should get something before she eats it all. He walked over towards the and instantly dropped the temperature in the hall, Frost didn't try to do that but it just happened. He grabbed a piece of meat and noticed some frozen bugs on the floor, he shook his head and walked back to the table and began eating.
" This year's gonna go by slower than usual." Frost said eating a piece of spicy meat.

Lilith tried her -hardest- to keep herself composed. Once she was shown to her seat, she allowed herself to gawk in curiosity and disturbance. What -was- she? This girl was damn near a wild animal that could speak a bit! She soon realized that she spent the entire speak staring at this girl. She sighed to herself and forced herself to eat. It was no where near what she was used to, but it wasnt terrible.

ClockBunny sat in her lap and made sure to keep an eye on the beast-girl. It had intentions of attacking, and he knew this. It had already sent out an alert to the other members of the horde, some of which had silently made posts in various hidden areas. This way, they could move in much quicker to eradicate anything that threatened their master.

Lilith took no notice of this, instead she looked around at all the different students. She eventually let out a sigh and mumbled to herself.

"A very long year indeed."

How is it like to be such a stout? Stout ryhmes with sprout. Wouldn't it be lovely if she could sprout wings? What an odd word sprout is indeed! Were only a few of the endless ramblings going through Xhemail's mind- the mind which has been said to have been mad since birth.

Although distracted, Xhemail was no less alert than usual. He stopped in his tracks with a 'clack clack' of his steel-plated heels and turned on the balls of his feet to look at the boy walking behind him. The pink-haired student did not seem angry though. He almost seemed pleased that someone was following him. He flashed a friendly smile at the boy with the hat and offered a black-gloved hand.

"Good morrow, young Hatter. How do you do?"

Raphael just realized that there was supposed to be a ceremony for the first day of school. He quickly let this stranger know.

(Raphael) "Just realized it. We have to go to the ceremonies. We're gonna be late!"
(Veronica) "Oh, that's right. Don't worry, we'll be there in a jiffy."

They both began to run toward the center building hopefully it's the right place.

(Raphael) "By the way, didn't catch you name. My name is Raphael."
(Veronica) "Name's Veronica Sanderson. It's nice to meet you."

Aamira had just finished placing her belongings in her room when she peered out of the window briefly, only to notice a few of the remaining students, whom were still outside, heading toward the building in the center of the school’s campus.

Sighing to herself, she averted her eyes from the window and walked toward the door of her room, knowing that she was probably already late for the ceremony.

She may not have been a Freshman, but being a transfer student, she had planned on going to the so-called ceremony, just in case some type of “important” information was touched on, even if only briefly.

Grabbing nothing on her way out, Aamira left her room, and slowly, but surely, found herself moseying over to the center building – Main Hall. She had studied and memorized the school map well.

Upon arriving at the designated area, in which the piece of paper that she had read earlier said the ceremony would be taking place, Aamira reached out and grabbed the handle of the door, taking in its massive size.

It was a great door. Not really old looking, but it had some history behind it, or so it had seemed. It was made from a deep cherry-colored oak, and had designs beautifully etched into its grand surface, swirling and curving about to add to the beauty of it. And it was merely being held into place by what looked like four wonderfully polished hinges. But the door would no more be grand, than Aamira would stay content within herself, for long.

‘Come on Aamira. It is just a damned door. Just walk in, sit at a table, listen to what the head master has to say, and then leave. Simple.’

Taking a deep breath, she was about to do just that, but that was before she noticed something, and upon noticing this, her eyes grew large with worry.

‘Oh no! This can’t be happening again. Not here. Not now of all times!’ She thought.

From where Aamira’s hand was placed on the doorknob, a darker color seemed to come from where her fingers were firmly gripped around the handle, slowly spreading over the handle, and eventually, to the door itself.

Instantly, Aamira released the handle and took a step back, watching as the door had begun to age, gradually decaying in some places – eating away at itself as if it were nothing but a mere cloud, slowly passing over an empty sky without a care in the world; as if it were meant to be that way.

Noticing that it just may go unnoticed, Aamira almost sighed in relief until she realized that her “skill” was still in use, reaping its mellow havoc against the door, and deliberately working its way toward the hinges.

This is when Aamira started to severely freak out mentally.

As the hinges began to leisurely rust, and turn a dull color with age, Aamira tried to hold onto the door handle to try to keep it up, knowing that the hinges would eventually give way to the heavy door in their old veneer.

This, of course, did not work all too well.

Evidently, the door started making creaking sounds, and before Aamira could do anything, regardless of putting her full body weight on holding the door closer to her, it began falling away from her.

Next thing she knew, the door was out of her grasp, and it was just inching toward the floor on the other side. Although, she did scramble for the handle once more before giving up on it, it coming off of the door in her grasp whilst doing so causing the inevitability of the “giving up” to be just, or so she thought.

The door hit the floor, and a rather large cloud of dust seemed to have consumed the air around her, and she coughed once, shielding her face from it with the crook of her elbow, closing her eyes as she did so.

Once the dust from the decrepit door cleared, Aamira stood there for a few seconds before gaining enough courage to open one of her eyes to observe the damage.

Upon taking in the site, and the few hundred eyes staring back at her, she blew a few strands of stray hair from her face before blushing slightly. Righting herself, she decided to force herself to walk over to a table where she decided to sit – alone.

Letting some of her hair fall into her face to shield her eyes from whoever might still have been looking, she rested her head on one of her hands to shield her face more, yet make it look more casual. Resting her other arm, stretched out in front of her on the table, she blew another strand of her out of her face before sighing again.

“Apparently, that is something that I am going to have to work on a little more.” She whispered to herself.

Shani followed, not finding it worth his while to leave. There really wasn't anywhere to go. He sat down at the table and continued his usual habit of repeating Psalms to himself in his head. He sat down and half-listened to the "speech" that was given. He sat with his back rod-straight and his hand neatly folded in his lap, as impeccable as one could ask of a monk during a Vigil service.

After the speech was over his body didn't relax but his attention turned to the decadence in front of him. So much food... wasted on spoiled brats and overfed narcissists. He sighed so much injustice. He didn't eat any of it. Crossing his arms and sustaining himself with his own self-righteousness.

Ryker
Ryker looked back to Ashley as she talked to him.
"Was this girl only obessed with relationships?" He thought, "I think I remember her being slightly quieter. Maybe I was wrong?" he smiled at himself.
"No Ashley I haven't got a girlfriend" Ryker pushed his food aside, not feeling much like eating. "So don't worry, you still have a chance." He teased at her, "But I'm sorry to say I stopped here over the summer to practice and learn. My extra lessions take up a lot of time." He paused, "I have to get everything right if I'm to get the grades I need."

He raised an eyebrow, "But what about you. I hope you haven't spent all summer chacing after boys? Or chasing away girls from those you do like." He enjoyed teasing her, "Or have you recently taking up a new sport. Maybe one involving tackling your opponents?"

Jace
"I think it would be great. Wings would be the coolest thing in the world to have." Jace replied to the boy. His hung his mouth open and tried to word something. He buzzed through random things with no meaning. One day he would have to get around to organizing his thoughts. "But isn't stout wrong?" He suddenly said, "Shouldn't it something else?" Jace suddenly closed his mouth. He realised that the boy hadn't been muttering but thinking. Instinct was once again against him. He smiled,
"Sorry about that I got a little carried away. My mind floated...kinda towards yours." Suddenly his face lit up with a dazzling smile, "Your quite an interesting person though. I bet if i hung with you I'd have all kinds of fun." He grabbed the boys' hand with both of his and shook it hard, "I'm Jace. Who are you? Xhemail!" Jace looked shocked again, "Oh I'm sorry I did it again." He smiled,
"Oh please don't get angry." He thought.

Ashley looked at Ryker and said "Hey hey hey! .... Calm down now, just cuz you're one of the many pretty boys here doesn't mean I want you, AND magic rugby is a fun sport you should try it sometime." she laughed a little then sighed.

"But no.... I spent most of my summer training as well, if I wasn't training I was working Mr. Silverstien was injured in an accident over the summer and couldn't work so I decided to help pitch in and do odd jobs for the towns people..... but ..... ever since the odd things have been happening along the border towns everyone's been on edge, and it's such a peaceful village no one there knows a thing about fighting except for this little ten year old brat who insists on hitting my head with a wooden sword any chance he can get hahaha. He reminds me of Kaito......" she hadn't meant to say the last part and didn't realize she had. While she didn't hide her past from others there were some things she didn't tell on a day to day basis.

She quickly changed back to her cheery self and smiled an ironic smile, "Still have a chance? I think even if you did like me I couldn't handle all of your fan club, besides little Miss Ashley is much too plain for the eloquent extravagant Mr. Ryker!" she said the last part in a fake hoity toity voice. Then a loud crashing happened as the door to the main hall fell. There was another awkward silence which she proceeded to break.

"HAHAHA SOMEONE BROKE THE DOOR ALREADY!!!!" she yelled and then the students laughed. Despite how it may have seemed to some, those who know her knew she was getting the attention that was focused on the girl who broke the door off her. After the laughter everyone went about their own business again. "That door always gets broken a few times a year it seems." she added as she turned back to the table. "Bleh I eat one thing and I feel heavier that can't be good for my self esteem." she stated.

"Hm.... oh yeah I got a new skill, it's like a signature skill for me now, I can't wait to show it to you in gym class! Better watch out I may kick your butt this year." she winked casually at Ryker and instantly felt a cold chill go down her spine as some Ryker fan girl's shot her icy death glares. "Scary..."

Simone looked over at Shani, "Glad to see you joined us, and I still see you don't like eating this food, I would say you're very picky but that isn't the case, You could at least eat some bread though, I don't want to have to be treating you next week for malnutrition hahaha" Simone said, she laughed a little bit, her sense of humor was odd like a mixture of every kind of sense of humor with her own essence into it.

Syora walked over to the girl that had caused the door to erode and fall. "Don't worry about it my dear, this school takes a fair amount of damaged every year, it's too be expected after all people come here to learn to control and wield their powers, everyone has slip ups." he said comforting her.

"Yes! These damages are nothing compared to a fight we had last year, plus the fairies are already fixing it!" Mine chimed in as she looked at the door which was being lifted by seemingly nothing. The door and its hinges were mending and regenerating till it seemed as though nothing had happened.

"They are so useful for cleaning up and fixing things it's worth what they charge!" she stated.

Lilith didnt seem to notice the door slamming on the ground...or rather, she didnt seem to care very much. Eventually she finished forcing the meal down her throat. She took the time to observe her new peers.

She felt a tinge on annoyance at the girl who decided to shout, and the laughter that ensued. Still, she had to admire a -tad- the fact that she did so to take some of the embarrassment off the girl who caused the door to break....or to humiliate her, either way, there was a tad of admiration there.

Frost looked at the girl that had broke the door and continued to eat, it happened a few times before so he didn't worry about it that much. He looked directly at her when she sat down and he knew what she was going through. The embarrassment when you can't control your powers and they get out of control, he knew what it was like to feel that way.
" That girl will be able to control her powers soon enough." Frost said finishing his meal, " I guess it's time for me to leave."
He got up from the table and walked out of the hall through the opening the girl had made, he looked up at the sky and walked towards his favorite spot to train.

Rozari barely had time to speak before she was ushered to a seat. She sat down obediently and kept her head bowed. She was afraid to even look up at the one called 'Shani', even though she was reassured by Miss Simone, as she introduced herself. Feeling rude by being quiet, she muttered a soft "Thank you" when the older girl sat down.

The loud thump made by the door caused Rozari to jumped. Although she knew it wasn't possible, all she could think of was her fathering coming in to drag her home and beat her for his own pleasure. School was her only sanctuary because he father never dared interrupt her education since she would be the one taking care of him in the future.

Mentally chastising herself for her ridiculous paranoia, she turned her head slightly to see a girl being helped up by what looked like teachers. Relieved that no one was hurt, and further more it was not her father, she turned back to look at the abundant amount of food on the table before her. She cooked only enough for her father and herself at home so it was a sight to behold for her. Though, she didn't eat much either way since later her father would only kick her around until she regurgitated her dinner. But because she was at school and not at home, she timidly reached for a sweet-bun and nibbled on it, thanking the gods for her food in her mind before the first bite.

Simone nodded to the girl as she said thank you and then noted when the girl jumped from the door falling. While Simone had grown used to the sound she imagined it was probably startiling for the girl. "You've still yet to give me your name hun, if you don't give me one soon I'm going to end up calling you Girlie and that wouldn't be very nice to hear after a while." Simone said with a slight chuckle afterwards. "After this how about I help you get comfortable with the school hun? I'll even take you to the girls bathing area and we can have some girl to girl chatting." Simone added with a smile trying to appeal to the girls feminine side to see if that would get her talking.

OOC: Okay, kind of here. So where's all the action? My bad if I'm asking the question at the wrong time. Oh, and sometimes you'll see weird posts like this one. This is due to a broken JavaScript on my home computer. I'm going to get a personal computer over the weekend to resolve this.

As Raphael and Veronica entered the building with their baggage and managed to the central building and the place was filled with people, eager to learn. But at the moment, it was filled with people chowing down on their food. As Veronica gave out a sad face, Raphael placed his right hand over his face in disgrace.

(Raphael) "What a idiot I am."
(Veronica) "Aww, we were beaten to the punch."

They immedietly noticed a group of people were having some sort of conversation. They looked at each other and began to find a seat near the area, hoping to see what was going down.

Xhemail slightly tilted his head to the side and smiled at the interesting young lad. He was absolutely enthralled, but as usual, he masked his excitement. "Indeed! A mind-reader are you? Positively spectacular! Spectacular! Spectacular sounds oddly like peculiar don't you think Jace the Hatter? Perhaps the two are one in the same? I for one believe anyone who can be deemed peculiar are usually rather spectacular aren't they? Unless you think you are not peculiar, then that indeed makes you even more so." He laughs.

"But yes, stout would be the incorrect term I presume although I rather like the word stout for the one I am in search of. Like the stout of a tea kettle, she is always giving but is never given to. Come let's take our seats and have some fancy grubberies." He said as he guided Jace to where Ashley, Ryker, and Alec were sitting.

Then came the loud noise from the door crashing. Oblivious, Xhemail took his seat beside Ashley, pulling out a chair for Jace in the process. "Hm, quite loud in here isn't it?" He said more to himself than anyone else. When Ashley suddenly yelled her statement, Xhemail cringed at the sudden outburst of laughter that erupted from the other students. After everything died down again he simply placed a napkin in his lap then spoke to himself again, "They're all mad."

Rozari looked up at Simone, slightly surprised that the young woman was so interested in helping out a little fledgling such as herself. "Um... M-my name is Rozari... but you can call me Ari," she said, lowering the bread from her lips. "A-and that would be nice... uh- but you really don't have to go through that trouble... Miss Simone." She added quickly.

"Ah! Shemale! Glad you could join us, and I see you have the loud mouth with you too!" Ashely greeted them both with a friendly smile, jokes were her way of showing who her friends were.

"Now the team is together again!" Ashley added with a smile.

Simone smiled down at Ari, "What a cute name, and it's okay I don't mind Ari. Also like I said earlier, there's no need to be on edge, we're all friends here, even Big Ole Shani over there." she stated as she impersonated Shani's posture and face trying to cheer the girl up more, hoping that Shani could pick up on that.

"And you don't have to call me Miss, I'm not that old yet." she added happily as she sipped some of her drink.

Frost made it to a lone tree that stood out from the others, it was cool to the touch because he had trained here for a couple years. He touched the tree and smiled thinking of how hard he trained his powers and his swordsmanship skills to get to where he is now.
" Its been two years since then." Frost said sitting down on the base of the tree, " I wonder what I'll do after leaving here?"
He closed his eyes and began dreaming of his future away from the others in the school.

"I'm so sure that true." Ryker noted with sarcasim to what Ashley said about herself, "You really think your too plain?" He smiled and mockingly winked at her, "If thats how you view things I think I might have fun making you the most hated enemy of my apparent fan club." He make some mocking movements to her but to those 'Fans' watching from afar they may have taken them as something else. He wasn't going to lose to to Ashley.

He smiled when he watched her help the poor girl who managed to knock down the door by shouting out and destracting people. Ashley was still a good girl at heart. He might have to watch how hated he made her. He smiled at himself and he sighed slightly as he watched the girl who broke the door when she went to sit on her own.
"Hey Ashley how about you work some of that 'Magic' of yours and help out that new lass?" He leaned close and whispered into her ear, "Oh but be careful there seems to be some baleful eyes staring at you now. But I'll except your offer of a challenge." He grinned as he leaned back, "Yes I'll see you soon. Just us two alone though." He said loud enough to be heared a by a few near. He then smiled, satified that he has teased her enough and set her name faithfully into the hate books of each fan girl.

Jace
Jace listened with interest and focus. The guys thought patterns were a mess. Jace couldn't help but smile though because it meant he was different and also it meant he was fun to be around. Thoughts with no pattern couldn't be read easy and it put Jaces mind a rest. After the reason he was here was to learn that. He smiled as Xhemail continued to blab a bit. He smile faded though as he dragged into the hall.
"Wait. No wait!" He began to panic. He pushed back a little and tried to say something but it was a moment too late.

The walls of the hall loamed around him and at once it all flooded in. His head suddenly pounded with the voices around him. He cringed and gripped his head tight to summon the focus to shut it off. Jace staggered, it felt like his head was going to burst.
"I wonder what we..."
"How dare she sit next to him."
"What a silly person."
"Damn this food is nice."
"Hey is that..."
The voices pounded in from all sides with no stopping. As soon as Xhemail had let go of him to get him a seat he ran, well more staggered like a drunk, quickly to the now door-less exit. He kept moving, supporting his body against the wall, until he was sure he couldn't hear anymore. He leaned slumped against the wall panting. He struggled to get his breath back. He tried to smile to himself. Ever since he had been to this school. No. Ever since he learned mind reading, he couldn't be in groups of people without preparing himself first. Sometime even that didn't work, as he just couldn't shut the power off. But that was why he was here to learn. Learn so he could control it better.
He let himself slide down the wall and sit on the floor. His breathing returned to normal and he smiled again.
"I guess I'll never be able to be in that hall when everyone is there. At least this year I'm not being sent to the nurse." He said to himself. Remembering his first year here and entering the hall only to collapse from the stain it put on him. He focussed himself and reached into his own mind like he was taught and began 'locking' up. It made him feel duller and weaker. It seemed to steal some of his senses and make the world less interesting, but he found he was no longer reaching out to others minds so he would live with it. He sighed and just sort of rested in the corridor.
"Another time." He thought in reference to the meal.

As Raphael and Veronica took a seat near one of the tables, the began to have a private conversation to themselves. They were, friends after all.

(Raphael) "So, Veronica, what kind of person are you?"
(Veronica) "Hehe, it's a secret silly."
(Raphael) "Well, I am pretty good at uncovering secrets. But of course, that is disrespectful and I only do so once I have a connection between a certain person."
(Veronica) "I'm guessing that you're someone different from the others?"
(Raphael) "You can say that."
(Veronica) "So what do you do for a living?"
(Raphael) "I'm supposely a messenger to the people."
(Veronica) "Really, that's must be cool!"
(Raphael) "And a lot of work..."
(Veronica) "Really?"
(Raphael) "Yeah, I have to go place to place, not only that I have to go to a location to deliver something in a certain time, which is a pain."
(Veronica) "I see, maybe I'll tell you about myself if I think about it."
(Raphael) "I appreciate it."

amatine suddenly stopped eating and dropped the bone on her plate. She sniffed the air and closed her eyes. she sensed someone being very scared and a couple of people being very to extreme anger. She growled lightly at that causing some of the students to back away. she dropped to the floor and crawlbed between legs and table and chairs until she came by rozari. she crouched and looked at the female "you smell of fear and beer" cocking her head to one side she scratched behind her ear again "who made you scared, me bite him or her" she growled lightly to put power to her woords. amatine was used to smelling fear, the young pups of the wolves often smelled of fear when they met something they did not know.

Aamira looked up when the strange old man approached her at the end of the table in which she had chosen to sit at earlier in her haste.

“Don’t worry about it my dear, this school takes a fair amount of damage every year, it’s too be expected after all people come here to learn to control and wield their powers, everyone has slip ups.” He said comforting her.

Then a woman had approached her as well, standing next to the man in her approach.

Aamira flicked her eyes from the woman, to the old man, and then to the door where she caught sight of a few students leaving, or whom she assumed to be students, and indeed, the “fairies” that were busying themselves with the mess that she had created, mending things gingerly, yet quickly.

She soon averted her eyes back to the man and woman before her.

“They are so useful for cleaning up and fixing things it’s worth what they charge!”

Quite frankly, this woman scared Aamira.

She was seemingly over-exuberant, and she was not too sure whether to think she might have once been a cheerleader-type in her former career, a soccer mom, or just someone who needed to have a break from her job, apparently, involving said old man.

