Just got a new compact digi cam and figured to test it out today. I'm not pro, so no flaming! //12 (Canon Powershot A2000 IS)
Constructive comments are always welcome

I took 300+ pictures in 3/4 hours which is pretty much intense giving the conditions (fast walking and speedy panorama bus with dirty windows).
Also experimented a lot with ISO since I could not manually reglate the shutter speed.

Unter den Linden - the main avenue situated in East Berlin:

An interesting building which is most probably an embassy:

Your pictures look pretty crisp to me, so your camera must be a pretty good model.
Colors are vivid, and detail (especially the Reichtag) pops.

hehe, second to last looks like someone had fun with a Trabant.

Man, you hit some awesome weather, and it does not look to overcrowded.
Cheers for that.

it is amazing the distinctions between thier older buildings and the new modern look. Out of all of Europe, I bet Berlin resembles Western (I guess I am thinking US) style architecture. being that it was mostly rebuilt from scratch in the late 40's to today. Most is newer rather than older.
(you would probably know more.

Germans are so symmetric and mathematic. From the Remembrance to the Gate, everything is similar one side as the other, or at least it is balanced. I even love the geometric shapes for the trees at the Castle Bellevue, or the perfectly lined hedge bushes of the Reichstag.

In it's own way it is a thing of beauty.
Anyhow, thanks for sharing these mate.

most of them feels like too random ... you lack composition.

Each picture holds its own meaning.
Loved each one of it honestly.

I was so amazed by some buildings shape and size , man , they are beautifully captured.

Lovely photos. You even captured the blue of the sky in the just for the tourists photo. I like that. Good angle as well.
