Anyway, some freak event caused most of the forums to corrupt in Ace's primary database used for Tux and Agdc.

Anyway, I got bored last night and made a backup of everything on the server. I guess that was a damn good coincidence seeing as the database corrupted the very next day.

Back up and running!

Yeah, damn happy I made it o_O;; A days worth of posts were lost though ... oh well. You know, all of tux, ag, and animegalleries was in that db ... !

You did try a REPAIR TABLE (I'm too lazy to look up the exact syntax) SQL query first, though, right?

Of course, too corrupt to be fixed. "Repair Table" simple errored out from all of the tables in the DB.

Wait, I have a question..

You said the site got sick..

But you fixed it.

How can it be fixed if it's sick? Wouldn't it need some meds or something?

He did give it Meds. It's called html and re-doing scripts.

Well, I have complete the job as of this post time. The ad banners are running again, Ace will be placing them back up shortly, and this time they wont screw up to all mighty hell because -I- was the one who set them up, not the damn ad company. All's better, and I get $900 =D