She could have had a little too much to drink as well, but Aamira doubted that.

Taking that into account, she brushed it from her shoulders as if it were never even thought about in the first place.

After taking a few moments of her time, observing things and taking in the situation, Aamira sighed.

She figured that the man standing in front of her must have been the head master since she did not see many others that looked…as if they could have fit the job title better than he, and that the woman must be an assistant of sorts since she had followed him over to her – things like that did not happen very often at random.

Also, Aamira had assumed that since people were leaving, or eating food, and that who she assumed to be the head master of the school was standing right in front of her, that she had missed the ceremony, and grand speech of familiar rules, and redundant routines.

Sighing again, Aamira pushed the food that she hadn’t touched away from her, and stood from her seat.

“Thank you for your words of solace and console.” She said nonchalantly, turning slightly from them. “But it seems as if I have missed what I might have considered important, so since I have no other business being here currently, I will take my leave.”

Then Aamira started to walk away from them, but she stopped herself briefly.

“Again, thank you.” She uttered under her breath before taking her leave.

Pushing passed the small fairies and large door, Aamira started to leave the room that she had entered, almost hesitating to stop, and kick the door just for the sole purpose of seeing it fall again, rendering the fairies magical work, useless.

Once outside, she took a deep breath, enjoying the silent atmosphere that befell her, before taking another step forward, and heading off into the direction of her room.

"Ehh...." Simone let out a slightly uneasy breathe as she saw Amatine under the table. "Uh, you know, you shouldn't crawl around under the table... it's impolite to the ladies of the table, come sit up here." she said in a friendly but stern voice. She wasn't angry she just always took a motherly type of roll when people did little things like that.

"You can join us after dinner for a walk around the school and a bath as well if you want if you do." she bribed the girl jokingly then she turned her gaze to Ari. "Just let me know when you're ready Ari and we can go, I'm in no rush though so please take your time." she smiled at Ari and then pulled some glasses of an odd blue tint out and a white pen and seemed to be writing on the table. Nothing was showing up on the table but if you new what the device was all you had to do was look at the lenses on the glasses to see words appearing. It was a special type of invention, a tablet of sorts, called a cyber journal. It was good for writing on the go and jotting down I dead and other things of the sorts, so perfect for Simone.

Ashley looked at Ryker a little testily, she knew what he was doing and wasn't sure if she wanted to play his game ...... "Ah what the heck!" she thought.

She smiled up at Ryker as he leaned back and spoke so the fan girls near by could hear. She was happy he said that for she was ready for it, "Ok, the fountain in the courtyard between North and East wings, in two hours." she responded loud enough for the girls to hear.

"She started to get up and as she did she moved closer to him and whispered "I am going to win this little game, and you'd better be there." she shot an icy smug smile at the fan girls who glared in return trying to burn lasers into her skull with their stares. She turned her smile into a piercing glare and they all broke their stares instantly.

She got up and hugged Xhemail, Alec and Ryker from behind, Ryker's hug being a little longer than the other two's, she did it on purpose to tease the fan club. Then smiled and said, "I'm gonna go talk to the new girl seems we have something in common since we both broke the door on our first day of our first year here hahaha!" she left with a happy cheery feeling to her walk and followed suit of the girl. "Hi, I'm Ashley, I hope you didn't mind my little shout out earlier, just I know how it feels to be in that exact situation, thought I might get those burning eyes off you ya know?" she said as she caught up with the girl.

Syora walks around talking to the students and comes up to Ryker, Alec, and Xhemail. "Ah my three top seniors! How are you all?" he asks as he stands behind them.

"I'm going to go calculate the payment for fixing that door, sir." she said in a monotone voice and walked off and passed the fairies who had almost finished fixing and renewing the door. Students were stating to leave now, some to go to their rooms, some to go to spar in the gym, others off to wonder the school in search of their rooms, others to take baths or just hang out, there were so many places to go and things to do on the school grounds everyone had something they wanted to do.

Frost woke up feeling a bit odd, he couldn't move his arms and he realized that he accidentally froze them over. He sighed as the ice melted away releasing his hands. He got up and decided to walk back to his room, he always thought of new ways to try to amplify his abilities. While walking back, he bumped into a girl(Amira) accident.
" I'm sorry about that." Frost said with a little embarrassment, " Aren't you the one who broke the door in the main hall?"

[Light Buster]

Raphael and Veronica took note of a student acting in a strange way. She was on the ground, acting like some sort of dog, or something. Although they wanted to know what was going on with this particular student, they didn't want to get involved in some way, just to be safe. Veronica began to lean on Raphael and get his attention again after a little conflict.

(Veronica) "So, what race are you exactly?"
(Raphael) "You really need to know?"
(Veronica) "Not really, but I like to be a close friend to you."
(Raphael) "I see..."

Shani stared dagger's at Simone but didn't reply, staying relatively quiet with his arms crossed. There really wasn't much for him to say, nothing that would make a difference anyway. So he decided to just stay silent.

Things happened around him, but Shani didn't particularly care and just sort of observed. If he noticed something immoral he would make a statement but until such time as direct intervention in the lives of mortals was necessary he would rather just stay out of it. Besides, anything he did would just make Simone happy and he hated her. Annoying guttersnipe.

Amatime looked at simone quistionly, this place really had odd people she hopped on the bench but remained crouched "lady? whats is lady" she scratched herself behind the ear again "and me took bath this morning in river, mother wolf wished me to be clean" technicly the eldery wolf had more or less dragged at her clothing to the river and pushed her in. but taking a dip in the river was also a bath for her. she lightly gnawed at some parasite on her arm.

Simone looked down at the girl for a moment with a bland expression. Then she pointed at herself and then to Ari, "We're ladies, a lady is a word for a girl with manners." she stated trying to explain it to Amatine.

She moved her gaze back to Shani, she didn't know what he thought of her but she found him interesting enough that she was always trying to get him to open up one way or another. Then she sighed and looked back to Ari, "It seems you've acquired some new odd friends already." she jested.

Aamira walked along, peacefully, lost in thoughts of her home-city.

In all honesty, after being at Doodsfall for some time now, and just starting school, she could say that upon thinking of such things, she really did not miss her old life, not at all.

Sure, there were things worth remembering, and she did miss that – the familiar, but other than the intimate familiarity, she did not miss it in the slightest.

And here she thought that missing the old and welcoming the new would be the hardest part. But, she had come to realize that the only thing that bothered her, was trying to get to know everything, and everyone, all over again – something that she never had to do before.

Suddenly, she tensed slightly, and she shortly noticed that she was not walking any more. But why?

“Hi, I’m Ashley, I hope you didn’t mind my little shout out earlier, just I know how it feels to be in that exact situation, thought I might get those burning eyes off you ya know?”

At first, since it was apparently unexpected, Aamira jumped a bit when the girl had come up to her, but then she started laughing.

Turning to the girl, she smiled some.

“God, you scared me there for a second.” She said, after it clearly being obvious.

‘That explains why I tensed for a moment.’ She thought, taking a mental note of the action.

“Oh? Umm…” Aamira placed her eyes elsewhere for a millisecond, avoiding eye contact briefly. “To be honest, I really did not notice. I was too caught up in my thoughts to pay attention after the door fell.” She grinned slightly after that.

“Thank you, though. Hehheh?”

‘Great… This isn’t going too well, I think.’ She thought, before another thought crossed her mind.

“Oh!” She held her hand out to the other girl then. “My name is Aamira, nice to meet you Ashley.”

Lilith eventually got up from her seat and left, book in hand and CB following. She decided to head over to the library, a place where she could study in peace and quiet.

She wondered around a bit, searching for the library when she realized she was very, very lost.

"Well, isnt this terrific?"

She wished she had taken the time to learn the layout of the school...or at least taken the time to upload it into CB.

Ashley smiled at the girl and went to shake her hand after wards she let out a mental sigh of relief happy the girls powers didn't kick in while she was shaking her hand.

"Well nice to meet ya." Ashely said with a friend smile on her face, just then Amaria bumped into Frost, Ashley had been acquainted with him from her previous year. "Hello there Frost." she greeted him after he apologized for bumping into Amaria. "I take it you're alone huh? You need to talk to people bub," she said sarcastically to Frost.

"Oh, hey Amaria, what's your room number?" Ashley asked, she suddenly had gotten a hunch that with the way the schools housing system was that she might haven been paired up with Amaria for a room.

Frost smiled weakly at Ashley and chuckled at her sarcastic comment, he knew Ashley since last year and she knew how he felt.
" Ashley, you know how I am and you're one of the few people who I can barely trust." Frost said sarcastically, " I was just thinking that I might as well be friendly....I lied."
He looked over at the girl who name was Aamira and looked at her with a serious face.
" Your powers are very dangerous Aamira." Frost said with a cold stare in his eyes, " Since I should be friendly, I'll help you out. Are you a freshman sophmore or junior?"

(OOC: On a side note, I just wanted to point out that I am not quite sure that anybody actually got to see how Aamira broke the door exactly. Between the dust flying around, and her shielding herself from any “damage,” I do not think anybody would have caught on to her skill quite yet, unless they were a mind reader or something. But meh, it is a distinct possibility that somebody could have seen it happen, so I do not mind really. I just figured to say something about it.)

“Your powers are very dangerous Aamira.” Frost said with a cold stare in his eyes, “since I should be friendly, I’ll help you out. Are you a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior?”

Turning to Ashley, Aamira took a deep breath before beginning, “I am in room number 207,” then she turned to Frost, meeting his eyes with hers as she spoke, “How are my skills dangerous? I appreciate the offer, but I am not sure exactly if I need the help, really. I know how to control my skills; I have just had a lot more on my mind lately compared to the usual amount, so I lost sight of it for a few seconds.”

Then, thinking that one of them actually might have seen her use her skill, she grinned, and then held her hand out to Frost, like she had to Ashley only a few moments before.

“I am a Senior.” She waited for him to take her hand for a proper and polite form of greeting a new-comer. “My name is Aamira, “-she continued, “-nice to meet you…Frost was it?”

She was being sarcastic of course. But, that was the idea, wasn’t it?

" So you're a senior? Strange how I haven't seen you around last year until now." Frost said extending his hand, " My name is Rei but everyone calls me Frost. That's the exact reason why I said your powers are dangerous, if you can't control your mind then your abilities will take you over."
He wasn't too sure about Aamira's power so he kept his hand at a temperature cold enough to prevent anything from happening to him. He looked at Ashley and shook his head with disappointment.
" We haven't sparred in a while Ashley." Frost said with a grin, " You won't beat me like last time, but before that happens I need to get settled in."
He began walking back to his room but stopped in front of Ashley.
" I hope you've gotten better than the last time." he said putting his hand on her shoulder, " I'll see you around Ashley and Aamira."
He walked back to his room thinking of how Ashley had disgraced him when they fought last year.

Shani sighed, "Don't make such rash statements. I'm only your friend as long as you stay out of trouble. "he turned toward the girl, appearing to grow in height, looming even with his slim body and dirtied habit. "As long as you don't go doing immoral things, we won't have any problems. And if you and me don't have problems everyone wins."

"Anyway it was good meeting you." he stood up and bowed politely, "I have to return to my church to get things ready for the night service."

“So, you’re a senior? Strange how I haven’t seen you around last year until now.” Frost said extending his hand. “My name is Rei, but everyone calls me frost. That’s the exact reason why I said your powers are dangerous, if you can’t control your mind, then your abilities will take you over.”

“Yes,” Aamira said again, amusement glinting in her eyes as she answered hi question, “-and no, you wouldn’t have. I transferred here this year.” She continued, clearing things up for him as she still held out her hand.

He wasn’t too sure about Aamira’s power, so he kept his hands at a temperature cold enough to prevent anything from happening to him. He looked at Ashley and shook his head in disappointment.

“And about my skills, everyone slips up every now and then, and yes, that is, and can be dangerous. That is why I am working on such things. But, at the same time, for a skill like mine, I have control over it.” After saying this, “Frost” seemed to proceed with his interaction with Ashley.

“We haven’t sparred in a while, Ashley.” Frost said with a grin, “You won’t beat me like last time, but before that happens I need to get settled in.” He began walking back to his room, but stopped in front of Ashley.

“I hope you’ve gotten better than the last time.” He said, putting his hand on her shoulder, “I’ll see you around Ashley and Aamira.”

amatine looked at simone skepticly "you girl not lady what that may be"She looked at ashly and yawned and she left the forest for this?A another girl passed by and looked at simone and amatine. She crossed her arms and took on a snobby attitude "simone if your a real lady than you shoulden't coversate with that" amatine turned and looked at the girl growling lightly "i mean look at her, she is covert in parasites, she can barely one make clear sentence and she does not even walk straight" the girl putted her hands on her hips "they should keep her in the stable with the other animals instead of with us" she smirked as amatine just growled.

Ashley smiled and listened as Aamaria and Frost had a short conversation, it was nice to know that there were other people in the school who reached out to people. She had grown tired of the loners and 'tough guys' last year, that's how she met Frost after all.

They had been rivals since the moment they met constantly sparring and arguing further inspiring the one to beat the other and improve, but still it was a healthy friendship none the less.

As Frost put his hand on Ashley she snapped back from her reminiscing and had a chill go down her spine, he didn't have to use his powers to do that to her, she had fought him so many times and knew all too well what he was capable of that it just happened sometimes. She smiled at his comment about her getting better, "You have no idea, bye now." she said with her usual smile.

She turned towards Aamaria and thought for a moment, "You said 207? Then I was right that's the same room as me. Ashley smiled and started walking off, "Come one I'll show you where it is." she said.

Simone kept writing into the air as the girl was trying to chastise her for who she was in the present company of. "If I remember correctly all beings start out moving on their hands and knees with imperfect posture, and before you try to knock someone's posture maybe you should get that hunch out of your back when you sit down to eat.... that is, unless you like looking like the pig you are." Simone added as she looked up at the girl though her glasses.

She had a smile but her eyes but her eyes were extremely cold and harsh. "Besides a respectable lady and a respectable person knows better than to pass judgment on someone under first impressions, not matter how good or bad they are, because people are not always as they seem." she finished her little tongue lashing then stood up and smiled down at Amatine and Ari and said, "Well I'm sorry but we'll have to take a rain check on our plans, I have to go help the doctor with his research now, but if you two need help finding anything just ask one of the students or the headmaster, none of them are quite so imbecilic as this one here." she added with another warm smile as she referred to the girl she had just finished talking to.

"Oh and good night Shani, have fun at .... church." she didn't really know how to bid a farewell to him most of the time, then she walked out and to the laboratory they was the doctor and her's private study, where she did research until she feel asleep.

"Well it is getting to be about that time, sorry we couldn't talk longer all of you, I'll be heading out now to do some business which I'm sure includes pestering Mine!" he said as he started to laugh one of his famous laughs. Then he walked away to do just that.

"Ah here were are, now just remember second floor east most corner and you should have no issue finding it on your own," Ashley stated as she used a key to open the door to their room. "Your key is on your bed," she added as she walked in, the room was like all the others for the most part, medium brown hard wood floor, a light beige rug between two beds place on either side of the room against the walls which had shelves mounted on them, a seemingly glass door with matching beige curtains, that leads to a small balcony. A closet on either side of the room. The left side of the room was slightly different, Ashley had put her own bed clothing she had brought from her home on the bed and hidden away the ones that were provided, she had some books a few candles, a skull which would make people unsure if it's real or fake, and a few pictures on the two shelves above her bed.

"Hope you don't mind I took the left side, I had gotten used to it since the person I roomed with last year took the right," she stated as she walked over to her closet and grabbed what seemed to be some pajama clothes, they were black with red and while skull designs on the pants and a single skull design on the top, and a towel. "Well I'll be off to the baths then I'm going to bed, I had made plans to meet up with someone in a little while just before lights out, but I think I'll leave him hanging as some pay back, ha I doubt he'll even show." she laughed as she walked out of the room and did just that coming back a little while later and crawled into bed and went to sleep.

Lilith decided to give up her search for the library when she found stairs to the second floor.

"Might as well settle in my room instead...."

She flipped through the pages of her book of he slip of paper with her room number scribbled on it.

"Room 208..."

She headed up stairs and found her room. She sighed with relief that she didnt have any difficulties finding it. She went inside and found her belongings were already there, waiting for her. She opted to unpack later, she was too tired to be bothered with it tonight. She looked around the room and noticed another bed to the right of the room, but was uncertain if she would be having a roommate or not. If she did, they were late getting to bed.

Lilith decided to take the time alone to shower up and change. She tied up her long white hair so it wouldnt bother her and she slept, crawled into bed and fell asleep

amatine snickerd as the girl stood with her mouth wide open in shock. two female teachers suddenly stood near her "lets go amatine, we got a surprise for you" amatine smiled at ari and followed them. 15 minutes later a rather heavey shrieking rang through the school. Two male teachers held her in the bathtub as the females were atempting to get her free from parasite "are you sure the headmaster aproves of this?" one of the males grunted as he shifted his weight to hold her better. one of the females picked off another fat tick "we need to get her clean before the other students have lice to, do you wanna check al these kids?" amatine let out another shriek "stop screaming the animals arent coming to help you". The second female teacher scrubbed her hair "we putted a barier around the bathroom to keep them from coming, your allowed to sleep in the stables after this" after half a hour she was clean and dryed and both the male and female teachers had some bite marks en scratches on them. seeing that the girl diden't trust them at al anymore they allowed another teacher to come and bring her to the stables. after the man left she choose a strawbed between some rabbits who almost imidiatly cuddled up to her she looked at one "i hate bathtime" she yawned and fell asleep.

Xhemail was somewhat dumbfounded by Jace's sudden escape, but he did not follow. He knew he would see the boy sometime later. Eating his food, he ignored just about everything that was happening around him. As usual, he became lost within his own mind, imagining and talking to his conscience, all the while eating with prince-like mannerisms.

Though, after a while he didn't realize he had stopped eating. Nor did he realize that Ashley had up and left; nor the professor stopping by and evidently calling him a senior when indeed he was a still junior; the tiny blue box wrapped with a golden ribbon left beside his plate while he was in his daze.

Coming to, he looked down at the small gift. It was probably from one of those girls who would ogle at him from afar but were too afraid to approach him. The ones Ashley likes to call his "fan club." He glared at the gift. The ever glistening blue-green eyes suddenly held a flame of hatred behind them. Suddenly, he became conscious of his ire and quickly resumed his serene gaze. He genteelly took up the small gift and shook it beside his ear. The dull thuds sounded something along the lines of a sort of candy. Laughing witlessly, he swiftly stood without notice and glided out of the dining hall to go see who his new roommate might be this year.

Rozari did not speak. She was afraid to. The animal-like girl scared her even though she seemed harmless. The lady Simone spoke a good deal and she was afraid she would interrupt her if she said anything. Then the boy Shani didn't seem to like her... or anyone else for that matter. She thought it would be best if she didn't say anything to anger him.

Rozari was comforted the fact that Simone was so kind but even as each person left at a time, all Rozari would do was smile weakly and wave. She really hated herself for being so pathetic. She wouldn't be able to make any friends but Xhemail this way. Why wasn't she afraid when she met him? He self-proclaimed them friends and she didn't even question it.

Either way, she knew she wouldn't be able to find Xhemail today. It was getting late and she had quite the walk home. Slipping away quietly, she made her way out of the dining hall, then out of the school, then on the road home. It was a hectic day. Tomorrow will be better, she hoped.

Frost made it back to his room and sighed, he put away his sword handle and laid on his bed. He thought about how he would beat Ashley the next time they meet and he thought about Aamira.
" I guess it pays to have a slow year." Frost said with a grin, " I might as well think of what to do next year."

"Unbelieveable..." Roandy said to himself, his reddish hair was being pushed back by the wind as he stands just outside the door of Doodsfall. "It's amazing, how this school is large.." The school was indeed large, for it towered in many stories, more than Roandy can imagine. Roandy lets out a sigh and says, "I know there would be some people stronger than me, but I won't give up. I know I will never give up." Roandy opens the door. The school was completely gigantic, Roandy didn't know where to go, he thought quietly to himself,

“Well, I’ll be off to the baths, and then I’m going to bed. I had made plans to meet up with someone in a little while just before lights out, but, I think I’ll leave him hanging as some pay back, ha I doubt he’ll even show.” She laughed as she walked out of the room.

Aamira silently thanked Ashley after she left, although the thought of her going through the trouble to help her and make her feel comfortable here, after Aamira had already been to her room, memorized the school map, and had gotten her key, made her smile; it was a kind gesture, and said a lot about Ashley’s personality. Or, at least she thought so.

Aamira tried lying down on her bed to maybe get some shut eye before the next day, but all that resulted in was her staring up at her ceiling and her mind running consistently at a million miles an hour, non-stop – this was beginning to drive her absolutely mad.

Deciding to move, and sit on the side of her bed, after not even an hour, she looked at the clock, and took in the time.

