price tag on this was 59.99 + 9.50 shipping. so almost 70 bucks for a power a decent power supply

1 ssd 64gb drive for the os and other programs

1 5750 sapphire gpu

all this runs nice on a bfg 550w modular psu from bestbuy for 89.99

You get what you pay for. And wattage can be deceiving. A cheap high watt PSU typically perform worse than an expensive low-watt PSU. I'm currently using a relatively pretty pricey Tagan 500W PSU. I could never get my system to run on a generic 800W PSU.
