View Full Version : How To Make Shadows On Wallpapers

I can make many wallpapers as I can but the problem is that I really wanted to learn how to add shadows to my characters in the wallpapers. Can anyone help me, I really want to know.
I'm using Photoshop, anyone knows how

you just click on the layer that you want the shadow to be of, go to the layers tab in the largest of the 3 boxes that are on the right hand of the screen, hte lower right box, then right click on the layer you want the shadow to be on, their should be a popup menue that first has layer properties then it has blending options, click on blending options. A dialog box should popup. It shoudl be called layer styles click on drop shadow and play around with the options enjoy. This is for Photoshop 7.
you could always make a copy of the lyaer you want to have the shadow of make a selection of it inverse that selection fill it with black then blur and offset, I used to do that.
