what's hot bot? is it like an automated bot that will warn you? or something simillar there of? i see it and i am miffed! what is it?

HotBot, like GoogleBot and others just mean that a particular search engine is currently spidering the site. That is -very- good, as the more spiders go through a site, the higher it's position on a search engine.
The only bot that may be able to warn you would be Chii, and she isn't set to do so yet ^_^;;