‘I guess a walk would not hurt.’ She sighed then. ‘If not, at least it would give me a chance to help clear my mind a bit.’

Looking away from the clock, and out the window, Aamira was decided.

Getting up, she quietly walked toward her room door, as into not to wake up Ashley. Checking to see whether or not her room key was still in her stocking, upon the confirmation of said process, she opened the door, and left the room, closing it quietly after stepping out.

Walking down the long corridors of the building, Aamira finally reached level one, and then eventually made it outside of the building.

Sighing with relief, she stopped walking for a little bit and looked up at the sky – taking in the atmosphere around her, and the beauty of the evening; any doubts that she once had about the school, faltering, and falling from her completely.

The night tended to do this sort of thing to Aamira – the quiet, subtle, stillness of it all.

Taking a few steps forward, Aamira began to walk around campus then, just enjoying the evening while she was out, as the cool breeze splashed itself against her body from time to time.

‘This…' She began to think to herself, '-this is definitely something I could see myself getting use to.’

Then she sighed to herself I contentment, as she continued on her evening stroll.

Ashley awoke the next morning with a loud thud on the floor as the alarm clock went off. "Ahhhhhh it's so early," she whined as she stood up and dusted herself off. She walked into her closet and grabbed her usual casual clothes and changed in the room and then opened the door to the room and looks at two envelopes posted on it, she grabs them one was addressed to her and the other was to Aamaria. She recognized them, they had done the same thing last year, it was their schedules. She placed Aamaria's on her bed and opened her own.

She had physics first, this school was like any other school it taught required school courses but mixed it in with ways to train them as well. She smiled and walked out of the room and to the courtyard, they had an hour before classes began so she decided to just sit and take in the scenery of the courtyard garden. She sat down under a tree and looked up at the sky and started to lose herself in her thoughts.

Simone woke up and rubbed her head, the doctor had put a blanket on her over the night, she got up and went to her room to prepare for the day.

It was already one day in Doodsfall and Roandy couldn't get anything straightened out. The morning began. "Just great." Roandy moaned, if there's anything he hates, it's the morning. He needed someone to help him find a room and fast. Roandy urgently runs looking for somebody, until he bumps into someone. Roandy falls next to a girl who looks like she hasn't slept in ages. Roandy stood up, concerned about the girl he just bumped into. "Oh god, I'm sorry about that, are you okay?" Roandy asks, but before the girl could answer, he extended his hand out to her and said, "Lemme help you up."

amatine yawned as a rooster made it clear it was morning. she blinked for a moment and pulled the rabbit she held tighter to her "me stil sleepy.." her eyes fell closed again. A elderly wolf made it's over the ground, she stood still for a moment when she saw ashly and wagged her tail. She wandert into one of the stable's and suddenl shriek was heard from it "mooom! the elderly wolf pushed amatine outside the stable and into the sunlight and barked at her "your here to learn remember that means no sleeping into the day". amatine turned around and sat down and barked and whined back "yea but it's is stil early everyone is probely still sleeping" the elderly wolf raised a brow and whacked her with her paw causing amatine to whine "no buts we agreed to this and you wil keep yourself to it..and why are you smelling like flowers?" amatine rubbed her head "it was horrible those teacher told me they had a surprised and putted me in a big bucket". The elderly wolf sighed "we you did have alot of parasites.." amatine whined "awwww mom not you toooooo" a few early students looked oddly as amatine spoke with the wolf which only sounded like barking and whining to them.

Raphael woke up to the morning light and stood half way up. He scratched his black hair as he opened his brown eyes to gaze into the morning sky. He stood up and went to the bathroom to get ready for class.

Veronica quickly got up on her feet and began streching her body in prepreation for the day. She was very excited that she has classes today and couldn't wait to see her teachers for this year. She then went into the bathroom to wash up.

After walking around for a few hours (more than she had anticipated to), Aamira decided, due to the early morning approaching, it might be best to go back to her room and try to get an hour or two of sleep, if even.

She got distracted with some things along the way, taking in everything that the school had to offer before she made it back to her room – by then, the sun had long sense been out.

Rushing to her room, in a brisk walk, Aamira stopped in front of her door on the second floor of the building. She checked her stalking for her key, all too happy once she found it there, and let herself in.

Opening her door in haste, Aamira looked around her room and found no signs of Ashley, well, no signs of her but one – an envelope placed neatly upon her bed.

‘Hmm… She must have gone to class already…’ Aamira thought to herself upon picking up the unopened envelope and examining it a little, looking up to do the same with her room as well.

Deciding to open it, Aamira soon found out that her schedule was what happened to be concealed within the now-non-confined border of the envelope. After reading it, briefly scanning each line, she caught sight of her first course, written in bold letters with its time, place, brief description, room number, professor, and the works.

She gasped before looking out the window, noticing students moseying their way to class.

“Oh no! I am late! Again!!”

Aamira grabbed her bag, and threw the abused envelope inside of it before heading toward the door, schedule in hand; not even examining her appearance in any fashion of a mirror before she left.

Running out from the building that she had been in, Aamira started in the direction of the building in which her first class resided. But, upon looking up from memorizing her schedule, and the locations of her classes, she instantly fell backwards, and landed on her bum, not knowing what could have happened to cause such a hard fall.

“Ooooo That most definitely did not feel very good.” She said as she rubbed her bum a bit.

Aamira then proceeded looked up, noticing a boy straight across from her.

“Oh my god. I am so sorry! Are you okay?”

“Oh god, I’m sorry about that, are you okay?”

The way that the two of them almost said exactly the same thing, at the same exact time, made Aamira grin a bit.

Before Aamira could ask her next question, the boy was extending one of his hands toward her.

“Lemme help you up.” He said.

Aamira smiled and took his hand in compliance.

“Yes, I am all right. Thank you for asking.” She responded to his former question, before brushing herself off, starting with her skirt.

Looking up again, she met his eyes with hers before continuing, “How about you? Are you okay?” She asked before extending her hand out toward him again.

“My name is Aamira. How about yours?”

“Yes, I have not really heard of anybody dieing from running into somebody else. Although, I believe it may be possible…depending on the situation.”

Her laughter turned to another smile after she introduced herself.

Roandy shook her hand, happy that she wasn’t mad at him. “Aamira, ey? I’m Roandy… Roandy Zorrilla. I’m new here, do I pretty much don’t know where the heck I’m going. Er… do you know where 9th grade homeroom is?” Roandy asks her, scratching his head with his sharp claw from his Blood Arm.

Aamira stared at the boy for a brief second, as she thought over his question.

“Hmm… Well… As far as I am concerned, there isn’t a 9th grade homeroom. We all just get classes according to the school system…” Aamira said picking up a leaf on the ground before holding it between her thumb and index finger, causing it to turn slightly brown with age and decay; throwing it nonchalantly to the side when she was finished, “-and…our skills.”

She looked at the boy further, amusement trickling across her features as she grinned again.

“So… I would recommend seeing the Headmaster for your room number, and then I believe your schedule will either be given to you by him personally, due to your tardiness, or, in or around your room somewhere. Mine was on my bed when I returned this morning, so I believe that my room mate had found our schedules ahead of time.”

‘Speaking of tardiness, you have somewhere to be.’

Mentally groaning at herself, she told herself to be quiet before continuing with the intriguing young man in front of her.

“I am sorry if I did not answer your questions thoroughly. This is my first year here as well, so I am trying to learn everything as you are. But… I already have pretty much everything memorized…I try to do so to avoid being late, and to try alternate routes around campus in case something happens, and things of that nature.”

‘Wait a minute… I am already late to class… He is new, and needs help… Maybe I can…’

“I can take you to the Headmaster if need be. Then I can show you to your room as well if you need further assistance.” She responded without hesitation.

“I mean it is the least that I can do. I know how confusing first days can be.”

Frost woke up hating that today was the first day, he sighed and a cold chill swept through his room. He got up, got dressed, and headed out of the room and on to his class.
" I don't really feel like going to class today but I guess I'll go anyway." Frost said with a grin, " Who knows, I might end up enjoying today."
He made it to his classroom that was on his schedule and quietly took a seat.

Shani awoke the next day to the chill of pre-dawn and the stone floor. The priest was already awake, his body not in the bed of the small room the two shared in the vestry of the church. There were some volunteers that helped out some of the more important church functions but the vast majority of the day to day runnings of the church were handled by the two of them. The Father Lylum was glad to have the help, before Shani's arrival he had to try and manage on his own.

Shani got up methodically and without complaint. By the time the priest knocked on the door to tell him the news Shani was already in array, his monk's habit dirty since he had not found time to wash the thing but better than his midnight escapades might imply.

Father Lylum opened the door, "Shani... that vandal struck again."

"What?!" Shani seethed, "When I come grasp my hands around his throat..."

"Peace, my son, let the militia deal with him... just clean the mess up before you head to class. We'll need to call the stone mason... the wretch unset one of the statues in the front garden."

Shani stormed out but did as his senior told him.

For sometime now a vandal had been profaning the church, writing graffiti on the walls and unsettling statues. Hr had struck a number of churches and shrines of differing gods in the district but had thus far eluded capture.

Shani exited the church looking at the angel statuary that now lay on its side in the garden before turning to the wall. The message this time was, "False God." Nothing original but fairly common for the crook. At first the incidents had caused a riot, one which Shani himself took some blame for abetting. Initially each church thought one of the others responsible and the tense peace between the factions was nearly broken. However, over time the vandal proved to be an equal opportunity offender and some of the tension dissipated.

The fact the words "false god" had been etched on each of these churches had been questioned by some. Was the vandal some sort of atheist? A heretic? Only one person knew for sure... the vandal. And Shani knew that person wasn't going to just talk.

After cleaning the paint off the church wall, Shani headed directly to school... he had to skip breakfast because of cleaning but he had had, for him, a decent dinner of bread, tomatoes and water so he couldn't complain. The local vendors were very generous to the church.

He strode defiantly up to the school. He groaned to himself a bit, realizing he had nowhere to go except to the front office. The same thing happened every year. Because he lived in the church his schedule arrived late and he had to go to the front office on the first day. He headed there quickly not wanting to make this last too much longer

Aamira smiled at the gesture, taking it in. And here she was beginning to think that chivalry was dead.

But, they were already at admissions? Strange; she must have gotten lost in her thoughts again. Aamira shrugged, disregarding it from her mind.

“Thank you, sir.” She responded, joking right back. “For someone who says that they are new, you sure pick up your whereabouts quick enough.”

She laughed as she walked into the Front Office, holding the door open for Roandy as well, like he had done for her in the first place – making the situation a bit comical from an outsiders view. Either that or a bit annoying, but either way, Aamira was enjoying herself.

Aamira walked up to the front desk and rang the bell, something that she had always loved to do at her old school to draw attention to herself. In this case though, that was anything but what she wanted. Helping someone was the only thing on her agenda for now, well, that and going to the class in which she was already decades late for, soon after.

“Excuse me, but I have a new student here. His name is Roandy Zorrilla," She broke off from there to look at him, making eye contact with him to confirm his name before continuing, "-and he needs his schedule. I have no problem helping him out with whatever else he may need, but every little bit counts.” She began, motioning toward the boy who was currently with her.

“So, besides retrieving the schedule for him, is there anything else that we might need to do to get him more acquainted with the school?” She asked, the woman at the front desk, recognizing her from the evening before.

‘I most definitely cannot forget her.’Aamira thought, remembering how she decided that being “afraid” of the woman was a good thing.

But, was she actually afraid of her?

She was probably nice, and Aamira took that into consideration, but she took her job into account as well -- the Headmaster probably kept her pretty busy with his eccentric personality..

The class was boring and he brushed through the problems easily. Finally the class was over and just as quietly he came in, he left the same way. He sighed and moved on to his next class hoping to see Ashley to challenge her to a fight

Awakening to a familiar sound, Lilith looked over to see ClockBunny acting as her alarm clock once again. She indicated for him to stop all the little noises he was making as she prepped herself for her first say in school.

She tied her up in the usual pigtails, accompanied by the two large skull ornaments she always wore. She washed up, got dressed and left her room. She didnt bother to take notice if anyone slept in the other bed in the room, she didnt much care this early in the morning.

As she headed to her first class she made sure to take note of the different locations of everything she felt she'd need to know. Eventually she arrived to class with a few extra minutes to spare

Alec made his way down the hallway after a good night of rest. "Time to begin the first day of my last year." H said as he turned a corner. "I'm glad I took those summer classes. I have enough required classes to graduate, so I'll spend my last year of school in classes I actually like." Alec pulled out his schedule and looked it over. He smiled because he was able to get into every class he asked for. " I love being a Senior." He said as he made his way to his first class.

Mine looked up from her paper work to see Aamaria and another student, she listened to Aamaria's story and then smiled. "Ah okay, let's see here...." she turned and opened a file and started rummaging through it looking through some files and then pulled out one. "Roandy Zorilla, here we are, this is your schedule hun," she stated with a smile as she handed a piece of paper to him.

"And if you're having trouble with finding your way around the school here's a map of the layout and here's your room number and room key," Mine stated as she handed him some more papers. "Also if you lose any of those just return here for replacements or ask an elder student for assistance, now get to class you two, and thank you for helping him out Aamaria," she added and smiled at both of them then went back to her paper work.

Ashley had made it to her third class of the day out of four, gym. Gym class was where students sparred and actually used their skills, as well as did normal gym activities. She walked in and saw Frost from across the gym. She walked up behind him and slapped him gently on the back, "Hey you! Looking forward to getting beat up by me this year?" she joked.

"Ah okay, let's see here...." she turned and opened a file and started rummaging through it looking through some files and then pulled out one. "Roandy Zorilla, here we are, this is your schedule hun," she stated with a smile as she handed a piece of paper to him.

‘Umm… Bye, I guess…?’ Aamira thought, waving back to Roandy.

“See you soon, possibly.” She said, before turning back to Mine as Roandy had left.

“I was wondering… What are your school’s policies on being late to class?” Aamira asked, smiling to Mine, but mentally cursing herself in the process.

At this rate, she was already late to her course, and she was not quite sure whether or not she should go and take the inflicting wrath that her professor might have waiting for any late students.

“If there isn’t any, I guess I will just head off to class, but I just wanted to make sure first.” She paused slightly, feeling a little embarrassed about being late, “I have first period Collective Gerontology with Professor Josephine Quinn, and I uh…just happen to be late for class…just a tiny bit, that is. Hehheh”

Noticing that her posture was slightly off, Aamira righted herself before grinning at Mine.

Mine looked up from her work at Aamaria. "Quinn hmmm? She's pretty eccentric worst thing I can think of is she'll call on you more in class and pick on you, but nothing to bad. I'd advise you go ahead to her class and be late rather than miss the first day completely. I'm sure she'll understand if you explain you were helping out a fellow student hahahaha." Mine stated it bluntly in her cheery voice.

"Ah Lord Syora is going to be late if he doesn't get going soon..." Mine said aloud, she got up from her desk, "Excuse me," she added and then walked through a door. From the other side of the door she could be heard yelling "WAKE UPPPPPPP!" and no response shouted in return.

Frost sat by himself in the gym and didn't want to be bothered until Ashley came out of nowhere and smacked him in the back of the head.

"Hey you! Looking forward to getting beat up by me this year?" she joked.

" Like I said, it won't happen like last time." Frost said gently punching Ashley in the arm, " We could spar and see if you really can beat me, but I doubt you'll be able to."
He smiled as the temperature around him dropped to the point where everyone could feel it.
" I won't even use my sword this time."

"Haha but I have a new trick that will knock everyone in the gym flat, it's my new signature move. I won't go completely all out if you won't." she said with a smile as she got chills on her arm from the sudden temperature drop. She set her things down next to Frost's and then walked to a separate part of the gym, it looked something like a hockey rink except with a floor matching that of the gyms. There was a seemingly hard plastic wall encircling the space and seats arranged around it. This part of the gym was bluntly named the arena, the walls were a safety precaution to keep the students powers from affecting the students not in the duel.

She talked to a teacher at the entrance to the arena then gave frost the thumbs up and walked in, some students around took note that a duel was about to start and moved to the arena to watch. Ashley unstrapped her Book of Necromancy from her belt and grasped in it her right hand as the chains sealing the book seemed to slither up her right arm like snakes.

"I hope you got better too, wouldn't want this to be easy other wise there's no one fun to be my rival." she said with a smile on her face as she waited for Frost to get ready.

Aamira looked at Mine after her response, with a hesitant look of inquisition.

Yes, this woman was absolutely insane…

“Hehheh…heh… Yeah… Thanks. I am sure that I will be seeing you around again soon.”

At that point, Aamira turned away from the desk, and in the direction of the door.

‘I could have figure as much with the courses and all…but that woman… She scares the h...’

But, Aamira’s thoughts were cut off by something else, “WAKE UPPPPPPP!”

Wincing a bit at the unexpected holler (more like a yell), Aamira slowly edged closer to the door.

‘Yeah, it isn’t her fault. It is her job. I completely blame her job!’

“Thanks again!” Aamira hollered to no one in particular.

At that, she firmly grasped the handle on the door, preparing herself for class…the one that she was late for.

Taking a deep breath, she quickly and forcefully opened the door, and walked out, embracing her fate.

Frost chuckled as he entered the arena where Asley was, he felt ice slide up his arm and he created arm blades.
" I want you to go all out." Frost said as his icy blue eyes started to shine, " I haven't perfected a certain technique with my sword just yet so that's why I didn't bring it out."
He felt the arena get colder and saw smoke rise from the floor. He realized that his powers were freezing certain parts of the arena floor.
" Let's have fun the best way we know how." Frost said as he ran toward Ashley, " By fighting to see who's the best!!!"

Alec left out of the Main building after two classes and went to his third, gym. "I know it's required for freshmen but I love this class. It gives me a chance to be free. I wonder who else is taking gym on third." Alec said as he made his way towards the gym. As he entered he noticed the arena lights on and kids surrounding the arena. "I wonder who is in the arena." Alec thought to himself. He walked up to a student and asked who was in the arena. He was told that Frost and Ashley were. "Haha those two again, I wonder how have they improved." He then turned to a freshman standing next to the plastic glass. "I wouldn't get so close Frost power tends to get loose and freeze a little past the glass. You know I've only used this Arena once." The freshman asked why. "Well my power is kind of destructive and so I have to use the outside arena to keep collateral damage down." He said as he smiled looking towards the two fighters.

Lilith entered the gym, looking extremely annoyed.

"So help me if they expect me to run..." she mumbled to herself.

She walked over to where all the other students were to see what was going on. Her eyebrow raised in interest to see exactly what it was.

"A duel? Interesting..." she said out loud as sh stood in the crowd of students.

"Bring it ole buddy pal!" Ashley yelled and then ran towards Frost head on. An odd choice for her style of fighting compared to his but the first few shots were always warm ups for both of them to get in the feel of the duel and get the adrenaline pumping. She jumped over the swing of his ice blade and places her hand on his shoulder and flips over him.

While in the air her chains around her book unravel and her book opens the lettering starts to glow a faint dark purple light and a magic circle appears under Ashley as she lands on the ground. She focuses for a moment and energy flows from her into the floor around her, "Risen Dead!" she announces her spell and the floor turns black a monster comes out of it and she sighs.

"I was hoping to summon Atsuko but looks like he didn't want to answer, but you're always wanting to fight Frost it seems Kiyoko." Ashley says to the shadow standing before her. It seemed to be a shadowy figure with the vage shape of a human like form that would be drapped in robes if it had any definishtion, the only things that could be identified in the shap were arms and hands with long sharp red nails, two red glowing eyes, a sharp white toothed grin and chains hanging off the creature. Anyone who knew a thing or two about dark summonings could recognize it as a shade, a creature that was one a living being the was filled with the will to fight when it died, it was usually the soul of a mercenary or solider of some sort. The soul had signed it's will to that of the necromancers of the world in hopes of being summoned once again for battle, it was one of the lower summonings done.

Ashley feel back some for the summoning itself drains her current life energy, nothing as fatal as it sounds, just that for every summoning a necromancer has the more energy from the current stamina of the life it takes away, upon dispelling the summoning the energy would return unless it was sealed away in the summoning first, which Ashley knew Frost neither could nor wanted to do.

"You remember Kiyoko?" she asked looking at Frost, she pointed at him and Kiyoko moved forward in a flurry of shadow and jingling chains and swung at him with it's claws. While Ashley debated on what to do next herself.

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost remebered who Kiyoko was and it filled him with dread. He dodged Kiyoko's attacks and threw in a few of his own to parry hers. He felt the adrenaline pumping and he decided to stop trying to get a feel for the duel and decided to get serious.
" I didn't want to do this but since you brought Kiyoko out, I think this would be fair." Frost said as snowflakes started to appear, " I hope Kiyoko can stand the cold."
The snowflakes touched her and parts of her body started to freeze over.
" In a matter of minutes Kiyoko will be completely frozen over."

