is there a significant difference in buying the game at a game store and downloading it ...exactly which is best to do??

Well, one you need to wait several hours or so to get hold of (depending on your connection speed), while the other you have to wait several minutes to install. Also, one usually comes in a box with a physical manual.

Storm pretty much got the gist of it. Personally, I'd say buy. It's one less step. See, the thing is, when you buy at the store, you spend a certain amount on the game, and it comes with a certain code. You put the code in and Blizzard knows you bought it. Install, free month comes with it, game on.

When you download, you have to pay that same amount to activate, but you still get the free month. The down side here is that you're waiting on the download. Ultimately, I'll always buy (as I'm the type to play for a while, stop, play for a while, stop)

It's probably better to buy the physical version of the game, but it doesn't matter. The only real advantage to DLing it is that you can install it in the trial period before you actually buy it. Even if you get the CD version and in the future your dog eats the CDs you can always DL the client for free.

I was always under the imopression that if you did down load it you couldnt play it because you still needed a key to completly install it. Mabey there is a Keygen out that actually works now that i dont know about or mabey hes talking about downloading it from the site.. Either way Just buy the darn thing. Less time consuming less work plus you get the satisfaction of having a hard copy.. everyone knows it feels so much better to come home with your faveorite CD then to download it. Although some of us are to lazy or to broke to do such a thing lol... Off topic.. im done. (i do not and am not promoting illegale downloading. Last time i did such a thing i got burned, so remember kids no pirating. ohh and no drugs.)

right thats the one.. but the darn cd key would prolly be the same as buying the thing... i would once again just choose buying it for now.
