My old gallery was closed, so I'm starting a new thread. I can't keep up with posting pieces every week because I'm pretty busy in real life, so I'll be starting a new thread every time I make a new piece (once a month/2 months).
Anyway, about this piece I might say it took me two weeks to finish and most of my breaks... it's not like I've had many, but still sucked most of my spare time.

Here you can see the process from the drawing (traditional art) to the completely digitalized and

vectored piece.
I would love to read your comments here or in dA, so feel free to post and tell me what you think about

them =)

I like what you did here. Nice clean sharp colors.

Dopam1ne .. these are awesome. I've never seen this anime before, but it looks very professionally drawn! the colored version is especially sharp and clean.

I'd really like to see more, when you make them. :]

Your drawing almost looks like a book cover. As Miss Moonlight wrote, it appears professional. Great job! :)

Wow, I wouldn't think of myself as someone able to make pro stuff, but thanks. It means a lot to me.

I have more pieces in my gallery. If you wish, you can take a look to them:

Did you do the drawing or just the vector? Just wondering...

I really like your work (whether you drew it or not). And I <3 Slayers. Nice work capturing Lina's expression.

Nice composition! Dopam1ne! The colors are great and the linework rocks (I'm a fan of vector lines as well! :D)

^ Thanks! Have you made any vectors?

I made everything you see in the first post. I wouldn't be claiming as mine something I didn't make. Click on the links and you'll realise all them are in my dA account. Besides, the vectored piece looks way better in full view. Have a look to it.

@ dopamine : Yes, yes i have... love them to death! (second only to quickmelt cheese and Justin Timberlake (no wait... forget I said that.)) But seriously, i love making vector.

Though, as an artist, I'm reaching a crossroads in my life where I can't decide if I have what it takes to continue illustrating... I'm getting a bit disheartened at times... Prolly why I haven't set up an art thread T_T hahaha

u have some skills there my friend. u even added backgrounds to ur drawings. imo, any drawings or sketches with a background are most creative. i should start adding backgrounds to mines, keep it up.
