Just what is the bloody deal with MapleStory?

I'm looking for an MMO to play. Used to play Runescape- got into it- REALLY into it = - =; and after realizing "i have no life", i got bored with it and cant start back up again.

SO- I've asked for reccomendations on other similar MMOs. I just wanna rank up and kick things... is that so much to ask for?! D:

Anyways, a million times i have heard "oh you should try maple story! lolololol"

But it just seems stupid >=> can anyone gimme a decent opinion of this little maple game?

Why not just play it and judge for yourself.
The game is free to play, and it costs nothing to download.

However if all you want to do is "Rank up and kick things"
You should probably find a diffrent genre of games.

only thing I actually hate in MS is the quest system, I mean, they should make a better ''quest helper''

Well, I don't really like MS. I enjoy playing private servers of it. One thing I must say however.

Is how long it takes to get from town to town.
