Just trying to track down a series, does anyone recognize these characters?

They look like Shion and Rena from Higurashi. At least for me.:)

those are from higurashi or at least I think that's how it's spelled.

At first glance I thought they were from Higurashi as well.
But Shion has green hair, doesn't she?

The green's hidden by the sunset scenery, otherwise it's definitely Rena and Shion. The clothes gave it away.

I love how nobody as of this point has thought of mentioning Mion.

Mion has a ponytail, while Shion wears her hair loose. The two frequently change their hair style when they switch identities, though, so you can't really tell.

Ah i had contemplated it being Hirugashi but i wasn't sure, the hair color threw me off too... Thanks everyone :)
