Staring outside
Looking out a window sill
Wondering if I’m living still
Wondering if I’m I
Here I reside
Between my idle mind
And some new strand of time
Softly asking why

Talking my time
To some sad soda can
Wondering if I’m a man
Or I’m just a me
Drinking some rhyme
Hoping I will grow up soon
Listening to some dying tune
Feelin’ like a sea

Talking to god
Or at least my conscious self
And that Poe book on the shelf
three of them the same
Finding it odd
That my home is empty still
So much space for me to fill
And put to my name

Driving on clouds
The space between joy and pain
The time between sun and rain
Twixt the truth and lie
Sighing out loud
Time seem to move slower now
As I’m getting older now
And heave another sigh
