so lots of anime goes through changes in dubbing like DBZ and Pokemon or new updated versions of the an old show which then have new voice actors voicing existing characters.

who do you guys think play these characters the best?

have a listen to these sound clips and judge for yourself.

sometimes its really obvious when a dubbing studio doesnt have quality actors.

any other characters that have had multiple voice actors?

Crispin Freeman is an awesome voice actor. He's been in all sorts of things. He can make his voice sound different enough to do multiple characters in the same anime.

Excel, from Excel Saga, had more than one because the first VA blew out her vocal cords (ouch), and Ken-goh from E7, because Bob Papenbrook sadly passed away.

I like Aya Hirano as Konata from Lucky Star, and I liked her performance as Polka from Eternal Sonata, too. Two characters who's personalities differed and they had very different voices, both cute but done in different ways. In Polka's voice I could notice a hint of Haruhi too.

That is a pretty killer site.

I just listened to the differences in Vegeta. Criss Sabat did a better job
I can not believe all the different voices for Optimus throughout the incarnations of Transformers. I can tell you the last voice is the worst on that list.

Yeah, she's one of my favorites as well.

I think my favorite voice actor would have to be Inoue Marina (http://myanimelist.net/people/158/Marina_Inoue) who voiced Kana in Minami-ke, Kyoko in Skip Beat, Yoko in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and is currently voicing Alicia in Valkyria Chronicles.

She is just so awesome in every way... <3
