Instead of boring you with old christmas facts, I would like to inform everyone that christmas is around the corner! Well I already know everyone doesn't celebrate this holiday so please just hold on a little longer.

I celebrate christmas / I plan to eat food with my family and open presents / I'm an honest man, of course its about being with your family.

1) YES I DO. WITH PLEASURE TOO.

2) Spend time with the fam. Decorate my tree, and eat alot of food, Attend plays/performances/musicals some of my family member's will take part in, shovel my front yard, and make snow angels. Also drink some hot cocoa. For some reason, its the only time of the year I bother drinking any.

3) .... If I didn't celebrate Christmas, I would celebrate Thanksgiving or New years.

4) Oh we be celebratin' partner.

True meaning to me: Christ's birth and Hope for the future. Hey I still got the hope regardless of what happens in the future. Cuz I'm fearless like that. Or hopeful....

Yes i celebrate Christmas.As far as plans go i am still a minor so my parents make me tag along with them.Usually that means Christmas dinner with the family.

All i want for Christmas is a 16gb ipod touch and my subscription renewed to Rolling Stone Magazine.

christmas was banned in england in the 1600's because it was more of a mardi gras type holiday where ppl wore costumes and partyed in the streets.than in 1800's christians used a german holiday to base it on.

There's a bunch of other things as well.

He practiced my rituals and things and I did so for him. Celebrations outside of Paganism I don't generally celebrate. Pagan celebrations keep you busy enough [between Sabbats and Esbats]. xD

I celebrate Christmas. It is a very fun holiday although i hate what the commercialism has made it into. I celebrate it by going to church with my family and friends to worship and have fun. Some of my friends usually go out to homeless shelters and give a helping hand. I spend a lot of time with my family since now i am at college and every days means a lot. For me, i know you guys hate this, but i get excited because it is the celebration of the birth of our lord. I know it is not the exact date, but i get so excited about it :)

I'm not all that much into celebrating any particular holidays or anything like that. If it's just another excuse for me to have a good time and give those few people who mean the world to me a small bit of happiness; all the better. :cool:

Do you celebrate Christmas? Usually. I may not this year. I don't want to spend the money and gas to make a road trip to see family that I don't care that much about. I can't afford to go home, either. I will probably volunteer to work so others can be home with their families. Mine is 1500 miles away.

The things I want cannot be bought by anyone but me [firearms, specific electronics, etc]. If I receive any gift, I prefer it to be money. I'd just as soon not get anything, or a plane ticket home to see my parents and dogs. On one side of the family, I have an uncle that lives in town, an aunt I haven't seen in 15 years and don't really know, and some cousins that I don't really know. Everyone else is dead. On the other side, everyone is alive and kicking, but live far away from me. I'm thinking I might go see grandparents when I get vacation from work. Right now, I want to see my parents and play with my dogs, but it's not going to happen. I didn't even celebrate my birthday this year. No cake. No beers. I didn't tell anyone it was my birthday.

Other holidays, like Easter, generally get ignored. I don't care about the commercial aspect of them, and I don't care about the religious aspect of them.

I do, however, celebrate Thanksgiving in the usual way, but this year's sucked. Next year I'll do it my way. I like Halloween, but I wouldn't say I celebrate it. I never do stuff anymore, but I guess if there was a costume party or something, I'd go if invited.

Oh i love christmas, i think its sooo much fun :D every year my family and other people like relatives and close friends meet and celebrate it together. We give eachother presents, eat together, talk with eachother and just have alot lot fun :D

To me christmas is about being with your family and having a day where you really just forget everything in the world and just enjoy being happy together, that you still have eachother and that you can appreciate that you can celebrate christmas in a warm house with good food and presents and things like that.

I do like christmas... but not the whole tacky, commercial side (sofa ads) side of christmas... im the traditional type that likes having presents under the tree and then a proper christmas dinner with family- if anything breaks this its just not christmas...

i dont like the aftermath particularly though- everyone comparing how much their parents have spent on them this year compared to everyone else (thank god theres a chance that might not happen in uni...) to me that just ruins the whole point of the celebration

i do celebrate Christmas. i go to church and worship with my family then hang out with my friends and family after that. i also love the 'warm' and happy feeling of this season and decorating the house and being engaged in Church programmes for Christmas. ture meaning of Christmas to me...birth of Jesus Christ and enjoying it with loved ones.
