umm who do you think i suit best to cosplay as? i dont know.... i honestly dont think i can pull it off.... with any character. please help me... no rude comments :D btw tell me how i look! anddd do you think its ok to cosplay im only 5'4 - 5'5 and close to being 15 years old. (few days away)

haha I can't say much since this guy got all the suggestion or questions. But he has a point, you'd want to cosplay as a char you know/like.

what type of budget do you have to work with? A lot? a little or somewhere in between?

You might be able to go as Haruhi. Have you seen the anime? If not uh go as someone more common like Hinata or someone from bleach or naruto (I really don't like that EVERYONE cosplay as one of them but whatever)

Personally since I'm Black i dont have many choices but i will cosplay as Dutch from Black Lagoon :D

DUTCH! That's a cool one. But back to the matter at hand. Seeing as you are young and a petite female, best bet would be any number of anime school girls. Haruhi is a very good one. But it is best as mentioned to do characters you know well.
A friend of mine learned the hard way at our first convention, do a mainstream character, and do them well. Generic characters don't do well with otaku.

PEOPLE! Didn't you hear the young lady, she already got the costume. If she hasn't gone to the con yet, then it's time to discuss,,,,, POSING! There is more to cosplaying then just wearing a costume and looking the part, you have to BE the part! You have to do alot of practicing of the character's traits and such to really get noticed.
At SakuraCon, the Haruhi Suzumiya photoshoot, the girls and guys were ACTUALLY doing the dance. And these are people who didn't actually practice together, but pulled it off well anyways.
