And while I'm Vocaloid-ing (though I really should get back to Sound Horizon and stop being so distractable), here's the other song I've found that I like. It is one strange little song, and a lot harder to follow than the last one, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

You there, young lady on a journey
Is something the matter?
What, the prescription on the glasses is wrong?
I am terribly sorry
But still, please take care of them
Those glasses were given only to you,
The glasses of a legendary hero

They're a vision correction device
Distorting the path of the light

Ah, my status is "really cranky"
With the dialogue of "Do you want me to give you
Half of the world?" [4]

Humming "yes"
Then hitting "no" and starting to run away [5]
In a burst of anger, I finish off those people

konna tsukurimono minna minna

Truly, flowers are more brilliant
The sky is wider, the sea is deeper
The sun shines brighter, you don't look as stupid
But when I look at the scenery through these glasses
Why doesn't anything look real?
All these fakes, all of them --

daikirai da

I hate them!

oo, itsuzoya no ojousan
megane no guai wa ikaga desu ka?
nani? "erasou na koto o iu omae wa nanimono da"?
sate, nanimono deshou naa
anata no megane ga, yoi kussetsuritsu de arimasu koto o

Oh, the young lady from before
How is the condition of your glasses?
What? "Who are you to ask such a self-important question?"
Well then, who am I, hmm
May your glasses have a good refraction index

[1] What?
[2] Not getting this line either.
[3] Yes, I know it doesn't literally say "scroll," I'm just having a bit of fun with it -- trying to sound RPGish. If people think it's too great a liberty I can change it to "ancient text" or whatever.
[4] Awkwardly phrased, but I can't think of anything better right now.
[5] Not sure I've gotten what these lines are saying.

Hmm... Interesting song.

>unknown : そこの、旅のお嬢さん
>You there, young adventurer lady
I've always thought of 旅 as travel or journey more than adventure.
-> You there, young lady on a journey

>だけど 神父は夜遊び
>But the priest plays at night [1]
What? indeed XD. 「夜遊び」 is used to refer to all leisure activities that involve going out at night, like going drinking in town, gambling, womanizing, etc.
-> But the priest goes out at night

>昨夜は お楽しみでしたね イェイ イェイ
>And last night was fun, yay yay!
-> I see you had fun last night, yay yay!
I have a terrible feeling that this a 2-channel meme (「ゆうべはおたのしみでしたね」) from the game Dragon Quest. The innkeeper says it to the player when you spend the night at the inn with a girl in your party, and is immensely famous for being so randomly inappropriate.

>せかいの はんぶん
>きみに あげよか? の ダイアログで
>Because I've been halfway around the world
>With the dialogue of "can I give them to you?" [4]
I don't know where you're getting the "been" here. It seems to make more sense to read it as 「せかいのはんぶん きみにあげよ(う)か?」.
-> With the dialogue of, "do you want [me to give you]
Half of the world?"

>unknown : あなたのめがねが、よい屈折率でありますことを
>Your glasses have a good refraction index
I think you missed the 「を」, which makes this a wish (「~でありますことを(祈ります/願います)」).
-> May your glasses have a good refraction index

* I don't know whether someone's vision being 2.0 in Japan means the same thing it does in the US (here it would mean she was far-sighted). If it's not, let me know, I'll change it to an equivalent. (If it is, should I still footnote it? A lot of people might not know...)
Hmm, I didn't know that. In Japan, 2.0 eyesight is almost considered a synonym for "perfect vision" or "really good eyesight", and it's probably the way it's used here.

Ugh, I had a reply written up, but then the forum apparently went down for a few minutes and I lost it. And I'm lazy. So I'll just say thanks for the help!

Argh, I hate it when that happens too.
