There are too many...

The gravity gun from Half-Life 2. The antlion phermones from Half-Life 2. The Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. The Landshark Gun from Armed and Dangerous. The wrench from Prey. The candlestick from Clue. The airstrike grenade from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. The Farsight XR-20 from Perfect Dark. The laptop gun from Perfect Dark. The lancer from Gears of War. The portable nuke from the upcoming Fallout 3 looks nice... I think that covers most of the interesting ones.

I think if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with either the gravity gun, the Lancer, or the laptop gun. They're arguably the most versatile.

I think we can learn one or two from Half-Life: a crowbar or something hard and in an arm length that you found in the surrounding is best defensive weapon; in game or dire real-life situation. Ditto is a normal pokemon.If a fighting Pokemon came out your ditto tech-9 is useless.A basic Karate Chop is enough.My level 23 Machop can defeat your Ditto RPG anyday.

Had he been able to control his emotions (and ergo the force) properly then he would have succeeded.

Shoot the person with the HF(aq) solution and run like hell. They'll be confused, oh so very confused. But when the liquid didn't hurt and they washed it off, they'll think they're okay. A few hours later, the first bone will break having been etched and (effectively) melted by the acid. Then the next bone, then the next. All the while feeling more and more sick as hypocalcaemia sets in. By the time they die, most of the bones the acid got to will have been destroyed, and they'll be thankful for death as it stopped the pain.

For me, I love a good bo-staff. It is a weapon of convenience. You can use a pool stick, a broom handle, a bat... In the right hands, it is a fantastic weapon.

I have been training in martial arts since I was 14 (do the math, that's 23 years = old fart here). I've trained in every weapon you can imagine. From cool looking but terrible in a fight (nunchakus) to great in a fight, but not practical (double broadsword) to just plain weird (fighting fans).

But a weapon is only as powerful as the person using it (except for guns, which IMO are weapons for the weak and scared). With throwing knives, you need to have distance and accuracy. With a three-section-staff, you need to be pretty damned skilled to not knock yourself out.

If I could choose anytime of warring in the world history, it would be the time of Ancient China / Japan with the use of swords, staffs and chop sticks (yes, an amazing weapon).

I would choose the Patriot SMG from MGS4. After a few modifications (and some AWESOME range time) I would have cured the accuracy and controllability issues, and then AWAY WE GO!!! Nothing like having an infinite amount of 5.56 at the pull of a trigger, and the nifty theme song for whenever I shoulder it.

+1 in stating the obvious and making it mildly funny. This is AF, where in the minds of most members, they can jump off walls, dodge bullets and delfect them with a Katana and have gravity-defying hair

I will use my emense ego to crush my enemies agaisnt the walls of any room and outside of a room, I use a tamed Pseudo Giant and a tamed pack of Snorks.

@Eris: I'd personally use a sabot to fire Jesus, or perhaps just a hollow shell filled with Jesus's body and blood. It's a lot easier to find then Jesus himself- they just leave that stuff sitting around in churches all the time, and all you need is a level 1 Cleric of Yahweh to activate it.