[Luzifer]

Shani slipped in to the office behind as another boy and girl were just leaving. He ignored them, they ignored him, it was a win all around he though.

Looking around the office, he noted the lack of a person to help him with his current circumstance, but he did hear voices, indicating that perhaps, while they might not be hear presently, help was not far distant. All the same he stood silent and attentive in front of the desk his back straight, a soldier waiting for his marching orders to be given.

"Well, that was boring." Roandy says as he walks out of his first class. He then heard rambling, talking about a battle going on, it came form the gymnasium. Roandy walks in and stops on his feet, catching a sight of an amazing battle.

Hmm... A battle. Dad has told me about that.

Roandy smiles as he balls his hand into a fist, showing determination.

Soon, I'll be in my own battle, and I'll make sure to it that I'll win.

Roandy watches the battle as he thinks over his own strategies...

The night pasted as quick as lightning and before he knew it Ryker was up in the morning getting ready for the day. He cleaned himself up nicely and looked very much the part of a senior on the school council. His slipped his pre made seals into there respective pouches and carried some fresh paper and ink inside his shirt. Just in case. He left his room feeling clean and refreshed and since his mornings were free began his wondering of the corridors.

He hoped for a quiet day, like he alwasy did and passing by the students as they made there way to classes made him feel slightly protective of them all. It was strange but he wanted nothing more then for them all to grow up in peace. He almost thought he was sounding like some kind of teacher. Well it was his aim. He wondered around the corridors in the mood to help any who needed it. He also looked forward to his duel later. A small condriction to his normal frame of mind but maybe a friendly duel between friends is a good stress reliever and a good way to bond.

amatime smiled "me amatime" she licked his hand a bit not sure what to do with it and crouched to stratch behind her ear with her foot. "what you do?" despite not wanting to go to school completly the people intrested her a bit though they intrested her less than any animal would.

As Raphael made his way to the gym, his third class of the day, he began to wonder where to meet his new friend Veronica Sanderson. He took note of the crowd that was in the arean. It look liked something was going down. He decided to get closer and try to figure out what was the commotion about. It seemed that a battle was stirring up.

As Veronica entered the gym with speed, she saw a crowd and rushed into it to see what was happening and at the same time, she noted her friend Raphael in the crowd. She made her way over to him and gave him a tight hug.

(Veronica) "Hello yellow! How's it going Raphael? What's going on?"
(Raphael) "Oww, that's a bit too tight Veronica. It seems that a duel is going down right now."
(Veronica) "A battle? Oh cool that's awesome. So whose battling?"
(Raphael) "Give me some time and I'll figure out."

As Raphael began to spectate the battle, he took a while to figure out the students in the current battle but he managed to get their names after remembering the classes he took.

(Raphael) "Ashley and Frost."
(Veronica) "Wow, this battle should be interesting!"
(Raphael) "Should, unless something happenes..."

Roandy found it weird that she licked his hand, but after seeing her scratch her head with her foot, it became obvious; she was a werewolf, or out of Roandy's perspective. Even though he was a vampire Roandy loves dogs, he doesn't care what other vampire says, so he found it cute. Roandy playfully pets Amatime.

amatine kicked her leg when he started to pet her, she already liked this one.A few students looked at it and snickerd as amatine's tongue began to hang out off her mouth some drool dripping on the ground. This went on until the arena teacher walked over to them "roandy please stop that, she needs to start to learn to act like a human as she is not a dog" she pulled amatine up at her arm "and you young lady need to stop acting like one your no longer in the forest you know" amatine growled lightly at the teacher as she intervered.

Roandy looked at the teacher, flustered, "I'm sorry." Roandy said as he took his hand off of Amatime's head and back to his side.

Roandy then turned to Amatime, "I'm sorry about that. I just used to have a dog named Inu. All the other vampires judged me since they didn't like dogs. Inu was one of my only friends," Roandy holds back his tears, "when I saw you scratch your ear, it reminded me of Inu." Roandy rubbed his eye, "Sorry, my eye itches."

Ashley shivered a bit, "Kiyoko can stand it better than I can at least," she jested with Frost. Kiyoko continued its barrage of swipes and slashes at Frost slowing more and more as the cold began to over come it. Kiyoko froze completely in mid-swipe at Frost.

"I guess I'll try out my new trick now." Ashley thought as she was Kiyoko had frozen. She smiled and threw her book in front of her, the chains on her arm unraveled as it pulled away and the book stopped mid air and glen as it did when Ashley summoned Kiyoko. Chains started to emit seemingly from the book and latch onto parts of the plastic wall, causing some of the students to jump back, and the floor of the arena One shot through Kiyoko just as it as the summon faded and almost hit Frost swiping near his head.

"Good maybe he'll think this was an actual offensive attack and not notice the effects..... This arena is just a bit bigger than my range though so if he goes out of it he might notice the difference...." she though.

"Well well it seems my aim is off... Guess I'll have to try harder!" she acted as if the magic was failed, she decided to only release small amounts of the decay effect at a time so it wasn't easily visible if inside the area of effect.

"As long as he doesn't go to the other end of the arena he may not notice...." she thought as she backed him and the summoning circle appeared under her again, she waited a moment then two and sighed. "At least Frost hasn't attacked me yet, psh he probably wants to see Atsuko I always talk highly about him but never summon him in a fight with Frost...." she thought as she gritted her teeth and knelled down on top of the dark void.

"Uhhh just a sec...." she said looking at Frost. "GET YOUR BUM OUT HERE!!!!!!" she yelled as she stuck her hand in the void and seemed to be feeling around for something. "YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT BUDDY YOU'RE MY VASSAL NOW DO WHAT I SAY!!!" she yelled as she reached her other arm in and then seemed to be pulling something out. She fell backwards with a thud and a creature similar to the one as before appeared. The main difference was the creature was shrouded in whit with a definable skull for a head, there were more chains on the creature and it had an extremely large scythe.

Simone walked up beside Alec in the gym, like everyone else she had nursed him sometime in the previous year too. She had her glasses on and was watching she smiled slyly. "Can you tell? ... The chains, they're emitting some sort of energy." she said to him as she watch Ashley stuggle with summoning Atsuko.

"I wonder if he'll notice and what it does.... Their fights always seem to attract a crowd it seems," she added as she noted all of the kids watching.

"You know," Ashley started to say as she got up. "I could really use your help every now and then, and you signed your soul away to fight, the least you could do was show up and be a soul shield or something!" she chastised the shade. It looked back at her for a moment and then charged forth faster then Atsuko had and swung it's scythe at Frost.

"Frost meet the selfish but powerful Atsuko, think of him as a meaner version of Kiyoko." she said hoping the idle conversation would last her long enough for her Reach of Decay to take effect. She knew if he got rid of Atsuko she only had one summon left and refused to use him for duels, and she also knew while she beat Frost at agility he had her bested on physical power, could take a hit better, and had more stamina than she did.

"I'm just worried he's already more than halfway to the edge of my range I hope he doesn't jump out of it..." she thought as she watched.

Mine watched as the old Syora teleported some where and sighed, "He's going to be the death of me..." she muttered as she walked back into the front office and noticed a boy standing there like a solider at attention. "What can I help you with?" she asked as she hide her weariness and smiled at him.

Frost dodged Kiyoko's attacks until she froze completely over, he smiled as Ashley attempted to summon something else. He dodged the attack and wondered what she was planning. He looked at her with a dumbfounded look as she told him to hold on. Apparently, Ashley was trying to summon something and it wouldn't listen. It appeared and it none other than Atsuko.
" I've been waiting for you." Frost said as more ice started to form around his legs, " I hope you don't mind losing today."
As soon as he finished saying that, Atsuko swung its scythe and Frost barely dodged it.
" I think it's time to unleash a new technique I learned." Frost said as the smoke coming from the floor swirled around him, " I'm not called Frost for nothing."
The smoke swirled around him and he vanished into thin air. He was actually under the ice and waited for the moment to strike.

[Nephilim]

Ashley looked around and sighed knowing she couldn't find him on her own. "Maybe I should just start the chant and hope i can finish it in time before he attacks.... Nah he's not that patient." she thought. Atsuko morphed back to being infront of her and gripped it's scythe more closely to it's chest.

"Hm? Aw are you protective of me after all? How cuuuuute!" Ashley laughed as Atsuko looked back at her then it stood aware for Frosts next strike.

[Luzifer]

Shani barely glanced at the woman entering the room, "Ma'am it would appear that my schedule did not arrive at my church in time for today's classes and I would like a copy." Though his tone was polite his tone was anything but. Shani had never been good at hiding his frustration and disapproval.

With all the ice around the arena Frost felt some movement on the surface. He smiled and resurfaced right in front of Atsuko and threw a barrage of attacks to distract them from the ice entity that was forming behind Ashley.
" Is this all you have Atsuko?" Frost said trying to provoke it, " I thought that you were more powerful than this."

Lilith soon found herself bored. Very bored. She looked over at CB, who seemed to be as uninterested in the duel as she was. She pulled away from the crowd with a bit of a sigh.

"Shall we use this time productively and train?"

She turned to see CB follow and nod in delight.

"Send a signal to Hatter, Mable, Rosie and Posie. The others can stay in their current positions."

She glanced up and noticed the various speckles of red eyes beaming down on her. Good, they were following their master to ensure her safety. She watched as the few she called for personally came out of hiding. They gave little nods and followed CB, who was following Lilith.

"I suppose we can train out in the front of the school....its nice and spacious there..."

Of course, by "we" she meant the horde. Lilith never, ever fought herself. She had no need to. Thats what her robots were for

Atsuko seemed to form an eerie smile on the skull of a head he had, and struck again this time missing Frost on purpose. He latched the scythe into the floor and then the chains on his body moved and shot passed Ashley causing her to fall.

"He's in front of you you.... Oh...." she heard the ice behind her shatter. "His senses are more powerful than I remember no wonder he doesn't listen when I summon him he's almost above shade level...." she muttered as she watched Atsuko taunt frost with a 'come hither' gesture of his hand and then picked up his scythe bringing a floor board with it and flinging it at Frost.

"Oh? .... Well that's odd. You're that Shani boy.... One moment." Mine walked over to a different filing cabinet and dug through it and brought out a file. "Well here's your schedule and I'll assume you don't need a map of the grounds or a key seeing as how it's openly accepted that you break school tradition and stay off campus," Mine added with a laugh as she handed Shani his schedule.

Alec turned and noticed Simone speaking to him. "Hey Simone, I'm glad you are back this year, I just love the way you heal." Alec turned back to the duel. "But yes, I can see the energy coming from the chains. If you look faintly you can also see the area in which this move effects. This must be one of the new moves she was telling me about." Alec said as he looked towards Simone again. "She still has a hundred years before she can handle me." He said laughing to himself. "Hey simone, do you ever get into duels?"

" So you were on to my plan." Frost said with a grin, " Well now I guess I'll come to you then."
Frost slashed the floor board and shot an ice blast at Atsuko. The blast got bigger and bigger until it was half as big as the arena. He followed it and split it into a few smaller balls of ice. He created ice around his fists and began to swing at Atsuko.
" Even if you two dodge my ice balls, you still have me to deal with!"

Simone smiled up at Alec, "I prefer not to and usually only duel when it's exam time and required, but when I do I prefer to fight in the outer arena, as you know it's much bigger and takes up some of the forests near the school, it's much more useful to my fighting style and strategy." she paused and smiled up at him, "Every rose has it's thorns but I still prefer not to prick people if I don't have to," she added.

She turned back to the duel and sighed, "If they don't finish soon the final class of the day will start...." she added.

Ashley watched as the ice balled hurdled towards her and smiled. his aim was off, which meant her spell was taking effect slowly but surely. She dodged one then two ice balled whit Atsuko sliced through them with his chains and claws and tried to find an opening to move to attack Frost while Ashley stayed focused on avoiding everything all together.

" Predictable Ashley." Frost said as his body turned into smoke, " I realized what you were doing a long time ago."
He reappeared behind her and grabbed her shoulder with his icy hand.
" I knew something was wrong when I felt the ice was different." Frost said as the ice from his hand started to crawl down Ashley's arm, " I don't know what spell it was you casted but I don't like it."

Roandy held back his tears, to him crying in front of someone was considered weak. He sees that the battle has gotten more interesting, with the boy using a technique. "Amatime, do you know anything about that boy over there?" He points to the boy freezing Ashely.

Shani looked at the woman, than at the schedule than back at her, "Yeah... something like that." He replied before turning to leave.

He made his way to class without incident. He heard whispers that people were fight but the word "dueling" was used so he decided not to get involved. The school allowed dueling and no malice was being invoked in most of those fights. Admittedly actual fights did happen, fights where people were severely injured. Shani would know... he was part of many of them. However, this didn't sound to be the case so he just focused on class.

Mine watched the boy leave then sighed after he had left and said, "Some of the kids here give me the creeps...."

"Ahhhhhh! Cold cold cold! You coulda made it so cold I couldn't feel it at least!" Ashley yelled as she had the natural reaction any girl would and turned slightly and slapped Frost, hard. So hard that she was able to move away and out of his grasp. "You're lucky you had the arm with the book in it or you'd be in the arena wall right now buster!

Atsuko finished taking care of the last of the ice balls and turned and morphed in front of Ashley. It lunged forward at Frost but halted.

"Ah it knows the duel is over, smart creature." Simone said to Alec as the bell started to ring.

Atsuko fell into a portal identical to that of the one he came out of. "Well he was certainly in a hurry to leave once the duel was over...." Ashley mumbled.

She looked at Frost, the chains around started to with draw into her book and then she restrapped it to her belt and smiled, "Too bad they only took a portion of their effect on you, I woulda so won!" she jested with him. "Good fight as always now.... defrost my arm hahaha," she laughed as she walked over to Frost. "What class do you have next anyways?" she asked as she got to him.

Shall we go to our next class considering we have it together," Simone asked as she looked up at Alec, taking her glasses off and smiling at him. They ALWAYS had the last class of the day together, every year she's been there so far and she had found out by eaves dropping on accident that this year was no different.

[Light Buster]

Raphael stood back up and looked back at Veronica as she looked back at him.

(Raphael) "Well, looks like the battle's over. Better get to your last class."
(Veronica) "Aww, it was getting to the good part."
(Raphael) "Well, it seems that the good stuff will have to wait. So how about we practice here later?"
(Veronica) "Sure, sounds like a good idea! So, what's your next class?"
(Raphael) "Calclius."
(Veronica) "That's great. I have that class too! We can help each other out!"
(Raphael) "Really..."

Roandy stood there as everyone left the gymnasium.

Hmmm...

That was the only thing on Roandy's mind, he ponders about that boy and his abilites. It took him a while to realize that school was almost over. He runs to his last class, waving goodbye to Amatime.

"Sure lets go. There hasn't been a year when we haven't had our last class together." He said as he looked at Frost and Ashley. "They have both grown don't you think. I mean before when they dueled there were so many flaws that fighting either one of them would have been pointless, but now it seems that they have both learned a few things." He said as he turned around and began to walk out of the gym, knowing that Simone would follow. "I feel a certain urge to engage in a duel myself now." He said laughing to himself. "Since we both know we have our last class together and i haven't looked that far down my schedule, what is are last class?"

Frost didn't hit her back when she slapped him because he deserved it for freezing her arm. He made the ice fade away and walked out of the arena.
" I haven't looked that far on my schedule." Frost said, " I know I would've won but the bell rang."
Frost noticed a strange guy with a red arm running away from the gym waving at the animal girl. He wondered if he saw their fight and it made him think.
" Hey Ashley, did you see a guy with a red arm watching us?" Frost asked reaching for his schedule

As Raphael was making his way toward his last class of the day, he looked outside of a nearby window and took note of a eagle that was flying in the sky. He knew he had to run another errand after his last class that was supposely his most hardest subject, Calclius. He didn't really pay attention to his surroundings so Veronica had to put him in a head lock to get his attention again.

(Veronica) "Hello! You know you should pay attention to what's in front of you."
(Raphael) "Sorry, just something in my head just came up. I have to run an errand today after my last class."
(Veronica) "Oh, really? Okay, maybe we'll get together once you finish you errands."
(Raphael) "Yeah, if I have enough time."

Raphael and Veronica entered the class and found two unoccupied seats and took their seats. They began to take note of the rumors about the duel that just happened but ignored them, seeing it wasn't important at the moment.

"Yeah I did, but I'm sure you'll meet him again sometime this year, I mean after all our first field trip is in two weeks, who knows you may room together," she jested as she grabbed his schedule, "Our last class is the same, Anatomy, let's get going..." she added and then they walked off to class.

Simone smiled and followed behind Alec, "Yes, they have improved much, but they still have a way to go...." Simone stated as they turned a corner to go up some stairs.

"We're student teachers for Anatomy, along with Ryker, you know what that means.... I get to make you two drink potions to make you feel no pain and turn your skin transluscent and show what happens when you apply or do something to the body!" she added with her cheery smile, she only acted this way for she had been student teacher before and knew that no harm would come to them.

"Who would you want to duel first?" she asked as they walked into the class, she glanced to see who all was in the class, Ashley and Frost she knew would be arriving shortly, an array of lower class men faces were in their chairs and she noticed Ryker was no there yet but she assumed he was also on his way, knowing he likes to look good in front of the others he couldn't stand to be lat.

Roandy almost fell asleep during the last class of the day.

Blah,Blah,Blah... BORING! Roandy thought as the teacher spoke.

That battle, was one of the best ones I've seen. If I ever want to beat an opponent, one must study their opponent. That Ashley girl uses summoning powers, while that boy uses the powers of ice. Hmmm...

The class was finally over, "Thank God" Roandy whispers to himself, walking around the halls.

Maybe I should go to the gym, to test my skills.

Roandy walks to the gym with the Blood Sword in hand.

"Sound's like fun. This will be our second time being student teacher's together." HE said as they made there way to the room. "You seem to be liking this idea a little more thsn most." Alec said looking down at Simone. He looked around the room and saw a lot of new faces and noticed Ashley and Frost. "Hey Simone, we have the very talkitive underclassman and the very quite one maybe they'll balance each other out." Simone asked Alec who would he want to duel first and it took him a little time to think. "Wel' I think I'd duel Ryker because we haven't dueled since freshman year and even then it ended in a draw." He looked towards the door. "Where is Ryker anyway?"

Frost didn't like Anatomy and he didn't like the fact that their duel was a draw either. He sighed and his saw his breath, he realized that he was losing control of his powers. He calmed down and he felt in control again.
" I hate Anatomy." Frost said with a disgusted look on his face, " It's bad enough my rival is in the class with me but now I have to actually work harder than you. I hate when I have to work hard."
They entered the class and he saw Alec and Simone chatting away. He didn't care about what they were talking about so he found a seat in the back, away from people, and waited for his instructions.

Lilith sat in her last class and found herself bored to tears. Why is god's name would she care about anatomy? She already knew anatomy...so to speak. If she didnt, then how could she have built everything she had? If anything, she should be allowed to show her work and skip the class all together.

Her eyes shifted around the room and fell on the two who had dueled earlier.
She found it interesting that both were in her class, and seemed to be on good terms with each other.

She sat back in her seat and realized that she had not spoken to a single person all day, aside from the headmaster. Her eyes lowered a bit as she sank in her seat, feeling slightly defeated

"SHADOW BALL!" Roandy yelled out as a blackish cloud ball appears from his Blood Arm. He throws it up in the air, Roandy then makes more Shadow Balls and tosses many in the air and gets his Blood Sword ready. As the Shadow Balls falls, Roandy slashes some of them with great speed. The rest of the Shadow Balls fell, Roandy got his Blood Arm ready. "DARK KLAW!" Roandy yells, the Blood Arm's sharp claws became black tipped, he jumps in the air and slashes the rest of the Shadow Balls.

Less than an hour later...

Roandy takes breaths, exhausted after the training. "That's it for today..." Roandy says, assuming he's alone. He walks out of the gym with his blood sword.

[Luzifer]

Shani payed attention during class. He didn't break the rules and though he didn't enjoy class, he never the lest did well. He while not exceedingly intelligent his strong work ethic and meant that he was near the top of his class, not something one would normally suspect of a fire tempered priest.

So, he sat watching the teachers of his various classes lay out their curricula and hand out their syllabi. He didn't disturb anything, didn't speak, didn't answer question, just observed.

Eventually class was dismissed and he left making his way to the library. The library had some people, not many but enough for him to be cautious. Normally, the library only clogged up during mid-terms and finals when the school's layabouts realized that there procrastination had left them with precious little time to fulfill their scholastic obligations.

he picked up the book he had been reading the day before and sat away from the others carefully scanning its pages while listening for approaching footsteps.

Once class was over, Lilith made her way with her book to the library. She sat down a table across from a boy, one that she didnt notice in any of her classes.

She opened her book and went back to the reading she had been putting off. She was absorbed in her reading until she noticed ClockBunny had taken into staring at the boy.

