PS3 Vs. XBOX360

Ok people, I am just wandering what games console do you most prefer.

An Xbox360 or a Ps3?

So give us which console you most prefer and give us the details of why it is better than the other one. ( I like the Xbox360 more because even though the graphics are the same as the Ps3, theres a lot more games for it. )

PS3... its like my little baby, iv ripped all my dvd's onto an external HDD and plugged it into the PS3 and it's amazing... plus i could never put down the Dualshock 3 and pick up the Xbox controller, its just too.. FAT!

OOH!... and im holding out for Playstation Home! hopefully were actually gonna get it this year.....

PS3 because free online......for now........and the good games on there like MGS4, Warhawk, and other 1st and 3rd party games. :D

Xbox 360 because it's the only system with the most current DOA game DOA4, Gears of War 1 and 2, and many other good 1st and 3rd party games. :D

Bad things for PS3:
-*frowns at PS3 price tag*
-alot of new exclusive titles.....yeah......but where's the "originals" (MGS4 ect.)

Bad things for Xbox 360:
-Pay for Xbox Live, even though I heard it's worth it, I still want to play online for free because I'm already paying Comcast too much money. XD
-Yay exclusive "originals" (Halo ect.), now is there any new exclusive games? Well.....Ace Combat 6 is one....

But for me....PS3 wins...XD

i would have to go with the 360 for now, its cheaper and most of the games on the ps3 are also on the 360 and more so i think it has a better selection too

They both suck in features and online service provided by them. PSN is a joke and XBL costs money. I really prefer PC gaming over them, but for some reason I waste my money on a PS3 >_> Oh well.

I would have to go with the Xbox 360 because it has a wider variety of game but the PS3 could come up if it gets more games.

ok after E3 i can finally reply to this thread and say that for now Xbox 360 is pwning the crap out of the ps3, but lets not forget theyve had a whole year ahead of the ps3 to work out bugs and release games... but honestly i think over the next year or 2 the ps3 will more than likely PWN the xbox 360

so basically what im saying is Microsoft may be winning the battle right now But Sony shall win the war!!!!!!!!

PS: overall thought,
i say both systems are really really good and i will be getting me one of them new and improved 80G Ps3s this fall ;D
for now i'll enjoy meh xbox 360

Microsoft > Sony Simply just because of Funding, Microsoft will beable to have a new next gen console out 5-6 years before Sony will beable to.

Umm, that is both retarded and not true.

Take the X Box. Somewhat better from a technical standpoint then the PS2, but it came out more then a year afterwords (March 4 2000 vs November 15 2001).

Now let's take the X Box 360. Somewhat inferior from a technical standpoint to the PS3, but it came out a little less then a year before (November 22 2005 vs. November 11 2006).

So where does this magical 5-6 years come from?
