Yeah, Secret of mana was pretty good... go get an emulator and hunt down the translated Seiken Densetsu 3. Its the sequal to SoM. Its much better, as you get to play as any 3 of 6 characers. (The Wizard, The Spear Woman, The Cleric, The Warrior, The Warewolf/Monk, or the Thief) You also can evolve their classes based on Dark/Light mana. So too different ppl end up with very differnt characters. One may have a Evil shaman, another may have a Bishop.

Ah, that sounds so cool. But, unfortunately, I don't know how to work/download an emulator. o.o;; But, if I do learn how to some day, It'll be the first thing for me to get. :D

It's not that hard to find/work an emulator, its finding games thats the problem...

ZSNES (http://www.zsnes.com/) is what I use to emulate. I'd suggest getting an 6 button control pad too, but you can easily map your Keyboard if you want.

I dunno where to find games though, all the sites I used are either gone or not working, and a lot of "Emulation" sites are just Ad's and maybe emulator downloads...

Ah, okay. Thanks a bunch. I'll try it out later, and see if I can get it to work this time. ^_^;;

And, if I find a site that has games that can be used on an emulator, I'll give 'em to yah. :D

I've played, like, every SNES game I've ever wanted to play. Tell me if you find a translated Tactics Ogre, or Tokimeki game though. :D

Yes, Tactics Ogre is also for the PS, and Saturn too. I just want to avoid the hassel of looking for a rare game, if I can. (The GBA Tactics Ogre is a sequal, by the way)

Sword of Mana dosen't even have a realese date yet... <_<

Well, I just remembered the best site I ever found for ROMs. www.edgeemu.com. It has a lot of pop-ups but it has a LOT of ROMs. It has a translated Seiken Densetsu 3 as well.

That game owns. Kinda neat to see the game from the different characters eyes. How they react to different places and so on.

And for downloading roms; here's what i usually do: www.google.com -> type `potential_filename.smc "index of"`, click search.
for an instance, if i want a rom of Super Mario World, i'd search for the string `mario.smc "index of"`.
with 99.5% someone has forgot to set up his bots.txt so that google has cached his homedir and thus made all his stuff available to the public.

There is one for GBA, Sword of Mana. And i find this more to be Adventure type than RPG..but i like it nonetheless tho its alot of hacking and slashing.

EDIT: *looks at date of thread* o...>.>