"Thats rude." she whispered to him. CB looked at her and then back at the book, but once her attention was off of him he went back to staring at the boy.

That was close.

Shani glanced up looking at the girl and her bunny that had very neatly interrupted what he had been doing. The bunny was staring back at him. "... Can I help you?" he asked, deliberately slipping in a small but noticeable amount of annoyance.

Lilith's attention perked up when she heard a voice. She looked to see CB staring again. Letting out a deep sigh, she addressed the boy.

"I apologize. I suppose hes just curious. Its his first time out amoungst people."

She frowned when she noticed CB was -still- staring. She gave him a light tap on the head, to which he turned to face her.

"Stop that. Stare at the desk if youre so intent on staring."

[Luzifer]

"Yes, well... be responsible if you bring children on campus" Shani scoffed as he turned back to pretend to read his book. He couldn't do anything as long as the girl was here but there wasn't anyway to get rid of her so he just waited patiently for her to depart. Part of him just wanted to drive the girl away with a display of violence, but really he couldn't bring himself to do anything of the sort unless provoked.

Roandy walks around the halls of the school, wondering what to do from here.

Hmmm..... What should I do now? I can go to my room, but it's too early in the day. I can go to the library, but I'm already bored as hell. *Sigh* Maybe nothing interesting's gonna happen today.

Roandy continues to walk around, bored.

After waiting to leave Anatomy for so long, Frost got his wish. He got up from his desk and walked out of the room.
" Now I can go get my sword and train." Frost said walking towards his room, " I need to perfect that technique."
He made it to his room and grabbed his sword handle, he then walked back out of his room and walked towards his favorite spot to train. On his way there, he spotted the same guy who was watching him fight. He was sure it was him, that red arm of his easily stood out from the rest of him.
" You're the one with the red arm I saw leaving the gym." Frost said walking over to him, " What are you?"

Roandy was still bored, until he confronted the boy he saw fighting Ashely.

" You're the one with the red arm I saw leaving the gym." Frost said walking over to him, " What are you?"

"How rude." Roandy said in a half-grin, actually meeting a strong individual. "The question is 'who are you?'" Roandy held his hand out, "My name is Roandy Zorrilla." Roandy says, awaiting a handshake.

" My name is Frost." he said shaking Roandy's hand, " I asked what are you because I've never seen someone with a red arm."
He wondered about his powers but he didn't really care at the moment, he just wanted to train for a while.
" I'll see you later, I've gotta go to my training session." Frost said walking away from him, " I guess I'll have to find out about your abilitirs in match one day."

Ryker
He left the nurses office with a slight frown on his face. He swollowed his pain though as he get back into the flow of students. It was best not to let anyone else know. The nurse wouldn't tell and he had no reason to press concern on others. But it did however make him miss a class. Anatomy. He sighed as he walked through the halls. It was to be his only class for the day and his first class of the new year. Now he had missed it and ruined what others may think of him. He sighed again. What really concerned him wasn't that though. He pressed against his arm and muttered something. It was a long day.

Jace
It was either fate or luck that woke him up. Maybe it was the sun pounding through the curtains. But jace suddenly relaised that he was laying in bed with most of the day gone already. Classes skipped. Work misssed and more importanly food not eaten. He scrabbled about as best he could within his new room. His room mate must have been and gone because he hadn't seen them yet. Before bursting out of the door he took a moment he check his locks, not wanting to repeat of last night and he then dived out as fast he could to find he next class.

[Light Buster]

As Raphael left his final class for the day with Veronica, he began to look outside for that eagle again. It was his family bird and he had to complete his task before he can get back with Veronica again.

(Veronica) "So, you're going to do your things?"
(Raphael) "Yeah, it's important for my family."
(Veronica) "Well, that's understandable. So, when are you going to come back?"
(Raphael) "Soon, once I finish up here."
(Veronica) "Okay, I'll see you in your room."
(Raphael) "See ya..."

Raphael and Veronica began to part ways toward their perspective motives. As Raphael began to jog down the hall toward the nearest exit, Veronica began to think about her roommate and friend.

(Veronica) There's got to be more to him than just being a messenger...

Veronica wondered on as she made her way over to the gym to train while he was away. Maybe that will kill some time...

As Raphael finally made his was outside, he began to look around for his family bird. He made tunes and whistles that he and his family only knew to find that bird. He looked in the sky and saw the bird began to fly down towards his position. Raphael held out his right arm and the bird landed on it with its fine feet. The bird carried a small, rolled-up page in its beak and as Raphael held out his left hand to acquire it, the eagle opened its beak and the page dropped down into Raphael's hand. The bird then flapped its wings and began to soar back up into the distant sky. Raphael looked at the page and unrolled it. It read:

Raphael sighed and rolled up the page, stuffing it in his pocket. Another assassination mission, typical. He's been getting these a lot since he took the oath as an assassin but he knew what he had to do. It was part of his family's history after all. He began to make his way toward the nearest school entrance to see if the target was there.

Class had ended and everyone shuffled out, Ashley stayed behind until everyone had gone. She was slow to move now for some reason a little sluggish. She had been thinking about something and it gotten to her while in anatomy class. She got up and walked out without saying anything. She walked down the halls seeming to space out more, she turned a corner and just lightly bumped into someone, because of her daze she fell flat on her butt.

"Oh, I'm sorry..." she said in a somber tired tone while getting up. She looked to see that it was no other than Ryker she had bumped into and quickly tried to hide her emotions.

"Oh! Ryker! My bad!" she said in a slightly nervous but happy tone while hoping he didn't notice her previous apology. "Wh where are you coming from? Simone said something about you being a student teacher with her and Alec in Anatomy," she stated as she looked up at him.

Simone sighed as everyone left and looked up at Alec, "Well tomorrow I get to break your bones while they are visible to the class, sounds like fun doesn't it?" she asked as she started to walk out of the class, her usual smile on her face as she wrote something down. "Ryker never showed up, that's not like him, I wonder if he's taken ill...." she added.

"Sir!!! We have to start planning the trip that's a lot of kids to house and travel to the trade capital!" Mine yelled as Syora removed his shawl and sat down in his chair.

"We'll be fine Mine, calm down," he assured her.

"But sir.... those rumors.... they make even you uneasy." she added then both their faces got serious.

"It's getting worse." Ryker thought, "Father said it would. But then I never thought it would be this bad." He sighed to himself, "How does he do it?"
He was lost in thought when suddenly he collided with another person. Stumberling and throwing his arms out to grab something he fell on top of the poor person. He groan for a moment and realising the body he fell on to be quite soft he guessed it must have been a girl. Best to say sorry and try to sweeten them so they would forgive him.
"I'm so sorry." He muttered, in the kindest voice he could put on. "I just wasn't focussing." He looked up to see it was Ashley. "Oh Ashley!" He shook his head and then pulled himself up quickly. He brushed himself down and put on his best smile. He also made sure he arm was still covered. He reached down a hand to help her up. She was asking questions about why he hadn't shown up. He had to think quick.

"I was called on to do a favour by a teacher." He lied, "They said not to worry about the class since Alec and them could handle it." He smiled at her, "Sorry again for bumping into you. How are things going?" He tried to change the subject. "I heard you had a duel before."

Ashley looks up at Ryker blushing slightly as he helps her up listening to his reason for why he wasn't in class. "Oh I see," she said in a very monotone voice.

"Huh? My duel?" she repeated the question having forgotten abotu her duel ealier. "Oh! It was ok, the bell stopped us from getting a victor." she explained putting on a fake smile for him.

"Looks like he didn't notice, that's good." she thought as she started to converse and walk with him, which was in the opposite direction of her original destination. She recalled what happened in the duel in a very calm voice, her hands were clasped together in front of her while she walked and she looked down, all odd mannerisms for her that she wasn't noticing she was doing.

She looked up at Ryker, "You look a little pale... are you sick? Or did you not get any sleep last night?" she asked as she reached up and put her hand on his cheek then his forehead to check his temperature.

Ryker
He listened to her talk with only half an heart for some reason. He felt uneasy and out of place. Not his nomral confidance. But maybe it was because Ashley seemed different as well. She was acting a little strange. He just dismmissed it though. However as she raised her hand to check his cheek and forehead he suddenly and violently knocked it aside. It was with a good amount of force and left a mark on her arm.
"Sorry!" He suddenly said in shock, his face went a little red, "I didn't mean to...It's just...well..." He stuttered and stepped back a bit. He didn't know what to say. "Look I'm sorry." He gave a sharp turn and hopped down a few stairs, putting some distance between them, "It's nothing to worry about." He smiled back up to her. It was fake, but it was the best he could do. "I'll see you around ok. I'm sure you have another class to go too." He gave her a wave, hoping she wouldn't press the matter, "Best hurry." He smiled again and tried to make his way off.
"I need find a way to get this out of my system." He thought, "Before something goes wrong."

Lilith arched an eyebrow and looked at ClockBunny with a sense of intrigue.

"Child?" she whispered to him. He only tilted his head, also slightly confused. It not like she made it a point to make him look human in anyway.

He was obviously metal...though she could see how it might be mistaken for a soft, gray fur. The large clock impeded in his chest. Though in his own little way, he was cute like a child would be.

She rubbed the top on his head as if he were a little animal, which seemed to make him -very- happy. It had been a while since she had shown him affection. She gave him a small smile, a rarity from Lilith, and went back to reading

Roandy thought about what Frost have said. He's made it a personal note to himself that he'll show Frost his powers. Roandy figured that Frost was a senior, seeing that he makes his way through the school quickly. Roandy thinks of his strategies as he walks.

"ow!" she yelped slightly as the red mark formed on her arm. It wasn't like Ryker to take part in violence at all let alone against a friend. "Something's wrong, and he's trying to hide it, he's going to explode if her doesnt let it out..." she though. He moved tdown the stairs to put space between them and said something about her next class.

"We only have four classes a day Ryker it's 3:14 in the afternoon, school's done for for today..." she said with a slightly surprised tone. She watched as he started to walk away then quickly moved down the stairs and grabbed his hand. She had forgotten all her previous worries and was focused on him. She looked up at him with an expression of pure worry for him her gaze me his her eyes revealing a concern and caring love for her friend, "Tell me what's wrong..." she said quietly.

"Since I was here today, Let's let Ryker have tomorrow." He said smiling. "Yeah it isn't like him. He's never been late to a class let alone skip one. let's go and find him." Alec said looking down at Simone, continuing to walk along their path.

He stopped suddenly as she spoke. She was right and he knew it but he didn't want her to worry. He didn't want anyone to. More importantly he didn't want anyone to know. His fist clentched. He turned to look at her. It almost killed him to look at those eyes but he swollowed his pain and just smiled again.
"Silly me." He said, "I forgot about that. Must just be getting old eh?" He laugh, it was hollow, "Listen nothing wrong dear Ashley." He forced his hand from hers, harsher then he planned. He bit his lip. "Look just run along now. Don't want to give the fan girls any wrong Ideas." He tried to joke. He turned from her and disappeared into the crowd.

He found himself wondering around the sides of the outside area. The place for those with more destructive powers. He wondered for a moment how they all controlled it. It caused him to put his hand on his arm. He shuddered and continued his walk.
"Really want did I expect to happen if I came here?" He thought. He tried to strengthen himself. "I will last through this." He said to himself with non of the confidance he wanted too. "I will."

Ashley listened to him make up excuses. "Old? That's so bogus!" she started to get ready to yell at him but he forced her hand from his and then tried to crack a joke about his fan girls using it as another excuse, and then before she could stop him he left.

"... Ryker...." she muttered his name as she stared into the crowd holding her arm where he had hurt it.

Simone nodded at Alec and they started looking for Ryker. They came to a set of stairs and found Ashely standing on them staring into space. "Ashley? If you space out on the stairs you're going to fall one of these days," Simone said with a chuckle as they walked to her, "Have you seen Ryker by any chance?" she asked. Simone noticed Ashley holding her arm but decided she probably just hit it on the rail and didn't press asking anymore questions. Simone and Ashley didn't have much of a relationship they had a class together this year and Ashley had seen her once or twice in the nurses office last year but that was it.

"Huh?" Ashley was completely out of it now and she didn't try to hide it. She looked from Simone to Alec and then sighed, "No I haven't seen him..." she lied, she didn't know why she had lied but she did. "I have to go...." she said and then walked down the stairs. She spent a little while looking for Ryker then walked outside the school walls to the meadow. There was a small lake in one side of the meadow with a large old tree near it, she walked to the tree and sat down at it's base with her back against it.

The sun was just starting to set causing the sky to go from blue to light orange. The warm tones of the light covered everything making the world around her glow. She sighed as the wind rippled the surface of the lake and danced with both the white and black strands of her hair. She looked up at the pink flowers in the tree here light purple eyes almost seeming to glow in the light. "What could be so wrong with him to make him act that way?" she muttered.

The she shook her head and gritted her teeth, "Arrrgh! Why do I even care!? If the jerk doesn't wanna tell me then oh well!!!" she yelled as she shot up and kicked the base of the tree, then she fell back down and sat on the ground. "This sucks," she muttered.

"I don't know her very well but did she seem out of sorts to you Sir Alec?" Simone asked as the continued their search for Ryker.

"Yes, that wasn't like her at all. She barely gave me a look let alone one of her smart comments." Alec folllowed Simone around and they had no luck in locating Ryker. "Let's check outside. Some people look for things like fresh air when they are down." Alec said making his way to a door that leads outside. Hegot to the door and opened it. "After you Miss." He said with a smile waiting on Simone to pass through the door.

Frost had returned to his favorite spot to train, he gripped his sword handle and watched as the moisture in the air created his blade. He rubbed two of his fingertips on the blade and froze it over. He swung it around to see if it was cold enough for his tastes and he decided that he wouldn't worry about it right now.
" Now to perfect that technique." Frost said as the whole area started to snow, " If I can't do this then my training will be for nothing."
He felt the snow touching parts of his arms and face but he still kept his composer in check. He then felt the snow turn into ice and it froze the parts it touched yet he still kept his composer. The ice completely froze him over and stopped falling, he was encased in ice and was using it as armor. He lowered the tempurature to 0 degrees and started to fall. HIs skin turned purple and his lips turned blue from the sheer cold. He stayed like that for 20 seconds and then the ice armor shattered.
" I still can't use his technique." Frost said as the color came back to his skin.

[Nephilim]

Simone walked out of the door and nodded her head at Alec in thanks. "Well know we've checked inside the school.... And we have two people acting odd let's find Ryker then tell him about Ashley they're dating right? That's how everyone seems to put it... or how I can infer it from the snide comments other girls say about Ashley at least." Simone chuckled.

They searched around for a while and then finally found Ryker by himself around the outer area of the school. "Ryker, there you are, we missed you in class today." Simone said as she smiled at him and walked up to him with Alec at her side.

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost tried and tried but he could only hold it for 20 seconds each time. He cursed and rested on the base of the tree, his eyes felt heavy and he drifted off to sleep. Within his dream, he was in a blizzard and he saw two figures walking toward him.
" Who are you two?" Frost asked keeping his guard up, " Tell me now!!!"
" Don't be that way towards your parents Rei." the man said, " After all I am still your father."
" I don't believe that!" Frost said with tears falling down his cheeks, " You guys are dead and long gone."
" We've always watched over you and we've seen that you're trying my ice armor technique." he said as the ice formed over his body, " There is a way for you to control this but it is very dangerous."
" How can I control it?" Frost said, " No matter how hard I try I can't hold it for more than 20 seconds."
" The reason I can control it is because I'm not afraid." He said walking over to Frost, " You're afraid of freezing to death and that's natural."
Frost woke up and realized that his sword had different look about it. He didn't care about that at the moment but what his dad said.
" Don't be afraid of the ice." he said getting up from the base of the tree, " OK, Let's try one more time!!!!"

[Luzifer]

Shani sighed, putting the book back on the shelf, he wouldn't be able to get any reading done while the girl was hear and telling her to move would seem stranage so he decided just to return to church and start preparation for night mass and vigils.

He swept himself through the library and out. Storming back towards his temple in annoyance and frustration.

As Raphael began to note of the setting sun, he searched the school's outside area for the target. All in all, he saw three people outside but none of them were the target. They were part of the school, two of them are the top seniors of this school, Ryker and Alec. The other was Simone, that Techno Volkain who always helped the doctors in this school. If the target managed to get info or stay near them, it could be trouble for him since he can't be seen killing the target. He stood out of their sights and at the same time, continued his search for the target. He decided to walk the other way to find the target, hoping that he wasn't seen already.

As Veronica began to punch and kick the sparring bag with all of her limbs, she couldn't help feel uneasy about Raphael. She knew that he was friendly and all but she didn't really know about him yet. By the looks of him, he was either a Lupine or Vampire. She was taught to hate them but she didn't really want to hate them. She just wanted to have fun and have friends. Either way, to her, everyone was equal.

As Veronica finished up her 'Crushing Combo' on the bag, she bent down from her hip, looked down onto the gym, and placed her hands on her knees to catch her breath, getting a look at her feet and legs that were enduring her training session. She managed to get a glimpse of the orange light on the ground from the setting sun and wondered when he was going to be back. It's probably going to be late since he is doing errands for his family after all, important ones too. She bent back upright and continued her training on the bag, hoping that she could get some more training in and at the same time, train with Raphael and learn about him.

Ryker
"I hope she is ok." Ryker thought, "I hate this body sometimes." He cursed silently under his breath. He was laid out on the grass just watching the sky. It was obvious that he wasn't in his normal mood and for once other people respected him for it. No girls spying, no first years asking for help. He was able to relax and just think. He had to calm himself down. Itwas a long process to bottle things up again.

Hearing voices he reconised Ryker looked up from were he was sitting. He was on a hill looking out over the parks. It was peaceful afternoon. The sun on it's way but the reflection it cast over everything was quite beautiful. Ryker sighed and curled his legs up a bit more to keep him warm from the breeze that just blew across the grass.
"Hello guys." He said somberly, "It good to see you." He looked at them both. "Sorry I wasn't there." He gave no excuse. "Did anything important happen?" He slumpt back against the grass and tried to relax himself. Today had been the worst day so far. He was being a jerk and completly not himself.
"Listen guys I'm just wanting to have some time to chill if you don't mind." He went back to looking across the fields. "So if you got any problems can we leave them till later?"

[Nephilim]

Simone stood there for a moment listening to Ryker and sighed, "Nothing happened really, but I'm starting to get really agitated with everyone keeping their problems hidden, it's bad for their mental state!" she said as she put her hands on her hip and acted like a mother scolding a child.

She turned on her heel after another sigh and was about to leave when she said, "Oh yeah, do you know what's wrong with Ashley? Alec said she's acting extremely odd." she paused for a moment and added, "If you see her try to find out what's wrong." she stopped and looked at her watch, "Ha it appears I'm late... Good bye you two I have to get to the doctor<' she explained and then left.

Ashley slipped her stockings and shoes off and placed them at the base of the tree and walked over to the banks of the lake. She sat down and put her feet in and smiled somberly. "The water's so cold..." she said to herself. Before she knew it she doze off.

"Daddy the water's cold!" young Ashley was sitting on the edge of a pier with her feet in the water. A man in his late thirties walked up, he emitted an aura of strength and kindness, but looked as though he could knock anyone or anything out of his way and kill them in an instant if he wanted to.

He chuckled and sat down beside her slipping his shoes off and putting his feet in the water too. "The water is cold that it is. I do believe that at this time of year though it feels refreshing to be cooled on a warm late summer day." he said was he placed hims arm around Ashley and rubbed her shoulder.

"Come now you two if you keep your feet in the water you're going to catch a cold in the Summer!" a beautiful woman who Ashley looked almost identical to walked up. The dream faded to a night scene and Ashley and her father were sneezing with fevers and blankets wrapped around them. 'I told you two you were going to get sick." her mother chastised them then they all started laughing.

The laughing faded into the sounds of flames and screams. blood was everywhere and Ashley was sitting on the floor looking up at her father and some of her clan members backs, they all were ready to fight and police men were at the door. Just as they all ran to fight a flurry of black and white picked up Ashley and blocker her vision carrying her away. Then a book was shoved in her hands and she was pushed into a hidden door, it closed behind her and she heard a shot ring.

"MOTHER!!!" Ashley shot up breathing heavily in a cold sweat. The tide had receded and her feet were no long in the water. She looked around, the sun was setting more now, everything was starting to be cascaded in red, the color of flames... the color of blood.

Ashley got up shaking some and slipped her stockings and shoes on and started to walk back wrapping her arms around herself still obviously shaken up, looking down at the ground to hide her eyes. She was so out of it she didn't notice Ryker and Alec on a small hill near by.

