They look awesome. Only comment I'd make is its sometimes hard to read the names, but you have a ton of talent for this, so keep it up!

Not bad sigs - I like your style. The first set is the best I think. The background blends with the image, and the colors seem pretty good. The text is somewhat large, but it's pretty dark, so it looks fine.

The last three sigs don't blend as well - the background don't really match the colors of the images in front. Your backgrounds on the second and fourth sets are awesome, but you should mess around with the colors so that the character color matches the background. Try selective color. ^^

Overall, your backgrounds are great, just work on blending, colors, and text size. Great work! XD

Oh. I thought that the fourth one looked nice with that black/blue combination between the background and the character. Though I guess the diference in color in the second one is quite big. xD

If you have any tips concerning text though I'd be glad to listen. <3 My text usually sucks, and I have trouble getting it to look right. D:

My fave has got ot be the Rukia Kuchiki one, the set is so calming.
The backgroudn is simple in a beautiful way, and "time waits for no one" is very creative.

There's so many of them that I'm a bit too lazy to comment on them all x__x;

Hmm... well the one you're using now and the "Snowdrop" one... I think the characters are a bit too sharp-looking, which imo makes them blend in less-well (Meh can't say it in a good way). But I like how you make your backgrounds, it looks very effective, so to say.

Snowdrop: Looks a little bit empty on the right side.
Grim Angel: Looks a little bit empty on the left side. XD

I also think that you should work a little bit with the lighting.

I really, really like the first Rukia set. It blends really well, and I like the darker lighting. Perhaps work on the text in the lower right - it doesn't blend as well as the text on top. Great set! I also really like the Snowdrop sig. The colors and background effects are very nice. Though with the text, perhaps a more flowing text would have been suitable? The coloring of the text is pretty good, but perhaps make it smaller. I have loads of problems with text too. 83 Very nice works - keep them up!

I'm glad that you like that Rukia sig. <3 Was a request for a friend so it's good it looks nice.

Anyway, I need help. D: I just can't figure out what to do with text in this one, or if i should even put text in it or not.

They all need a bit of work with blending. The last one is the only that I see that has good enough color balance. The first has too much going on, and very oversized. The quality of some also seems too grainy or the pixels are strained and leave bad marks on the sig's. Not to insult, but it seems like you grabbed an anime character you like, and decided to stuff in grunge brushes and color it every which way. The latest with Flamedramon is your best. The colors flow well, and the blending is fairly decent. Only problem is that the grainy quality still persists so Flamedramon is a tad oversharpened. It's help us help you if you noted what program you're using unless I missed it already.

The background on the 2nd one could probably use a little more work.Maybe helping it stick out a little more.The sig for Sora is just the coolest ever!Its really nice.The background really goes with the render and blends a little nicely.

Thats weird,now I can see teh Magna Carta siggy,well its awsome anyway^^,the backgrounds very cute and so is the render,the background does although seem a little somwhat uhhh.....dirty,like you could clean it up a bit.

The majority of them look pretty grungy, avoid using too many Adjustment layers to make your signatures. Especially gradient maps. Everything else seems fine to me though.

You've got some good stuff here man ^_^

Your render blending seems fine to me, I wouldn't worry about it.

For backgrounds, try something withouts an obvious emphasize on the c4ds. When you keep your c4ds more subtle you can really work on improving composition.

Just my view of course. ^_^

I'm kinda glad with the result, though I'm not too sure yet. My first time using an actual picture instead of an anime render, so it's kind of weird. Still need to make an avatar as well.

I love the Naruto siggies (especially the Pein one), as well as the KH siggy. Those are some of my favorite anime. I wish I could make sigs like everyone here can. I don't have Photoshop, though...

Anywho, sometimes a flashy bg isn't so great, it can quite easily drown out the actual render itself. In fact, i like this sig alot more than some of your other works. =D

Saber's armor blends extremely well with the bg, but her blonde head doesn't, and she kinda looks decapitated. Maybe her armor blends TOO well ><'.

The text is shiny +_+ And the squiggle is a nice touch. Her eyes stand out too much also, so i would turn her eyes maybe into an aqua blue-ish color to match the rest of the sig better.

Overall, great job once again!

Love the colors you chose, they blend well, but not too much ~.^

There's not much I can say about this one, the only thing is, his hand is too distracting. It's very shiny, and when I first looked at the sig I thought, "ooh, shiny purple thing! +_+" I didn't realize it was a hand at all, not to mention it belonged to somebody.
Maybe make him shiny too? =3

The colors are just a major mismatch. It would appear as, and I am quoting my friend on this, 'trying to start a fire in the middle of blue'. Blend the colors more together with each other, or just get rid of the colors with a Black and White gradient. Everything else is essentially working for ya.

the purple on the top left looks random. Maybe... try getting the same effects on the right side there and slamming it on the purple spot? and the C4D looks a bit over sharpened.

the hair is not really liking the background color... Try adding some lighting near there and hide the obstruction. and the background color, maybe it'll look better with a deeper shade of blue. and play around ith the fonts a bit :3 be creative!

The first one is good except in my opinion, i would have had more of his body showing instead of having the effect render over most of it. I love the flow of the signature :3 it works well. Nice work on the second one aswell, its simple and neat.

