Name this anime!

I'm taking a stroll down memory lane, and I hit a wall. I distinctly remember watching this one anime when I was very young about bullet trains...they were talking, walking bullet train engines that transformed into still very bullet train looking robots (so nothing like transformers). For the life of me I cannot remember what it was called. Can anyone give me a hint to jog some memories?

Maybe its an anime called The Brave Express Might Gaine. It does have trains that transform but it is very close to Transformers (train that turns into jet, train that turns into dinosaur, train that turns into bird, train that turns into a lion, etc). Also, it is old...like...really old (it ended in 1994).

Yah I would have to agree that it's probably The Brave Express Might Gaine.

It could be but The Brave Express Might Gaine was never outside of Japan and I'm not sure you're from Japan. There are a few fan subs of it, but in reality fan subs of this show were not around a few years ago.