[Light Buster]

Raphael continued his search for his target in the woods nearby. The target maybe looking for another way around, or find his own way into the school without having to be seeing. He continued his search for the target and he closed his eyes for a bit, to think of his next move. As he opened his eyes again, the world was now covered in dark outlines in his vision. As he began to look around, he saw a bright red color that was also fluctuating into a gold color some feet away from him. His target was close, all he needed to do was to take him out quietly. He began to move in the direction of the light. As he got closer and closer to the target, he hid himself in a nearby bush to hide. Now that the target is in sight he can move in for the kill.

(Raphael) With no one around, this should be easy.

Veronica fell backwards onto the gym floor with her arms laid out flat, looking up toward the ceiling. Sweat began to trickle down from her forehead toward the rest of her body as she gasp for breath. She had been training for at least an hour now and her body began to feel tired. Maybe she pushed herself a little too hard. She managed to sit up and think on what to do next. The sun is about to go down into the ground and the evening will be here in a minute or so. She got back up on her feet and slipped on her stockings and boots as well as pick up her duffel bag with all of her equipment and armor in it. She began to walk out of the gym and back to her dorm to wait for Raphael and have a chat with him.

(Veronica) I wonder when he'll be back...

[RoZo]

At the roof of the school, Roandy lays quietly on the flat scaffolding. "Ahh the sunset, beautiful for a vampire such as my self." As the sun sets, Roandy almost drifts to sleep, but wakes up. He wonders if he'll get in trouble if he's up there...

He then remembers his goal, "Don't worry Frost, I will show you my full extent, count on it!" He whispers to himself...

[kei of the flame]

Simone ran off in a rush and Alec watched as she left. He then bent down and stared Ryker in the face. "Listen, I didn't have time to speak to Ashley because she ran off but I do have a problem and I'm here now so I'm talking about it now." Alec lifted both his hands and two mounds of earth appeared, one under Ryker lifting him up and one under himself as makeshift stools. "I know there's something wrong with you because of the way you're acting. So if you won't tell anyone else at least tell me." He waited for a response and remembered one more thing. "and I want you to apologize to Simone for the rude way you acted, we can't be the seniors every girl wants if we have bad manors." Alec said smiling.

(OOC: This is right before Ashley walked by.)

Raphael began to move in toward his target, quietly. As he noted the target wondering around trying to find a way over the wall, he got closer and closer with every step. Good progress. Raphael got his hidden daggers ready and prepared to silence the target with one good stab. As he crept closer to the target, the target began to stand still with his back turned, thinking perhaps.

(Raphael) This was going to be a piece of cake.

Raphael closed in on his target and quietly stabbed the target with his left hidden dagger in the heart while covering his mouth at the same time with his right hand. Blood squirted out of the target's body as the target began to fall into unconsciousness. Raphael placed the body down on the ground, waiting for the target to become lifeless. After a few seconds of waiting, he dragged it into a nearby ditch and threw the body in the ditch.

(Raphael) Rest in peace...

Raphael took out the page that he kept with him and wrapped the paper around the blade that was covered in blood, to single his family that the deed has been carried out. He looked into the sky as a eagle began to fly down toward his position. He held out the page in the sky and the eagle grasped it with is beak. It then began to ascend into the sky with the page and proof that Raphael completed his mission. Raphael decided to find a nearby water source to wash off the blood from his blade and return to his dorm and talk to Veronica.

As Veronica arrived at the door to her and Raphael's dorm, she unlocked it and entered it. She placed the duffel bag next to her bed and sat near her desk, wondering how long has it been that Raphael was gone. She hoped that he was okay and began to wonder on what questions to ask him when he gets back.

(Veronica) I really need to talk to him, it's very important. Is he a Lupine? A Vampire? A Magical Volkian? Or like me?

Veronica continued to think about this and drifted off into slumber.

[Luzifer]

Shani moved through the crowd like a knife, it was in the deep of the afternoon and everyone was busy getting the last bits of shopping done before heading home to start cooking dinner. Shani's eyes watched the milleu untrusting, and were rewarded for there vigil. Across from him he noticed a footpad attempt to snatch the exposed purse of some woman. She barely had time to notice before Shani was in pursuit, pushing people aside.

It was not a long chase, Shani was soon close behind and with a swift motion slipped his sword off his back and cut towards the theif's legs. Only a twist of Shani's wrist to hit with the flat of the blade saved the man from being down a limb. The rogue rolled across the cobbles stones landing in a heap with Shani loving over him. His face was badly cut and he put up his hands for mercy, "Please forgive me!" the man said trying to regain composure. "Please! I... I only did it for my sons! They are so hungry and-" the man was cut short when Shani mercilessly cracked him across the face with the flat of his blade knocking both the wind and a couple teeth out of the man. Shani didn't care what the man's reasons were, they were meaningless.

Shani picked the sod up and began to drag him off towards the militia post. By this point the woman who had her purse plucked showed up and Shani tossed her the purse, and the meager two coins within it. "thank you." She said but Shani didn't reply. He didn't care about her either.

Shani shuffled under the weight of the man's body towards the militia post. If this man did indeed have kids, they were going to be without a father tonight, and maybe the next day, depending on how the sheriff felt. In any case it didn't matter, it was all this man's responsibility not his. If his children starved to death because he couldn't feed them with honest work, well, then they were dead.

Roandy walks down the stairs from the roof. "*Yawn* It's getting late..." Roandy said.

I could've at least interacted with one of the other students. Today was just... blah...

Roandy then remembered about that field trip, he'll probably make some friends there or maybe meet up with Amatime or Aamaria again, but for now... sleep

Roandy walks to his room, alone in the slight darkness...

As Raphael finally found a small nearby pond, he placed his left hand in the water. As the water soaked his left hand, blood was soaked off and covered a very small portion of the lake where he placed his hands in. He looked around for any witnesses although there were none. Better safe than sorry. It was getting dark and he needed to return to his dorm before nightfall so he continued his walked with his wet left hand. As the sky got darker and darker, he managed to find a quick way back in the school. He began to search for the nearest entrance to his school and in time, finally found one. He entered it and began to walk directly back to his dorm. And without thinking and knowing about it he was in front of his dorm before he knew it. It was ironic for him to find his dorm quickly and not know about it until he had arrived.

"I know there's something wrong with you because of the way you're acting. So if you won't tell anyone else at least tell me." He waited for a response and remembered one more thing. "and I want you to apologize to Simone for the rude way you acted, we can't be the seniors every girl wants if we have bad manors." Alec said smiling.

Ryker smiled truthfully at his friends concern and then it slowly faded. He leaned forward and put both hands in his jacket, trying to look calm and cool.
"Listen Alec thanks for the concern but I said it's nothing. Now I'm saying this in advance. I'm sorry." With a sudden flash of movement his hand dived out of his pocket and he landed a seal on Alec's forehead. Alec was frozen in place. They had fought a few times and he knew his speed but this close there was nothing he could do to stop him. Ryker stood up.
"Don't worry. It will burn out in a few moments. But it's just to stop you following me. Like I said, nothing is wrong that you have to worry about." He coughed, "I'm going to bed now before I catch a cold. I'll cya in the morning." He grinned, "And don't bother trying to get into my room. I'll be putting barriers on to stop me being disturbed." He calmly walked off. "Cya around Alec." he said as he waved a hand back at his friend.

As he walked off he spotted Ashley. He almost went to call out to her, but after seeing how she looked he felt ashamed. She must have been mad at him or scared of him. He shuddered at the last thought. This made him feel worse. So instead of calling out, he kept silent and made a quick short cut to his dorm.
Getting inside his room he sealed the door and lay flat out on the bed. He knew he wouldn't sleep well tonight and it wasn't just because of what was going on. He sighed as he got changed and collapsed quickly to bed. His thoughts a blend of sadness and regret. He didn't fall alseep easy but he did fall alseep,

Aamira’s classes seemed to had flown by, as well as a day or two.

A lot had happened as well, between the time that she had arrived on campus, from meeting a few new people, and some sort of duel she had heard about through the grape vine.

All and all, Aamira felt like she was adapting to the school quite well, but, she was always on the look-out for the next big thing to happen.

Frost tried it again but barely managed to hold on a second longer than usual. He smiled and realized that he can pull it off but it will take practice.
" I think I can do it." Frost said as he walked back to his dorm, " It's gonna take a bit more practice before I can start to move with it."
He "sheathed his blade" by thawing the blade of his sword. He smiled and walked back to his dorm thinking about the dream he had of his parents.

Roandy sighs when he enters his room. "*Yawn* Well alot has happened today," Roandy says to himself, "and tomorrow's that field trip, I should prepare for that. And who knows I may meet Frost, Amatime, or Aamira again..." Roandy slowly drifts to sleep, easily lulled by the moonlight...

"I heard you were involved in a scuffle, child" the priest voice behind him made the hackles on Shani's neck rise in defiance. He could smell the scolding coming a mile away.

Currently, Shani was sweeping away the dust from the last of the public masses. The night was deep but still young. There would be a vigil, just him and the priest. They would meditate for a few hours, until even the whores and hounds had retired for the night. Only then would they sleep, Shani upon stone and the priest on bare wood. But before their vigil Lylum liked to talk to Shani about ways in which the boy could improve himself, to give him something to meditate on.

"Yes, father. I sinned violence upon another. He deserved punishment though and I could not stand aside and let a sin go unpunished. I will commit myself to flaglation and shall not eat until this time tomorrow as penance." Shani's words and tone were mismatched, his flaring stubborn-nature clear and powerful.

"Now, Shani I know that you like to force upon others a level of strictness that-"

"Father, they are the principles of Justice! Not some parlimentary ettiquette to be followed only when convenient! I commit a sin and I punish myself for them as I should, others should be made to do the same! Sins should be vindicated, not ignored because of circumstance." Shani voice rang through the still of the church, echoing and reverberating as he gripped the broom in white-knuckled hands.

"Child, be calm. The angel Radiant rebelled against Shizuya with words similar to yours." Lylum's words were calm but firm. He was willing to broke some lashing out from his pupil but would not stand for out right rebellion, "We are priest of Shizuya and we, therefore, must hold ourselves to a higher standard-"
"We are humans just like they are! Therefore they should be held to the same stanard as-"

Lylum cut Shani's interuption short "Child, we do not live in an untainted world. If humans were angels Commandments wouldn't be necessary. Even than we would err. Radiant was herself an angel and foulest of all Leelana was the very blood of Shizuya himself. People err, but hopefully they improve for all their mistakes. That is the plight we are in. To demand perfect of the world, as Radiant did, is the beget malice and hatred."

Shani pulled away and returned to his sweeping, his eyes glaring at the gold-emblazoned statue of Shizuya. "Yes, Father" he replied and nothing more was said.

Raphael knocked on the door and waited for an answer. After a few seconds of waiting, there wasn't any. He then unlocked the door and entered it. When he entered the room, he quickly took note of his roommate sleeping on her desk, Veronica. He quietly walked by so he didn't disturb her. He first opened his closet, took off his armor, hung them up in his closet. He began to remove his clothing so he can take a shower. It's been a long day for him and what he needed right now was a good clean up after an assassination. He stored his clothing in his closet as well and entered the shower. He turned the hot water knob slightly and warm water began to soak him from head to toe.

Veronica began to hear water come from the bathroom as she began to wake up. She knew that he was here, about time. She stood up and began to look inside the bathroom to see what was the water for. It turned out that her roommate, Raphael was taking a shower. She decided to do something that he never expected.

He made it back to his room but he didn't enter just yet, he felt something was wrong. He entered and saw everything was in order but there was something else in the room that made him wonder. A flower covered in ice was on his bed and there was a note next to it. It read:

You are not alone, master your abilities and you will become the second ice master of your clan. I will come and check up on you periodically and assess your strength, if you cannot do what is needed of you then I will personally show what happens to those who cannot see the future. I will return in a few weeks and you had better improve your ice armor.

The Original Frost


He knew exactly who it was and it made his blood boil, his uncle was the very first ice user and the strongest out of his family. He had cut all ties with them but his uncle, Rex "Frost" Zerosin, still felt it was necessary to annoy him. How did he know what frost was doing? He had a lot of questions and he needed answers for them. He smiled and felt his powers return to normal.
" I'll show you who the true Frost is." he said crumpling the paper in his hand, " I'll become a blizzard that you can't stop or see."
He laid on his bed and fell into a deep sleep.

Ashley made it to her room still in her cold like daze and cleaned up and went to bed. She didn't say a word to Aamaria or anyone else before hand and feel into a deep sleep only to have the same dream as before.....

***Two Weeks Later***

Everyone's gotten used to the school for the most part, and living in it. Things have gone slowly and nothing of out of the ordinary interest has happened at the School of Doodsfall. It's time for the first of four field trips. A universal alarm clock had gone off in the whole school an hour ago to wake everyone up. The students who had packed the night before had lounged around with ease and started to make their way to the buses, and soon there after the students who did their last minute packing followed. Once every last child was on the bus they headed out, destination Doodsfall Capital of Trade.

***One Week Prior***

"Students in one week we will be taking a field trip to the capital of trade. You will be representing your school during this time so be on your best behavior, while there we will...." Mine starting telling them all of the things they were going to do in the trade capital, proper rules of conduct to follow, free days, where they'd be staying, things of that sort.

"Finally, there are some rumors going around of a slight raise in crime, while it is near impossible to eradicate crime we're taking more precautions than normal and installing a 'buddy system'. So if you leave on a free day leave with at least one person if not a group of friends," Mine closed.

*** Present ***

Simone sat in the middle of the bus she was on with some jockey obnoxious buff daddy kid and his friends sitting around her, surprisingly enough she read as if it were complete silence as they headed off.

Ashley made it to her buss surprisingly early and found Ryker, she ran over to him and sat next to him, "Hey buddy! ready to make the fan girls stare? Oh wait that's your line!" Ashley joked as she sat next to him. She had gotten passed what had happened a couple weeks ago and decided to let Ryker know that everything was okay in her own little way. What better way to do that than to treat him like normal, but she could never fully conceal her concern for him at times.

"Hey what does it mean when you have the same nightmare over and over again?" she asked looking up at him as she sat back in the seat propping her knees up on the seat in front of them and slouching down slightly. Apparently she had sloughed down enough that one of Ryker's groupies didn't see her.

"Oh! Ryker! mind if I...." she stopped when she saw Ashley smiling up at her. "Ne never mind," she added as she walked back to the front of the bus mumbling something incoherent under her breath.

*Hours before the buses arrives*
Roandy woke up really early to pack up. Two weeks and Roandy has now made his way around the school and is now familiar with most things...

*Few Minutes after the buses arrive*
Roandy runs more carefully this time, now knowing his surroundings. He made a few more friends, during his two weeks here he interacted with a few more people. With his sword strapped on his back and bag in hand, Roandy runs to the buses.

*On the bus*
Roandy sits near the back of the bus, with one open seat near him. Roandy hopes he can talk to someone today, it's always fun to talk to someone...

Shani sat calmly in his habit, ignoring the world and mostly meditating on the recent events. They still hadn't caught the vandal that had been desecrating shrines to the various gods and godesses. His relationship with Lylum was still slightly adversarial, though neither showed the conflict directly. Most of it continued to be over Shani's "overzealousness" toward exacting due punishment upon crimals. This same temper that put him and Father Lylum at odds also ostracized him from the school. Not a week ago he had gotten into a fairly major fight after seeing some minor bullying take place. Two seniors were accosting some freshmen (he hadn't paid attention to who, he didn't care) and Shani had stepped in... by smashing one of the seniors skull with the hilt of his blade. The other reacted in time to avoid a similar fate but after a long fight that did no small amount of damage to the hallway he managed to levy and even fiercer punishment upon the other. He was suspended for three days and nearly was prohibited from attending this field trip.

No one sat next to him on the bus ride.

Shani had finished reading the book in the library over the two weeks but was still in the process of digesting the information. He couldn't believe any books of that nature had survived the Council of Karyios but he supposed that anything was possible. He didn't know what to do, the information was fascinating but ultimately didn't point him toward any specific action.

He leaned against the side of the bus, opening his eyes and staring at the passing terrain.

Lilith sat on the bus, alone for the time being. In her lap was a new project that she had been working on for the past few days.

Its name would be something along the lines of 'Jester' or 'Ace'. She hadnt fully decided quite yet.

The base structure of it was more than finished, all that was left was to finish its wiring and programming. If this model was good enough, she would try to create a synthetic soul for it as she had with ClockBunny. She couldnt help but think over the pros and cons of doing so while she worked. The pro was that, if completely successful, it could launch a new line of robotics under her name and change the world. The con was the idea of a deadly machine that could kill on its own personal will. She supposed a few test subjects would be needed to test her theorys.

She looked over to see CB sitting in the empty seat next to her. She sighed and moved her work in progress out of the way, then lightly patted her lap. He moved and sat in it.

"If it wasnt for the fact that someone would need that seat, Id leave you be. Youre gonna have to spend the trip like this."

He moved a bit and stared out the window, standing on the arm rest to get a better view.

"....or you can spend the trip like that..."

As Raphael looked outside of the bus, Veronica was sleeping on his shoulder. They were ready for their first field trip. They also wondered what lies ahead for them in the future.

(Last Night)

As Raphael was about to soap up his body when he heard knocking from behind him. It was too close for it to be his dorm door but when he turned around he saw what he immedietaly reconized. Veronica Sanderson. She was standing at the bathroom's doorway with her arms crossed over her big and strong upper body.

(Veronica) "Can I come in?"
(Raphael) "Sure, if you want..."

Veronica walked over to the shower door and opened it. She then stepped inside the shower and stepped up to Raphael, with many questions in her mind. They began to soap up their bodies first to wash themselves up before Veronica asked her first question to Raphael.

(Veronica) "Tell me, what are you really? A Lupine? Vampire? Or a...?"
(Raphael) "Lupine. I'm assuming you have more questions for me?"
(Veronica) "Yes, I know that you're more than just a messenger. What else do you do?"
(Raphael) "I'm also an assassin, only meant to keep this world safe from corruption."
(Veronica) "I see..."
(Raphael) "It's part of my family's secret. I'm not supposed to tell anyone about it."

They began to rinse off the soap as Veronica asked her next question.

(Veronica) "Even if they're you're friend?"
(Raphael) "I actually do tell my friends. My family actually has friends that know about it."

They now began to use the shampoo to wash their hair. As Veronica washed her indigo blue hair, she looked even more concerned as she continued her questioning toward Raphael as he was washing his black hair.

(Veronica) "Then why didn't you tell me?"
(Raphael) "Didn't know I can trust you at first..."
(Veronica) "Really now?"

There was a long silence between them as they soaked off the shampoo after scratching their hair and cleaning it. They didn't talk for a while until Raphael sighed and began to say something.

(Raphael) "I'm sorry...Wait, what an idiot I am. I should've let you know about this in the first place...Then I didn't have to go through this..."

Veronica began to lean against Raphael's body, getting a feel of his strong and well-balanced body, staring at his brown eyes.

(Veronica) "Hmm, how about this? If you really want me to be your friend, to keep your family's secret a secret, and if you really want me to trust you..."

Veronica moved her mouth to Raphael's ear to the point where he and herself can hear it.

(Veronica) "Then let me kiss you..."

Raphael was stunned at first as he stared at Veronica's teal eyes. This was the first time that he didn't know what to do. But he figured it out eventually. As Veronica pressed Raphael to the wall softly, she stared at him for a while before she got closer...and closer...then...their mouths made contact with each other, as they realized they kissed each other...

(Present Day)

As Veronica opened her eyes a bit she could feel Raphael's hand on her indigo blue hair she looked up and said something.

(Veronica) "Have we left yet?"
(Raphael) "Not yet, but soon."

Two weeks ago
Alec sat on his hump of dirt sealed in place. "Haha, he'll be okay. He still has that speed." Alec said as the seal fell off. By this time Ashley had already left. "I wasn't able to speak to Ashley either." Alec stood up and stretched. "He'll tell me when he's ready, might as well get ready for tomorrow."


Present
Alec made his way onto the bus and noticed a fair amount of people have already made there way onto the bus. He began his walk towards the back of the bus and noticed Simone sitting around a couple of guy Alec once had to put in their place. He sat down beside her and sighed. "May I have this seat." He said looking over at Simone, "What are you reading?" Alec looked up and noticed that the guys were giving him dirty looks. "How are you fine young men today?" Alec said with a smile and reverted his attention back to Simone. " Roaming partners, you me, Ryker?"

[Nephilim]

Simone doesn't look up from her book and points to Ryker and Ashley sharing a seat in the very back of the bus, "You left one out," she stated as she finished her line of the book and then looked up at him. "think of how little Ashley would feel if she heard you left her out of anything considering she's alienated by most of the female and even a few of the male population for associating with you guys she might want to hurt you," she added with a laugh as she imagined Ashley strangling and then drop kicking Alec.

She blushed, "What am I reading?" she repeated the question out loud and then actually giggled, "It's a silly fairytale romance novel my aunt sent me. Normally I don't read these types of things but it's an ancient literature copy and she really wanted me to so I'm reading it." she explained as she saved er place and closed the book.