Very nice flow.
But I think the lighting is a bit odd.
It's all over the place.
But that's just my opinion.
Not bad though.
I suggest doing something about the negative space you've got there on the left side of the signature. =\

Don't worry.
I think it looks fine.
Excellent flow though.
I think it looks truly outstanding.
Just a lot of negative spacing...
Perhaps some wire frame C4Ds?
Oh and try Clipping Masks.
They help a lot.
And you could also use this filter.
After you have applied the entire image (that is when you are done...)
Go to Filter>Render>Lighting Effects.
Then from there, you will be able to truly manipulate the lighting of your signature professionally.
Also, you could just use Canvas Size and make the signature smaller on the width.
Because it has a lot of negative space as I said.

But honestly, you have some true potential to become number one.
Can't wait to see more from you. ^^

Nice sigs - I especially like the Ed and Misa sigs. The coloring and lighting on your sigs is amazing.

On the Ed sig, I would tend to agree that it could use some cropping on the sides - there's a lot of negative space. Maybe you could also add some lighting flares and glow lines (pen tool) around Ed's hands, or use clipping masks as Balance suggested.

I love your rich color choice on the sig though. Awesome works!

It's Alodia/blackmage9 in her Misa Misa look. Yeah, she is an awesome cosplayer. ^^

On the sig however, I think the effects distracts the eye from Alodia--taking the attention from her. The flame on her left seemed to be in a different direction than the character position seem to imply. The lighting seems off... the right side is aflame but the side of Alodia's head is shadowed. I think if the flame effect on the right were to be on the left, and thinned out a bit, it would be smexy ^^ You can also try to dodge or burn the areas to correct/enhance the lighting... or you can try brushing low opacity black on the corners or in some areas to coax the eyes to look at the focus of the sig, Alodia. ^^

That looks awesome! Probably because of the C4D/stock in the background and because of the hand that seems popping out rather than doing nothing.

Love the lighting, composition and sharpness.
Also, theres white, unextracted bits around the left side of the hair and fingers lol

As you can see I still phail bad at text choice and placement. I'd love anyone that could teach me and get me better at it. Why yus.

Well I have to say your background effects look really good.
I do have some comments and critiques though.

The first one, with the warrior, the blending is nice and the colours are nice. But the left side and right side of the signature differ too much, one side is too chaotic, whilst the other side is very calm and has a nice flow to it. I think you should balance it out or perhaps some text placement on the left will fill it up and it won't look so empty and different to the right side.

Sasori signature, very very very nicie background and the effects used look gret, but there is hardly any interaction between "sasori" and the background, there is little depth and the blending is to a minimum. What's really making this signature look great is the background and not the interaction between character and 'surrounding'.

Hunter x Hunter signature, again.. very nice back ground effects, the lighting is nice, also it has a great flow to it. But kill the glow all around the character, it looks quite ... bad. Then the ball of .. something, very nicely made, looks great! But doesn't he have a hand behind there? Because of the effects you applied on that area the hand has completely dissappeared, yet the sleeve is still there. So perhaps making the hand appear again would be a good idea, then the image would make more sense.

And yeah.. frankly said .. you're bad with text. You should look at what the whole "feeling" of the signature is. straight laced type can look very good with these signatures. With signatures that give off a "dark" feeling swirly or curly type just won't do, it doesn't match at all. Though the effects you applied to the text in the last signature are good, it would look better in a 'normal' type. And don't be afraid to use some big typefonts. A big and bold type could look good with the sasori signature.
And last ut not least, don't be afraid to turn your text to a different angle, because on all the signatures on this page the text has been placed horizontally on it.

But all together your works look pretty good ;)

Kind of figured that out on the Nightmare signature. Wanted to fill up that space with text but just couldn't come up with anything worthwhile. D:

I see what you mean on my Sasori one though. I concentrated too much on making the background flashy and all and forgot to blend in the render as well. Well, nothing a little editing of the psd file can't fix. Could try and get better text working on while I'm at it. ;3

As for the HunterxHunter I kinda wanted it to look like 'power' was coming out of his hand, guess it just got 'lost' in there. I could always lower the opacity on that layer and see what comes out of it.

I like how the lighting matches the character, and how it's complex and simple at the same time; however, there's a bit too much negative space in the left of the signature that makes it seem off balance. Other than that it's a pretty good signature, good job.

I'll comment on your latest Lelouch signature. :]
I really like the colours you used; it fits well with the character. However, I don't think the background flows very well. The right side has more effects than the left side.
And yeah, I have to agree with Shiori Tenka that there is quite a bit of negative space on the left.
Overall, this signature is well done. =]

And to get depth with the smudging, apply the image on a new layer and go to filter - other - high pass, set it to overlay and erase the ew parts. Your smudging is very nice though.

I tried that technique you talked about. It's like adding contrast layer to the sig and pretty much I think the blur/sharper technique works better, most of the time.

Now that you mention it though, he looks kinda lost in there. Maybe I shouldn't have deleted his cape and everything. Thanks for the smudge comment too. ;p

Anyway two sigs I did while I was bored the other day. They're pretty crappy, but I guess that's what happens when you're bored and have no ideas.

I love the paint effects into the image's hat and hair on the 2nd newest sig. It'd look great with some text in the lower left corner.

I believe this is all I've done in the past year or so.. I really gotta find some inspiration so I can start making them again. I'll start and try to make one every once in a while but I end up scraping the whole idea mid-way for many reasons. xD

Anyway, seeing some of you guys works really pumps me up. So, I'm gonna try and catch up to you all. Haha. ;p
