I like my member title, or does it still say admin o_O;; Maybe we should do was WHT does, after a certain number of posts, a user is upgraded from member to high member, which allows them to change their member title.

It was 2,500, then it was 3000.

Kaitou says&#39; it&#39;s set to like 50,000 till he knows what to do with it.

I just want the fun titles back, Like Pokemon, and stuff.

I liked all the titles. They were from various animes, it was fun trying to figure out which ones you knew, and seeing the new titles pop up.

I don&#39;t like it when everyone can make thier own custom titles. It&#39;s more fun having them at a high mark.

10,000 took me on the old board about two years. But then again when the board died I had about 14,000.

I&#39;m just saying, it shouldn&#39;t be too low, and it shouldn&#39;t be too high. 5,000 seems pretty good.

Custom titles will be availiable, but set pretty high for now. Besides, with Chii around, it won&#39;t take long for people to have high post counts O_o;

I&#39;m pretty sure I didn&#39;t break 1000 in my first (read: only) year xD

Of course, that&#39;s partially because I don&#39;t care about post counts.

The idea is to contain spam. Sure, you can enforce rules that will eliminate spam--but in so doing, you&#39;ll create an environment in which people can&#39;t post anything at all, saving perhaps academic-type essays that nobody wants to read anyways, without it being tagged as spam and closed.

I have had this argument with Britt SO many times...

AG has always had some basis of spam, but not -this- kind of spam. Not where Kaitou&#39;s said "Okay, sure, you can spam, Here. I&#39;ll even leave post counts on."

It&#39;s stupid. I don&#39;t think he should do it at all.

It&#39;s more like if you feel the absolute need to get your post count to a certain number, at least talk to the bot, who won&#39;t care, then spamming forums where meaningfull discussions take place.

Removing post counts from the forums would only make people ignore those forums, and go back to spamming the regular discussions which is Bad

And I remembered some of the titles we had, and kinda the posts we had the at.

Pokemon - 5 or 10 posts
Eva Pilot Or something like that - 250 or 300

....And then there was Senshi, and Otaku and Master or Great Otaku or something....

See, spam&#39;s annoying if it&#39;s derailing topics where people are trying to have a decent conversation. If it&#39;s in a thread where nobody ever reads the post...it only matters to people who care about post counts for their own sake too bloody much. Such as the entire population of Acmlm&#39;s ROM Hack Domain. (Don&#39;t go there, it&#39;s not pretty)

It&#39;s politics, really. If a given demographic is causing a problem, and you throw them a bone to get them out of the way, they stop causing a problem. In this case, it doesn&#39;t cost anybody anything, really.

Man 5000? At the old Ag board i had about 600 before it plopped, and i was there for 6 months before it flopped. I say 3000 or 2000 is good. and I remember all the names but its better to implement a new structure.
