Opening & Closing statements

You're writing your autobiography, what is your opening statement and the last line in your conclusion?

Oh, and let's not forget that begining your conclusion with "In conclusion.." is fail. (I had an english teacher that I would do that on purpose all the time just to annoy her. lol)

closer: i finally built my skyscraper. maybe it won't stay there forever, but everyone who saw it will remember it...

Opening Statement: There was this young man. He was very skilled with computers. He did it all from building them to building a popular website for everyone to enjoy.

Closing Statement: He has now a large popular web community with people whom share many interests in varus things. He is happy and clad to have succeeded in his dreams.

This probably is not very good but I am a noob at writing stuff like this I am better with stories.
