Yesterday some people were caught stealing the identities and credit cards at major retail stores. http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/bbdp/11-indicted-over-credit-card-thefts/119196. I have had my debit card stolen before and this caused all sorts of problems with my bank. I feel terrible for all the people that this happened to and would like to know what you guys think. I'm sorry but I've been told my link doesn't work but you can find at that address.

We can't find it at that address because it doesn't work. I can tell you just by looking at it that it's not a proper link.

For god's sake people...

Just take out one of the extra http://'s. There's two, remove one, link works fine. I mean this person should have the foresight to test a link to see if it works, and look over the post but the problem is simple. And no, I don't have a credit card so this has never happened to me. Happened to my parents, but their company is pretty spot on and he/she only made one small purchase before he/she was blanked by the long blank of the law.

I didn't even notice the extra http xD

Anyway, I *did* have a fraudulent charge on my card once and only once. Well, it wasn't my card per-say, someone tried to cash a check under my name without my signature [but apparently they had my card number and account number]. What pissed me off was the the bank granted it. I called and had a hissy, and got my money back. I'm very careful with my card and account, and nothing like that has happened since.

I lost my credit card last November, and didn't notice it for 2 days. Luckily when I checked my accounts there had been no transactions, so I just called up my bank, cancelled that card and got a new one.

As for having one stolen, or having an identity stolen, I can't say I know anyone who's had to go through that.

Nope. Then again, I'm not old enough for one of those special, all-your-money-in-a-thin-card. O_o;; My sister lost her wallet once, which had or SSN, Credit, Debit, and License in it.

My mom has like 20 cards in her dresser that she uses once a year just to keep them active. Sad thing is I know the Pin Number, her SSN, however, I don't touch them [which is good!]. >_>;; I have a boyfriend that likes to randomly spoil me when I don't want anything X_x