'Looks like you've made some new friends," Simone said with a sly smile as she glanced up at the guys around them all staring. "Did you beat them up once or something, they seem to have the intent to make you spontaneously combust with their glares." she laughed after she said that realizing the utter ridiculousness of her comment.

(OOC: Briefly for Nephilim and others).

Aamira stepped onto one of the buses, and briefly scanned the seating arrangements. After doing so, she made her way to the back of the bus, one medium-sized bag in hand, and sat down in the seat in front of Ashley’s.

Sighing, she looked out of the window at nothing more than the scenery the campus beheld, leaning against the cool glass of the window.

Thinking about what to do next, she began contemplating on pulling one of the books that she had brought along with her, out of her bag to read like many of the others were doing. She then thought about taking her back-pack off or maybe even talking to someone, but after a few passing moments, she decided against all of the above. Sitting there quietly was what she wanted to do.

She closed her eyes slightly as she let her thoughts begin to run amuck with flickering visuals that were constantly being produced by them.

“Hey what does it mean when you have the same nightmare over and over again?”

Somehow, this conversation piece had slipped through the barriers of Amira’s own thoughts and had caught her attention.

Sitting upright, Aamira opened her eyes and looked ahead of her, now slipping into deep thought.

As the many thoughts had begun to branch off from the question that Aamira had overheard, she began to question them with her own.

‘What could Ashley have meant by that?’ ‘Could it possibly mean something?’ ‘I wonder if I should say something...’ ‘Am I insane for even questioning it?’

These were a few that had crossed her mind, and she had tried everything that she could to stop thinking about it – it just felt too close to home.

Not being able to, Aamira grabbed the bag from her lap and stood from her seat.

Deciding not to question the girl behind her about what she had asked, she thought it best to ignore it, no matter how difficult it might have been, and just relocate to prevent future inquisition.

Well, at least for the bus ride.

Aamira moved up the isle in the opposite direction this time, and took a seat mid-center of the bus.

"How could I forget about Ryker's future life partner." Alec said laughing to himself. "Of course my little Ashley will come." Alec looked back at Ashley and smiled. "Oh, reading by request huh. I wish people could get me to do that." Simone then began to ask Alec about the boys that were sitting around them. He began to laugh, "Actually, I did." Alec looked at the boys and laughed again. "I don't think they like me very much."

Roandy looked out at the roaming surface with a bored face.

I'M SO ALOOOONE... Roandy thought jokingly in his head.

He then saw a familiar face pass by him and sat in a row in front of him.

Roandy poked his head over the back of Aamira's seat. "Yo, remember me?" Roandy said with a grin.

Frost made his way toward the bus and sighed, he didn't really want to sit next to anyone but he had to. He got on and saw Ashley sitting next to Ryker, Simone and Alec sitting next to each other as usual, Aamira was sitting by herself, and Roandy was sitting by himself. Frost wanted to ask Roandy a few questions and decided to sit next to him.
" We meet again." Frost said sitting down next to him, " I have a question I would like to ask you. Do you mind sparring with me when we get to our destination?"

Roandy poked his head over the back of Aamira’s seat. “Yo, remember me?” Roandy said with a grin.

Aamira about nearly jumped out of her seat when a boy suddenly poked his head over and started talking to her – she must have still been caught up in her thoughts still.

She turned to him then, narrowing her eyes and pursing her lips slightly as she did so.

“Of course I remember you.” She said before smacking him in the shoulder playfully.

“You scared me half to death. Do not ever do that again.” She said, a smile replacing the “pretend” look of anger that had once crossed her features.

Turning a little more in her seat, Aamira set herself up to face him more, for better engagement.

“So what have you been up to?” She asked, making small conversation.

“How do you like school and your courses so far? Have you made any new friends?”

Just then, Frost sat down next to him, pretty much answering her question about friends.

Aamira caught Frost's eyes with hers, and a wide grin spread across her face when it happened.

She then turned her attention back toward Roandy, almost instantaneously, as if nothing ever happened.

Regardless, maybe the questions would keep him talking for awhile. That would be best since she wasn’t quite sure what to say herself.

"Well, I'm making my way around the school a little better and friends I-" But Roandy interupted himself when Frost sat next to him.

" We meet again." Frost said sitting down next to him.

"Yes... yes we have..." Roandy said

" I have a question I would like to ask you. Do you mind sparring with me when we get to our destination?"

Roandy was almost caught off guard with the question, but immediatly answers, "Sure, I've been waiting to show my extent of my powers." Roandy said proudly.

He turns back to Aamira, "So... how's life going for you?" He asks Aamira.

It seemed like the past few weeks had flew by. In them he had been learning and coping. He eventually got back to talking to Ashley but he couldn't help feel like he had put some kind of wall up between them. He wsn't sure how to break it without doing what he wanted not to. So he let it remain for now. Hoping time would heal it up. Ryker sat next to Ashley in the bus. The most obvious pairing strangly. He was wearing a comfatable jacket and casual clothes for this trip. But he kept the upper part of his arms hidden for fear people might notice. Also for once he looked quite tired. Dark marks surrounded his eyes from a lack of sleep. It wasn't the first time and people often thought it was due to him working so hard all the time. In fact some girls told him it was cute. But this time it was for a lack of comfitable sleep. He just didn't let anyone know.

"Hey what does it mean when you have the same nightmare over and over again?"

"Never anything good." He replied, "It's best you find out what is bothering you and then find out a way of releasing it." He made himself more comfitable, "Otherwise it could eat you up." He said, instinctly putting his hand on his arm. He hid it by pretending to itch. "Why what happens in this nightmare?"

Ashley smiled at Ryker, "Oh.... well, it's about my past," she said as she looked at the back of the seat infront of her. She hadn't even divulged much of her past to him, he only knew that her parents were dead, he didn't know about how they died or Kaito or her village. She smiled someberly for a moment and noticed him itching his arm.

"Oh? Do you have a bug bite or something?" she asked as she reached out to look at his arm. "Lemme look..." she added.

Simone smiled up at Ryker and reached in her bag, "Do you dislike reading or something?" she asked as she twiddled around in her bag and put the other book up and brought out another one. this one was a scientific book on Astro-physics. "Doing things like reading books and doing puzzles daily helps your mind grow and stay sharp." she said as she opened the book and wrote something down in it.

Ryker

"Oh? Do you have a bug bite or something?" she asked as she reached out to look at his arm. "Lemme look..." she added.

He pulled his arm out of her reach and gently pushed her hand down.
"No thanks. It's nothing to worry about." He smiled at her, "But if something from your past is bothering you. Well...you can always talk about it." He mentioned. Then suddenly he felt the most piercing stare he had ever felt. He gave a quick glance to see it was the girl from before. She was glaring at Ashley like she was planning on killing her. It was then Ryker realised he still had his hand on Ashley's.
"Ha." He laughed to himself. "Ha ha." He then laughed outloud. The first time in awhile. It felt refreshing. He calmly pulled his hand from Ashleys'.
"Sorry about that. Looks like I accidently created you a new enemy. I guess you will need to watch yourself on this trip." He smiled at her. The whispered, "If you do want to talk I'd recommend not on this bus."

He then leaned back. He more relaxed all of a sudden. Maybe he ahd just been dreading things too much. He let out a relaxed sigh and put his arms behind his head.
"You know. I have the strangest feeling this trip won't be a quiet one."

[Nephilim]

Ashley frowned as he pulled away then as he mentioned her talking about her past. "It's a part of me I'll never forget something that made me me. Something I want to forget yet cling to remember," she explained solemnly. She smiled slightly when she noticed his hand was on hers and then laughed when he pulled it away noticing the girl from before.

She smiled as the girls glare grew a little when he leaned into to whisper to her. then she leaned into him and whispered in response, "I don't intend to discuss it here anyways, and just to bug that girl..." she trailed off and kissed Ryker's cheek with a light peck. She used the girl as an excuse and just really felt the need to show him affection for some reason because he seemed to care so much. she smiled smugly and waved at the girl whose eyeballs looked like they were about to burst from her head.

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost didn't show it but he was happy that he could fight Roandy, he felt his powers rise from the excitement of the fight. He looked at Aamira and stared at her, trying to figure out the extent of her powers.
" How's your stay here been?" Frost asked, " If you feel a little cold don't worry, that's me."
Frost lowered the temperature in the bus and saw smoke rise up from the floor. He controlled the smoke and forced it over to where Ashley was sitting.
" Let's see how Ashley likes this." Frost said with an evil grin

(Last Night)

As Raphael was pushed on to the bed by Veronica, he couldn't help but stare at her lustful eyes. He expected her to be strong but didn't expect her to be so beautiful to him. As she placed her hands on his face, Raphael and Veronica can feel each other's body. Strong, balanced, and smooth. They closed their eyes and began to kiss each other again.

(1 Hour and 30 Minutes Ago)

As Raphael woke up to the morning light, he could feel the warmth of his body as well as his, girl, friend, he can call it. Veronica was awaken by the chirping birds as well as his presence as well. She smiled to him as she looked at his bright brown eyes.

(Raphael) "Good morning, Veronica."
(Veronica) "Morning to you too, cutie."
(Raphael) "We still have that field trip to go on."
(Veronica) "Yeah, we better get ready."

Veronica stood up and swung her leg over Raphael and got out of bed with Raphael. They both did their morning routines and prepped for the trip ahead of them.

(Present Day)

Raphael began to get a cold feeling. Something isn't good. He knew immedietly who it was. Veronica was also disturbed by this and knew what was happening as well. They both nodded to each other and got out of their seats. Raphael left a pigeon or two on his seat to show it was occupied. Raphael walked up to Frost and placed his hand on his shoulder.

(Raphael) "Hold on there. You don't want to do that now. If you do, you know what will happen."

Veronica was right behind Raphael, knowing to protect him just in case something happened.

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost could feel the smoke on hers and Rykers legs, he smiled as he kept full concentration but it was broken by an interuption. He looked up and realized it was Raphael and Veronica.
" Remind me, what will happen if I don't stop?" Frost said secretly holding his sword handle, " Besides, I can control the smoke and it's not aimed at you."
Frost knew nothing about them but he knew they were strong and he simply grinned. If he fought them then he would be able to get stronger.
" Please go back to your seats." Frost said, " It's not wise to start a dispute here, it would be pointless."

[RoZo]

Roandy sat wide-eyed as he shivers a little, not only because of the cold, but also because of how Frost is acting.

How am I just sitting here watching this happen...

Roandy felt useless, just sitting there watching Frost probably freezing people who didn't do anything to him. Roandy lifted his hand as the claw turned dark. He held his claw up to Frost's neck. "I don't know what the hell is going on here, but I suggest you listen to them... and save it for our spar." Roandy says in a completely serious voice.

If he's gonna use that in a spar... then I know that this is more than a spar...

[Light Buster]

(Raphael) "You're right, we don't want a dispute, it's pointless. But at the same time, we don't want a bloody mess here. I advise you to take his suggestion. We don't want to have a dead body on this bus now, do we?"

Veronica was on her guard, preppared for the worse, but at the same time, hoped for the best. It wasn't a surprise to her to see Frost acting like that.

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost chuckled as Roandy put his claw up to his neck, he knew he could take all three but he was taught never to use his full ice ability.
" Three on one seems hardly fair." Frost said still chuckling, " Don't worry, Roandy, we'll still have our spar regardless of what happens here."
He turned to Raphael and Veronica and quickly stood up looking Raphael directly in the eyes.
" As for you two, I think that if a dead body were to be on the bus it certainly wouldn't be mine." Frost said calmly still holding on to his sword handle secretly, " Like I said, I control the smoke and it was directed at Ashley, my long term rival. If a fight's what you're looking for I suggest we settle it in the arena like warriors. I would rather fight one on one than three on one but if I have to I will show you the true extent of my abilities."
Frost's eyes started to glow as the bus got colder, he looked Raphael in the eyes and showed no fear. He looked at Veronica behind him and smiled.
" Veronica, I can tell that you want to help and I respect that." Frost said with a grin, " I want to ask you to please let us settle this without yours or Roandy's assisstance. I would appreciate it if you would listen to me."
Frost's arms turned purple and ice covered them, he was ready to attack if neccessary.
" You don't want to see a dead body on this bus, especially if it's yours."

Aamira was about to answer Roandy’s question when an argument (or was it a fight?) broke loose.

Sighing Aamira grabbed her bag from her lap and stood up again.

“Children.” She muttered under her breath before moving to the seat across from where she had previously moved to.

Moving around the bus so many times due to incompetent things was really beginning to get on Aamira’s nerves.

Not caring who, if anyone, was sitting there, she took her place upon her “new” seat…again.

(Specifically addressed Light Buster, RoZo, and the Rogue Devil)

Ashley got a chill and instantly shot up to see Frost getting into trouble with other students. "All of you chill!" she yelled as she started to walk forward. She hit veronica and Raphael up side the head, then Roandy, then Frost, noticeably harder than the others. "The bus is not a place to fight," she said as she scolded them all." She looked at Frost, "Don't do tricks that may set off people, messing with me is one thing affecting others is another."

She turned her gaze to Raphael and Veronica, "And you two! get a hang of your emotion, he was obviously not looking to start a fight and you guys over reacted!" she scolded them.

She looked finally at Roandy, "And you, don't threaten someone to try to stop violence it will only make it worse most of the time release him, and you two go back to your seats," she looked at Raphael and veronica with the last part and waited for all of them to do as she said. She hated being the one to break up fights and be the mother figure but she saw no choice in the matter none of the individuals were helping the matter.

[Light Buster]

As Rapahel and Veronica got a hit from Ashley, he heard what she had to say. Raphael then responded.

(Raphael and Veronica) "Okay, we're sorry, we just wanted to help calm things down here."

Raphael and Veronica looked at each other and Raphael.

(Raphael) "We're just worried about everyone's safety, even yours."
(Veronica) "I'm sorry...we just wanted to help..."

Veronica began to hold on to Raphael tightly as he embraced her. Raphael really wanted to slug Ashley but she had a point. And a very good one too.

(Raphael) "All right, we'll go back to our seats now. We apologize for any troubles we caused."

Veronica looked up at Raphael as they both walked back to theirs seats. The pigeons Raphael had recenlty placed were still there. He picked them up and gave them the way out as they flew up toward the sky. Veronica once again began to lean on Raphael, with cold emotions over her.

(Veronica) "Why? Why was she so mean to us?"
(Raphael) "It's because we overreacted. We made a mistake that we could've avoided...we should've known better..."

[Luzifer]

Shani sneered at the noisy people infront off him, but before he could unsheath his blade to impose his own brand of order, some obnoxious twat quieted them down for him. He sighed leaned back displeased, but didn't make a fuss. As long as the job got done he couldn't really complained, she did give the brats a good smack, though he would have made sure they broke a few bones as well.

[RoZo]

Roandy, after being hit on the head, realizes what he could've done...

"Sorry..." Roandy said briefly. He couldn't look at anyone in the eye, much less himself. He hangs his head in shame, looking at the ground.

I think I've lost allies in seconds. *Sigh*

Roandy then puts his focus back on Frost.

That technique... He'll most likely use that in our spar... I'll have to be extra careful about him...

[Light Buster]

Raphael and Veronica felt uneasy on what just went down. They did more harm than good. Veronica looked back up toward Raphael as she kissed him in the cheek. Raphael kissed her back in the forehead.

(Veronica) "I just want to help someone..."
(Raphael) "Don't worry, you'll get your chance..."

They both fell asleep in a deep slumber, hopefully leaving the worst behind them.

(Veronica - 12 years ago)

As Veronica's body and brain statues was being checked up and maintain, her father couldn't help think how will her daughter will react to her if she found out about the project. He continued to examine her body on a holographic screen. The screen showed no signs of anything wrong.

(Screen) Subject body normal. Senses normal. Brain normal.
(Veronica's Father) "So far so good. No abnormalities yet."

He closed the screen and looked out the observastion window. Veronica was on a bright white table. The table was scanning her body for abnormalities and any unexpected changes in her body. She was still unaware of the project that was meant to save her life. But she will know about it, in time...

(Raphael - 12 years ago)

Raphael ran across the rooftops of the buildings, in search for his person. It was urgent that he had to deliver the package to the man before nightfall and return to his parents. Luckly, when he looked down, his man was right there. As Raphael leaped down on the boxes, he made his way over and tapped him on the hip. He turned around and looked down to see him with his package.

(Man) "Ah, you must be the delivery boy, Raphael right?"
(Raphael) "Yes sir."

Raphael held out the package as the man proudly took it from them.

(Man) "Thank you Raphael. You better get back to your parents. They'll be pleased that you finished the job."
(Raphael) "You're welcome. See you later."

Raphael began to run back through the alleys and back to his house. His house wasn't far off, it was somewhere in the inside part of the city, not too hard to find. As he arrived at his house, he knocked on the door and waited for an answer. The door opened to find his dad, in black and brown eyes, waiting for him, happy to see that his work is done.

(Raphael's Father) "Impressive work. As expected from you, a job well done."

[The Rogue Devil]

Frost got smacked hard but he didn't get mad, he had originally told him that he controlled it and aimed it at Ashley. He scratched his head and a sour look had spread across his face.
" Why'd you hit me for?" Frost asked, " I didn't even start it! I guess what happened is all in the past now."
He sighed and quickly hit Ashley in the arm, not too hard, and sat back down. He saw Roandy looking down and decided to cheer him up the best way he knew how.
" You got a lot of courage to put that claw of yours near my neck." Frost said putting his cold hand up to his, " I guess I can return the favor."
He chuckled and noticed Ashley goig back to her seat.
" Hey Ashley, where are we going?"

Ashley looked back at Frost, "Don't you ever listen to what announcements are said in meetings?" she scolded him again and put her hands on her hips and sighed. "We're going to the trade capital of all the races, Doodsfall." she responded. Then she looked out the window at the passing terrain, they were going through a small town right now she got a feel for where they were from memory, smiled, and looked back at Frost. "We're only about a a third of the way from there, so we should get there in an hour or so." she added as she walked back and sat back down in her seat.

Put off by the display of effection Ryker didn't even notice as things started to go wrong again. It was luck that had Ashley sort it but he felt she went about it the wrong way. He sighed to himself thinking how he had just mentioned things wouldn't go quiet. He pulled himself out of his seat as Ashley returned. He laid a hand on her shoulder.
"Ashley." He said loud enough for th others to hear. "You shouldn't have resolved it that way. I believe you should say sorry to them all." He then looked up and down the bus.
"However that was a stupid amount of bloodlust that filled the bus there. To many of you were willing to fight over something silly." He shook his head, "I hope that none of you will resort to something that if the same happens when we arrive. If any of you are want that then I know of a few seniors that would be more the happy to allow you to vent on them. So long as they can fight back at full." He turned to sit back down, his head feeling heavy. Was standing always that hard?

"I have no need to...." Ashley was starting to protest after Ryker had scolded her for scolding the others but she stopped when she saw his posture.

"Sorry everyone," she said loud enough for everyone to hear and then she returned her attention to Ryker.

"Oh, it's seems Ryker isn't in the best of spirits," Simone said to Alec as she glanced back at Ryker and Ashley.

She frowned a bit and looked at Ryker worriedly. She sunk back down in her seat and spoke softly so only he could her hear. "You've been acting off lately still. Like you're hiding something.... it's not good to keep things pent up, trust me I know. Ryker...... don't lock everyone out, you have friends that care about you. You don't have to tell me what's wrong but at least tell someone. Hiding it from all your friends is only going to make everything worse, and I don't like seeing you so off..." she twiddled her fingers as she looked down at her lap.

The buses were in a big city now, they came to a stop in front of a large extravagant building. The building was none other than the hotel the students would be staying in for their trip. Everyone stepped out and followed the procedure they had been prepped on up arriving. As the students stepped off the bus they were given pamphlets that had maps of the city, schedules for days they would be doing things as a group and off days, places of interest, safety procedures, meeting places, and room keys.

"Alright guys go to your rooms and get situated, your schedules should indicate that all the rest of today is an off day for you to group up and explore the city. stay out of trouble and enjoy yourselves. The room numbers of the staff members that are chaperoning are listed, if any of you need help just find one of us, that's all!" Mine said cheerily to the students and then she walked off muttering something about finding where Syora had gone.

Ashley walked off with the rest of the students and found her room, it was on the sixteenth floor, the top floor. "Figures I get a room on the top floor." she said cheerily as she walked in. she looked around to see someone had already started to unpack their things, she heard a ruffling and looked in the closet to see Simone.

"Oh hello Simone looks like we're roomies for this trip," Ashley said happily as she threw her bags on her bed and started unpacking as well.

"Haha that it does," Simone responded as she continued to unpack her things. Then after a while she and Ashley finished and headed down stairs. They made it into the lobby and started to look for other people. "I have no one in particular I'm looking for but I'll keep an eye out for Ryker for you," Simone stated as she looked around.

