View Full Version : Where is your dream house located?
Yeah, this may sound like a stupid thread, but I'm totally serious. I would love to live on the island Sardegna (Sardinia is how we spell it). Sardegna is right off the coast of Italy. My mom was stationed there for a brief amount of time when she was in the Air Force, and she said it was the most beautiful place she had ever been in. The water on the seashore was a crystal blue; no garbage to be seen anywhere. She was there in February, and it was so warm, you could walk in the water and not get cold at all. THAT is where I would like my dream house to be: on the island of Sardegna.

In this economy my house is located in Santa Maria, California with low mortgage. Two rooms and a toilet would be nice. Maybe a driveway and two windows. Maybe a door that closes.

My dream house is located in Riverview FL.
I'd live somewhere in Louisiana.. But it's too below sea level for my hurricane terrified self. Living in Florida is hard enough as it is.

Oh God, Flemington N.J most definitely. It was my uncles old house. *Sigh* I had the best memories in that house. ^^

Assuming I'm going to have the money to afford it:
I want to live in an aparment, maybe a penthouse. On floor twenty-something in the middle and nice part of the city where I'll be able to see the lights at night.

Pretty much in my dreams. But I always wanted to live in a small house on an island. The view having the ocean outside and it is always sunny. That's my dream house..Kinda like the island in KH where Sora was born.

A nice house somewhere where a street is called Thunder Road. (Anyone who gets the reference is a winrar)
But, if a nice house does not exist on said road, a castle house. You know, one of the houses that looks like it was modeled after a castle. I do not need a behemoth sized one, though. A pretty decent size one would be nice. Any area would do, too. Not in a neighborhood with vandals, though. Big turn off.
NO WAI @ Teddie. I would love to live there. That's kind of what I picture Sardegna looking like.

Coastal Croatia. I have family members that live in various cities in the country. I'd prefer one a little bit out of city, though, so I could drive - or boat! - a short distance away and admire the starry sky. Plus the beautiful ocean. I can also visit family in Serbia, and vacation in Greece or Italy or other parts of Europe without spending a fortune, since those countries are close together.

Haha yeah. I always dream about being on an island and living there. I just really hope it happens.

What?! No door knob? And is a floor a given?

Floor not needed. If I tell you something promise not to laugh. I've been missing a doorknob on my garage door for a while now. We haven't gotten around to fixing it.

One place would be somewhere in Italy. Not sure where but I loved the history there and the climate was perfect. It beats the extreme cold here.
Or other places in Europe such as England or France. Loved the culture and the history. And there food is awesome!
DOOM!

I hope Italy gets nuked, I've had enough of it! And for all you foreigners who chose Sardegna/Sicily, I hope you'll have the money to pay for... protection-like... from broken windows or gas containers and matches.
To those who chose Tokyo for the sakura trees: couldn't you just plant some cherry trees in your garden? Does Tokyo magically turn them into Sakuras?
As fer me. I'd like..... hmmm... that Jesus statue, in Rio!
Why? OH EXPLOITABLE!

Hmm. I'm not sure where i'd like to be. Perhaps in my home state for now. One in a place that isn't too crowded, safe, and secluded with a private driveway.
Maybe around the beach, and/or water.
None of the above

At least you've a garage.
Garages are overrated. The neighborhood hoodlums can still break into my garage and hotwire my family minivan.
Sidenote: Luckily, I bought one today. A nice silver one might I add. I did something about it.
My dream house would probably be located on some secluded island or forest or some other natural scene, far away from the majority of people. I've always loved exotic places. But if it had to be near people, I'd live in London or Venice, simply because of their beauty and great majesty. And food. :)

See, Svalbard is the place. Population: ~2,000. Population density: 10 square miles (30 km^2) per person. Average summer temperature: 5 C / 40 F. It's about as far north as the northern border of greenland.
