Commence dancing on it's graves if you will, but they did as much for the FPS genre as Id, and it makes me sad to know that it was run into the ground by a savage pack of retards.

and I was really hoping they'd actually finish Duke Nukem Forever...

It's been taking so long; I suppose Take Two could send it to another developer.
Raven, id, Activision, Infinity Ward, oh, who else? Any of them could take the project on. I want Duke Nukem!

Actually, I bet Rockstar could do it. They'd get it right, I'm sure of it.

Seriously. I saw some concept art of the pod-women (which I won't post because of boobs), and think they'd be completely awesome from a moral-dilemma point of view.

Duke Nukem Forever wasn't going to happen anyway. They'd been talking about it for a decade, and randomly releasing images and info, and every time they did it was radically different. They'd probably have just kept changing their minds and re-working it ad infinitum.

This is less of a disappointment to me than Ensemble Studios being shut down.
