[Help - iPod] How to transfer music from iPod to Mac?

Hey thar, ^_^;

I've been trying to figure out how to put my iPod-songs onto my Mac again, seeing I recently bought a mac and before that the whole library was on my old PC, which unfortunately, crashed and died.
I also recently bought an ipod Touch, so I want to put my iPod songs, onto my Mac again, so I can put them on my iTouch.

I've tried several programs and googled, but they're all .exe's and most of Google's searches refer me to those programs. Anyone know a program for Macs?

You can search for the hidden file in your ipod.

Only if had it in disk mode, and it isn't guaranteed to work on the Mac.
Apple is using a kernel extension to hide folders in the iPod and can't be shown, not even in the Terminal, or at least that how it was for me.
It works on Windows, though.

Is the iPod formatted as Mac or Windows?
If it is formatted as Windows, what bayamesa posted should work.

I guess for Windows, but now that I have a Mac, I'm afraid it won't.

I use floola (http://www.floola.com/modules/wiwimod/). You install on your pc or mac and itll set itself up to your ipod. You can copy music to your ipod with it or take music off it. As well as that you can copy the program to your ipod when its in disk mode. This lets you launch it from anyones computer and you can take or give music as you see fit. Defiantly one of my favorite programs.

What I do, is I always back up my music/games/apps from iPhone (either or iPod) to my MAC and vice versa with an external hard drive. It's pretty sweet since I'm always on the go, and I will never know when I have to emergency reset my iPhone, and giving it a chance to lose all my music and games. Gladly it hasnt happened before but an investment on an external hard drive is well worth it.
