No, they aren't twins.

One of the things that's going around is that they based Tidus off of Shuin, but that's just a rumor.

You didn't have to be mean about it. =P

From what I understand, by playing FFX and FFX-2.. Tidus was dreamt by the Fayth AND the summoners of old Zanarkand. All the people, all the buildings, etc. So they made Tidus as a form of Shuin. To protect the summoner (Yuna) on her pilgrimage.

So basically, Tidus is just a cheap Shuin. ^_^;; Shuin is the real person. Tidus is just a clone. Yesh.

oh well, tidus wasn't made to protect yuna, and the summoners are part of the fayth aren't they? Auron brought tidus out of the dream, that's how he got out of the dream world
