Your first one is good, although it bothers me because there's so much going on that it's hard to know where the focus point of the signature is. Still, very nice.
The second one came out better, although try changing the border. As for the text, either move it or change the color. The lighting could also be worked on, too many things are highlighted and it makes the left side of his face seem weird.
Overall, great job!
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

for this one i was just trying out splatter brush and some other effex. Ya i know its a bit bright xD ill work on lighting on the next sig :)

hmmmmm pretty good. Work on your flow + depth. as for the brighter sig,that txt placement needs to get better. either make it go along with the sig or place it near the render so the focal isn't disrupted. Oh idk if you CS2 or CS3 (or any other versions >.>) but when you make a web image make sure its on JPEG not gif its higher quality, some of the sigs seem pixelated @_@. keep at it though

Your signatures have too much contrast in them and it is really hard to really see what is being made as a focus.
You've got to realize that while dark signatures are nice, you've got to at least make sure that people can see what subject you're trying to emphasize.
Some of them seem to have too much grunge all over the place and makes it highly unattractive.
Then some of them seem over sharpened.
Try different tutorials and learn how to create flow.
Your signatures have too much static.
Once you can pull those off, I'm sure you can make decent signatures.

that c4d on the right is not adding the flow try using a different one. to me it seems alrite. That's not empty space imo.

Interesting sigs. I especially like the one you are using now and the sig from post #11. However, I agree that the contrast seems very high - the sigs are in some cases too bright, like your lighting is overexposed.

Your new sig is pretty good - maybe change some of the white in the background to another color for some depth, and you might try darkening the character's face - he's blending too much into the background because he's pretty white.

I like the grunge feel you are using, and your colors look really nice - nice sig in post#16! ^^ I like the text in that one the best.

thanks for the advice ive been trying to work on depth but i dont really get it xD same with the brightness, i know how i can solve the contrast problem after watching a tut recently :)

All of them too blur, not enough clarity in any of them.

If don't like working with light signature, just do everything the same until the last layers and use an applied images layer to change the color scheme. Your signatures are always either too bright or too dark, toooooooooooooo much contrast in all of them D;

I see you've come quite a ways. :]
Some are a lot better than others.
I noticed a lot of them are really dark and others real bright. :/
Try.. in between? lol

Maybe make the sig a little bit smaller or throw in a cd4 or something to fill the spot.
I also seems kinda blurry, you need to focus a little more on the focal point of the sig. I noticed that with a few of your others.
Overall, You have a lot of talent!! Keep posting. ^__^
P.S I love your current set, try to blend the render a little more though.

I found it in my pictures file. its from a long time ago, i think it was my only attempt at using a stock image in a sig.

ya most of my sigs are hit and miss (mostly miss) but i kinda like bright sigs, just need to work on not making em too bright xD.

I do the same thing when im making sigs, I always make them too bright. I just make a layer and fill it with black or gray and lower the opacity until its just right.

lol my sigs need alot of improvement and its nice to get some criticism so i can work on it on another sig.