"Wha why would you assume that I..." Ashley was going to act as though he wasn't who she was looking for, but upon seeing Simone's expression she sighed a sigh of defeat and nodded a thanks to her."

"Mi'Lord, HE has arrived in Doodsfall," a lowly grunt said as he entered a room. It was large in size, dimly lit with the smell of incense. A large desk could barely be made out and a figure was siting in a chair behind the desk.

"Good, send him a message with these instructions," the figure said. A dark shadow reached out with a piece of paper inside it and dropped it in the hands of the grunt. It read:

"I want you to seek out the students of the school of Doodsfall. Monitor them any of them that appear capable of any service to me I want you to test their strength. I'll trust your judgment on weather or not they are worthy.

Also, the meeting of the Wolfkin clan's council will be held just outside of Doodsfall tonight. Let's send them a proper greeting, I want it to be obvious who did it, with no physical evidence to prove it though. Use your imagination.

The grunt left and tied the parchment to the leg of a bat and it flew off. It flew at an ungodly speed and within an hour arrived in Doodsfall. It searched the city from above and then swooped down into and alley, Landing on the shoulder of a man.

Roandy walked out of the bus, amazed at the sights in front of him.

Wow, so this is Doodsfall. Amazing, simply amazing...

But Roandy knew he had something bigger to deal with... his spar with Frost. But a little free time wouldn't hurt. Roandy looked around for someone to group up with...

X stood in an alley, which was covered in thick purple fog. "Hey, you!" a thug with a small bag of stolen goods said, with him was his two cronies. X opened his eyes.

Who dares to wake me from my slumber! X thought as he woke angrily to the three thugs.

"We don't like your kind around our turf. Get 'im boys!" The thug points at X as the two cronies charged at him. X's sadistic smile shined through his face. He slashes the cronies with a Poison Slash, the thugs fell, grasping their wounds. X stares at the leader, "So you wanna try too?" he says with satisfaction. The thugs runs away. X turns and catches the bat, "Keh, too slow..." X then notices a note, he opens it and reads it:

Frost decided to be by himself for the time being to vent and calm himself down. He has always had trouble calming down after something like that and it could really take its toll on him.
" I wonder what I'll do for now." Frost said after getting to his room, " I need to find out if Uncle Rex is in the city."
He got his room situated and stepped out to explore the city on his own.

Atop of a roof from a low building, X stands with his arms crossed, smiling. "Well well well, looks like we have a loner here folks." X says sinisterly. X's wings start to flap and X floats to the sky. X takes a deep breath and then blows out a purple smog headed towards Frost, surrounding him.

Let's see if he's strong enough to withstand me, heheheh...

Frost enjoyed the time by himself but was interrupted by a purple smog that suddenly surrounded him. He didn't breathe and forced the smog to fade away by freezing some of the moisture in the air and creating smoke to overpower it. He sighed with relief and continued onward watching for anything that could bother him.
" Someone is here but I can't reach them just yet." Frost saidsecretly holding his sword handle, " If I can get him into my range i can take him out but first, where is he?"

"Right behind you fool." X says, all of a sudden being behind Frost. He raises his Stinger Blade and hits Frost with a Poison Slash. X then jumps backwards moving far away Frost, "All too easy, I thought you were stronger than that." X taunts Frost, hoping to provoke Frost to raise his powers more...

" The fool is none other than you." Frost said as ice shattered where the man had attacked him, " If you wanted a fight, all you had to do is ask."
Frost channeled his energy and everything around him started to freeze over, including his sword handle. He created a blade with it and made sure it wouldn't break.
" Who are you and what business do you have with me?" Frost said swinging his sword at the man, " I don't know who you are but you just ruined my only peaceful moment I might have!"

X stood as he saw whatever technique Frost had just used, impressed already.

Keh... I'm already impressed so far, but now for the real test...

X was prepared for whatever Frost had coming for him. "C'mon, hit me with whatever you got!!!" X yelled meniacally.

Frost swung his sword with precison and grace, he wasn't about to let some unknown fighter beat him. He decided to change it up and used the sword like a whip. He forced the ice to thaw and he used the water as the whip part. Everything that he touched had instantly froze over.
" Big mistake in doubting my abilities." Frost said as he disappeared in the smoke, " I'll see you in the afterlife."
He reappeared and swung the whip down as hard as he could hoping to instantly freeze his opponent over so he could leave.

Alec stepped off of the bus and stretched, "Well I guess I'll find my room." Alec went up to floor 3 and found his room. He set his things down and went back to the base floor. "I wonder what I'm going to do for my free day." Alec looked around the room. "Let's see who wants to spend their free day with me." Alec said moving towards the front door.

Shani looked at the building with clear displeasure. He would have preferred to work in a church and slept there but the administration clearly wanted their ducks in a row. He preferred the spartan simplicity of the church floor but that was how he was raised in the monastery. No more than what was needed.

He got the key to his roomed, 137 but didn't go up to it immediately. He had no bags or anything to deposit there. What he needed he wore. Instead, he sat outside the door to the hotel and meditated with his great sword cross his lap. His face was hidden and his eyes were barely open. His eyes watched the world through fog while his mind drifted into darkness.

As Frost used the whip to hit X, X lifted his right arm, letting the whip hit his arm. "You look confused, boy. I should thank you though..." X says slyly. He lifts up the frozen arm to his Blade, sliding the frozen hand across the blade as the Stinger Blade turns into a huge ice shard. "You see, when an individual hits me with certain attacks, I aquire them..." X says, he then laughs out, "Well then let the show begin!!!" X breaths in deep and blows out a greener gas, more poisonous than the Dark Fog...

Roandy searches for a partner (or partners) so he wouldn't have to be bored. Roandy then saw a boy in search for a partner.

Heh, I hope he can keep up a conversation... Roandy thought as he walked to the boy. "What's up, I'm Roandy Zorrilla, wanna be partners?" he says holding out his hand for a handshake...

Raphael stepped off the bus and noted an eagle in the sky, again. What did his parents want now? As the eagle landed on his left shoulder, Raphael held out his left hand and the eagle dropped a piece of paper into his hands. The eagle then flew back into the sky and back on to its flight path. Raphael then unrolled the page and the description of it was more serious than it was with the others.

Raphael rolled up the page and stuck it in his pocket. This was weird. A new faction? Hiring people? To do what? That didn't matter at the moment. Only getting Veronica and himself to their room and safety was their top priority.

Veronica stepped out of the bus and she began to yawn. She got a glimps of the city of trade, Doodsfall. It was a beauty in her eyes and she couldn't wait to explore it.

(Veronica) "Wow, this is Doodsfall? It's so beautiful!"
(Raphael) "You can say that again?"
(Veronica) "How about we explore the city?"
(Raphael) "Just to be safe, I think we should check out our room first."
(Veronica) "Come on sissy, are you afriad?"
(Raphael) "Afraid of something happening to us..."
(Veronica) "Oh sure, something will come out and attack us and-"

Veronica was interuppted by something in her head. Her teal eyes suddenly went blank and she was now standing in one position, motionless.

(Raphael) "Veronica, Veronica, Veronica?!"

Veronica wanted to speak to Raphael but something wouldn't let her, something was blocking her from talking to him. Was it her corrupted chip? Couldn't be. That is, until she began to see letters. As they formed, they began to make a sentence. More of them began to show up, as if her mind was telling her something.

Veronica, there is a group of people that are hostile. Your life can be in danger. You are not to engage with them in any way. This is a direct order. Head to your room and wait there until it safe...

Just then, the words disappeared and her eyes began to gain life again. She suddenly saw her friend, Raphael, starring at her and shaking her until she shook her head.

(Veronica) "I saw something...like it was warning me that the streets are not safe."
(Raphael) "Just as I thought, they aren't. Let's head to our room."

Veronica nodded and they both headed to their room without haste. They got their room key and headed toward the 3rd floor and entered their room, 350. This room overlooked the front of the hotel. They quickly noted the key features of the room and unpacked their belongings, waiting for their sign to move again...

Frost couldn't believe it and was stunned. He got himself back together and noticed the man spewed a green fog out of his mouth that looked worse than the other fog.
" Damn, I never expected this to happen." Frost said, " I'll still fight until I can't anymore."
Frost was taught never to use the full extent of his raw power because he couldn't control it but he figured now was a good time to do it. He sighed and his breath was visible. His body turned purple and his lips turned blue, every step he took the ground under him froze.
" I guess I have no choice but to go full strength." Frost said freezing the fog, " Your fogs are nothing against me now."
Frost raised his left hand up and shot an ice blast the size of his body at the man.

X just stared at the ice chunk and slashed at it with his ice shard blade. "Hmph, pitiful... I expected more out of that strange and colorful beast. But you might serve Lord well." X says as he jumps closer to the "deformed" Frost. He blows more poison fog, knowing that he can't freeze it if he wants to trap himself. As the fog is covering the whitish-blue surface, X skillfully moves behind Frost and slashes him using a parilyzer...

Frost saw the fog surrounding him and instantly froze it, since it was in that state he can control it freely. He stopped the attack from behind by forcing the ice to cover his entire backside and he jumped out of the way.
" Pitiful?" Frost said with a little annoyance in his voice, " Like I said, your fog attacks have no affect on me and I can control it freely and just like that wierd weapon of yours."
He focused on the weapon and forced it on the ground with his full powers awakened. Frost sighed and faded into the ice.
" I've had fun but I must go now." Frost said as the ice melted, " I'll fight with you later."

As Raphael and Veronica looked outside of the opened window from a distance, waiting for their signal. They waited for a while until an eagle showed up, clinging onto the window sill with a page in its beak.

(Raphael) "Veronica, I think this is our signal-"

Veronica once again was motionless and blank. He couldn't make contact with her, again. While this was happening, the eagle opened the page itself and showed it to Raphael while something in Veronica's mind began to tell her something. The page was longer and it contained a map of the city, Doodsfall. There was a 'X' mark on the map. Both the page and Veronica's mind had something similar.

Raphael, we've decided to meet in a secret place where no one can track us. You have been provided a map to this location. You are to pack your stuff and head there, you'll be staying with us for the remainder of the trip. Use your abilities, avoid contact with the unknown faction members and leader, and make your way over to the location. Once you get there, wait for us to answer. One more thing, bring your friend too, she is also important to our family's business and so are you.

Veronica, it's time for you to move. A map of the capital of trades, Doodsfall, is being uploaded to your memory bank. You are to pack up and roll out of your room and proceed there immedietly. Do not engage with hostile faction members and leader. It is imperative that you get there quickly and with speed. Once you arrived at the target location, wait at the door for us to answer. Another thing that you should note, make sure that your friend is with you, alive, and well when you arrive. He is someone that we can trust and so can you.

As Veronica's mind was gaining life again, Raphael grapped the map from the eagle and it soared back up into the sky. As Veronica gain the ability to move again, she looked at Raphael as he looked back at her. They were silent for a moment or two before they spoke again.

(Veronica and Raphael) "We need to go in the city and meet someone."

They stopped again and Veronica spoke first.

(Veronica) "I don't know if we should go there first. I don't know who he or she is. I'm not sure if we can trust this person."
(Raphael) "We're still good to go. I've been getting most of my errands done for my family. I have a family eagle that always sends my jobs. I'm pretty sure that this is my parent's doing."
(Veronica) "I'm not sure if my family is involved in some way. I don't know if your family is able to trust me..."

Raphael walked up to Veronica and gave her a hug that she'd never forget.

(Raphael) "Don't worry, we'll find a way to work this out. I'm sure of it."

Veronica was worried at first but then she formed a serious expression on her face, showing her that she was ready to face anything.

(Veronica) "Okay, let's pack up and get out of here."
(Raphael) "That's my girl. Okay, we better make it quick. They maybe already on to us."
(Veronica) "Right."

Veronica and Raphael began to pack their bags and leave their room. They left the hotel and immedietly started to move with a nearby crowd, staying blended from the new hostiles.

X stood as Frost has moven away from X's grasp, "Keh, he got away, oh well, I tested his strength and I saw the demon side of him. I might as well report this to Lord." X says. He jumps in the air and then flew to an undisclosed location. He then walks up to a shadowy figure.

"Lord, I have finished fighting the ice boy and I saw a pretty peculiar technique. The boy turned into somewhat of an ice demon. I couldn't catch him, but we should keep an eye on him and his ice powers..."

[Nephilim]

Lord smiled behind the shadows a maniacal plotting smile. "Good, now I want you to test the seniors Alec and Ryker. If anyone else is with them feel free to test them as well," Lord said then he sent X away.

"Frost demon eh? ....Interesting...." he thought as he seemed to grab a quail pen and wrote something down into a red ink that seemed to seep and disappear into the parchment.

Simone touched Ashley's shoulder and then pointed in a direction "I believe I saw Ryker over there Ashley," she said. Ashley quickly ran off in the direction and then Simone smiled and let out a soft chuckle. she looked over to see students getting partners to travel with and then saw Alec and the boy Roandy greeting each other. "It seems everyone is getting along nicely now, .... hmmmmm I wonder what books are in the Grand Library..." she thought to herself as she walked out of the building on her way to the library despite not having a partner.

Ashley looked around for Ryker and sighed when she didn't find him. "Bleh! I don't wanna stand around all day waiting for someone to look for," she said as she left the lobby and went out walking. She marveled at the sites. She went to the Xoronian Tower, the tallest structure to date in the world and went to the top. It seemed you could see the whole city in its beauty from there. She smiled as she put some coins into a telescope and looked around. As she was looking she felt someone's hand traces across her leg just where her skirt ended and then the telescope was blocked out before she could pull her head away from it. She pulled away and looked up to see three guys standing around her.

"Hey cutie, hows about you, me, and mah friends here has a little fun together? We can 'tour the cites," he said with emphasis on the last part. one of the guys grabbed her arm after that She blank out for a moment and when she came back to reality she was in the elevator. The man had removed his hand from her and they all smiled.

"See our friend that grabbed you has the ability to bind you with his mind and make you unable to respond to anything physical that happens around you," the man that spoke before said.

"I know I shouldn't fight, specially not with any of my summons, and I don't want to attract negative attention and have it fall back on the school, it's bad enough I got impatient and left without a partner," she thought as the elevator went down more and more. She bit her lip, as the door opened to the ground below the man that grabbed her before reached out for her, she moved away from his hand then, using her open palm, she hit him in the nose and broke it. The guy feel back wards and she jumped over him and started running.

The other men chased her and it seemed as though and on lookers who took notice thought they were kids just racing. "Oh crud oh crud oh crud oh crud," was all Ashley could think, she knew that the men had the upper hand, they were apparently faster than her and gaining on her and knew the city much better. She ran into an alleyway thinking she could summon there and went to grab her Book of necromancy. her eyes got wide, "oh no...." she cursed at herself as she remembered placing the book on her bed and then leaving with out it. "Without my book I don't have the energy concentration to summon, or the tools to use any of my skills....." she thought as she hid in the shadows of the alley as the now two men walked slowly in trying to find her.

One of the men that was trailing Ashley collapsed to the ground blood oozing from his temple. Shani sighed, his sword gripped in his hands like a hammer, with his hand holding the blade. "Sinful maggots." he muttered as the remaining man turned to face him, but Shani wasn't willing about to let him recover, moving his blade over in his hands to strike with the blade and cut deep into his opponent arm.

His opponent backed up and Shani set himself down into a proper stance in case his opponent decided to fight. He didn't and turned to run. But Shani didn't let criminals escape and before he could get far, brought him down by reaching the cross-guards of his sword around his opponents neck, and clothesline him. The young man struggled for breath only a moment, before Shani kicked him brutally in the skull to knock him out.

He returned to where the girl was, "Come out here... now!" his tone was icy and lecturing. Clearly having a problem with the girl just as much as the men he had just incapacitated.

~A Short While Ago~

Shani meditate calmly in front of the hotel entrance. He wasn't paying too much attention to the trifling affairs of the world, but eventually, two girls (Simone and Ashley) came out in quick succession. They went to different ways and as soon as they did Shani stood up, knowing his duty. Both of those girl were not supposed to leave without a parter... he would have to track both girls down and return them to the hotel. But only after punishing them for ignoring their elders.

He decided to follow Ashley first, since Simone didn't seem much like the girl who would get in trouble. Besides, he heard Simone mumbling about the "Grand Library" so he would know where to find her.

Frost managed to get away but the attack the man used had barely scratched him. He reverted back to his original form and and realized that his movements were sluggish. He walked into an alley and saw two men looking for something, he noticed Ashley and secretly sent a thin line of smoke at her to tell her he was there.
" I don't know what those guys are after but I think Ashley is involved." Frost said to himself, " I'm not in any condition to fight but I can still scare them away."
He stood there waiting for the men or Ashley to notice him.The smoke didn't make it as he saw another man take out the other two and he was relieved. He needed a partner since he was in no condition to move on his own. He sluggishly walked over to them and leaned on Ashley.
" I'm glad you're safe." Frost said barely standing on his own, "I need to go back to the hotel."

Ashley watched from the shadows as the man she knew as Shani took care of the other two men that had followed her. Surprised slightly more because of his brutality than his strength. "This guy acts like he has all right to be ruthless, the man was about to run he should have just let him go...." she thought. Shani calling for her to come out the interrupted her thoughts.

She frowned and walked out from the shadows and looked up at Shani. Instantly she spoke her mind before he could say anything, "Your punishment was unfit for their crime! Don't deliver your form of justice if it is unjust!" she said sternly looking up at him. He of course was very intimidating to her without even trying to be, but she didn't falter. She looked at him with an equal sternness in her eyes and a frown of disapproval by his actions, "I appreciate you helping me but how you handled it went wrong and I'd rather still be trying to figure out how to get away from them than had you save me if I knew that's how you were to go about it!"

Rapahel and Veronica were on the move quickly, avoiding making a conversation with anyone in the city. In Raphael's vision, he saw the world as a black outline again while he his foes in red, he followed a snow white trail that should lead to his destination. As Veronica opened her eyes to see the world in front of her, she saw her enemies outlined in red and her mind registered them as an enemy. Her mind also opened up the map of Doodsfall and marked her destination with a white dot. They used their abilities and made their way toward their destination without attracting too much attention.

As they attracted little to no attention at all in the city, they finally made it to their destination without having to pick a fight, a mansion in a middle of the city. They looked around for any followers they might've followed them from behind but after looking for sometime, Raphael and Veronica knocked on the door at the same time and waited for an answer. Then, they heard something from the door slide out and look at them for a while, then a beam of some sort began to move up and down on their bodies, as if they were being scanned for identity or something. After a while there was a click in the door and Raphael placed his hands on the door. Veronica nodded at him as he did the same to her. He turned the knob and opened the door. They went inside and closed the door as the door locked itself back up.

[Luzifer]

"Odd" Shani replied, "I don't believe I care what you think about justice. I'm sure your tune would have been different if I hadn't been here to stop them from gang raping you Regardless, they are going to live... which is more than I have to grant them." He talked down to her with comfortable ease, not impressed by her show of valor.

"But you, child, you aren't getting out of this scot free either. As I recall you aren't allowed to wander the city without a partner, so you are to march back to the hotel, and you will not be eating anything until dinner, tomorrow, as penance. Now... I have to track down that Simone woman and get her back to the fold so I have no time for your childish prattling."

[Nephilim]

"I refuse to listen to someone overzealous like you! I'm not a follower of your beliefs!" Ashley spat the words out at him and then she said calmly smiling smugly. "Besides, why don't you go punish yourself, to get to me you left to hotel with out partner... Don't be so hypocritical, but I'm sure if your god cares that much about an individual that he or she can't break a rule why don't you fall to your knees and beg for forgiveness and repent in front of some holy altar!" she said.

"I have no faith to be heard and your words don't bother me, talk down to me all you want, you're the empty shell of a little boy who's blinded by his own mislead beliefs of something that isn't there," Ashley said still not budging, her resolve was clear now.

Shani chuckled as she got childishly stubborn, "You think I won't? I will do firm penance and will not eat tomorrow's dinner as well, not to mention some other punishments. But I am no hypocrite. I sin, yes, but that is because this world we live in is inexorably stained with Leelana's sin. Immorality is the currency of this world, and if I am to do anything I must trade in it. I'm not like my brothers... I will not stand aside, and be content as the world writhes in disgusting anguish while I sit, neat and clean in some ivory tower." His voice was biting and filled with his frustration, both at Lylum and the monastery. Everything that just want to sit and let the sin of this world continue, like an ignored cancer.

"And you are coming back to the hotel, if I have to drag your unconscious body."

Ashley listened to what she would describe as Shani ranting and then chimed in, "Sounds like a personal problem to me." Then Shani some what threatened her to return to the hotel...

"You won't put a hand on me!" Ashley was about to say something else when Frost emerge and leaned on her. He was injured and all her anger disappeared. "Wow, Frost, what happened to you?" she asked as she shifted her weight to hold his a little better. "Did you bite off more than you could chew again?" she teased trying to lighten the mood a little.
