tv series vs. regular

im bout to buy a comlpete set of ergo proxy and or even an other anime like elfen lied. whats difference between tv series and the regular? cause one is cheaper than the other.. and does opne have blood and other doesnt? if you could please hlep me. i would be very happy. im on a quest to stock up on anime for a long tiem viewing..=P

Chances are the only diffrence is the extras and the less blocking out of blood.Elfen Lied can be found on the internet,so that you don't have to buy the OVA since I don't know if it comes in hte box set.
