Introduction
I am going to create a new website, wherein people can fight each other online with anime-style fighting characters.
The basics
Characters are anime-based male or female characters
Characters are fully customized, meaning none of the characters will be present in existing anime series
People can create a account and log-in
There will be a character editor which let user create their own fighting characters and submit them to the website, ready to get tested
Stages where the fight takes place are also customizable with a editor
There will be a ranking system implemented, and stats like wins/losses will be recorded
The game will be online, and players can fight each other over the whole world
There will be a endless supply of fighting characters and stagesThe website
When you come on the website, you will first see a screen where you can log-in, create a account, or view some information. Then, after logging in, you can battle other players, create custom fighting characters or stages, view your rankings, or talk on the forums.
The idea
Inspiration for this project did i made up by my own creativity, but the character, stage and fighting style will be much like the game Eternal Fighter Zero (http://www.shoryuken.com/wiki/index.php/EFZ).
The name of the project
I honestly can't come up with a good name for the game. It must be something not used by another game, and very original. Need inspiration.
Maybe one of you can come up with a good name? ^^
I need YOUR help
I hope the idea of my project is clear and understandable.
My skills are on the technical aspect of the project. I will and can create the website, the game, and get everything to work.
But my problem is: creativity and artistic skills. I am not a artist, and not creative at all, so i need people to help me with stuff (only help if you have fun doing it! ^.^ Helping me will cause your name to be listed on the website under 'credits' if you want!)
I need your help on the following stuff:
Background image login screen:
I need a 1024x450 pix image, fully filled up with different anime characters in fighting style. The top, left and right edges must fade to black, as the background of the website will be black. This image will be placed on the login area of the website.
Name of the game:
Like mentioned above, I need a good name for the game.
Some random characters
I also need a couple of characters (350x500 pix) for the left-bottom of the main website (after logging in), randomly chosen each page visit. the 350x500 pix is a maximum boundary, and do not need to get filled. Images must be transparent PNG format, and character edges must not touch the boundaries.Have fun!
The most important part of helping me in one of these things, is to have fun! Do it only if you enjoy it!:laugh:
