Hi all!!I've just taken a liking to Prince of tennis' Perfect pair's yaoi stories at fan fic and I just bought some yaoi manga...to be exact...shounen ai...i don't like stories too harsh!XP

Well, I guess you're aware of the difference, so I can recommend some more "hard core" stuff.

Manga-

Haruka Minami - After I Get Drunk On You, Exclusive Love Contract, Junk!Boys, etc. (She is strictly YAOI by the way)

Yamane Ayano - Crimson Spell, Target Through a Viewfinder, Double Face, etc. (Yaoi)

Honami Yukine - Rin! (This one barely has kissing in it)

Fumi Yoshinaga - The Moon and the Sandals, Antique Bakery, Don't Say Anymore Darling, etc. (Yaoi)

Maki Murakami - Gravitation (depends if you watch the anime or read the manga)

Hitoyo Shinozaki - Okane ga Nai (Yaoi)

Kazusa Takeshima - Wild Rock, Inu mo Arukeba, Last Client, etc. (Yaoi)

Kodaka Kazuma - A Sex Therapist, Kizuna, Hana to Ryuu, etc. (Yaoi)

Sorry, I don't know much shounen ai. However, besides Yukine, those are some my favorite manga-ka. Some of Minami's works I couldn't even put the titles of here XD!

The best Yuri themed Anime ever!! ^_^
It's a really cute school comedy that is so cool. I get so sucked into it and am really demanding of who should be with who in it. I really hope certain characters end up with other certain characters. Their are so many love circles and I want a specific few to work out.

The characters are only 14 and just a bit older for the higher year groups. it's still amazing though. Really cute. ^-^

No. I do not recommend this one! Of course, it's up to you if you want to see it, but out of personal recommendation, I thought it was the most boring thing I've seen. It's just a history lesson with the title "shounen-ai" so people will actually watch it. The OVA is the only time you ever see any signs of the main characters relationship, in my opinion.

Don't forget to mention whether it's not shota or not! I'm not trying to mean, or back-seat mod, but I think it just should be. I accidentally watched that, not knowing it was shota ^_^;. If she doesn't like shota, we wouldn't want that to happen. Just in case, you know?

Speaking about Yuri....marimite is one of the quite famous ones right?If I'm not wrong,this anime was on animax and the trailer dosen't give me the least bit of the yuri feel. the english title is"Maria watches over us"and the setting is like in some sort of church of convent. When I watched lucky star,kona mentioned that marimite is yuri. And when I went and checked out the anime, I almost fainted when I saw that it was Maria watches over us! Maria...reminds me of the catholics...sounds really holy....but it turned out to be yuri....actually not really yuri...more shoujo-ai as heard from my friends.

Aww, no SP for you? I love that manga! Had some of the greatest stories ever. Then, if you aren't into anything hardcore, perhaps my recommendations weren't so hot. Let's see... avoid Takeshima, Haruka, Ayano, and Kazuma then. They're pretty hardcore.

Yuri wise... er... the only ones I've seen are Strawberry Panic and Kanazuki no Miko. They were pretty good.

@Numbers: Accidents do happen. I mean, I've been reading scanlations of "Our Kingdom" by Naduki Koujima and didn't realize it was BL until the 3rd volume (and that was my introduction to a whole new world called Yaoi/BL. lol). Some stuff are deceptive though, like from the art the character can look like under age but they're supposed to be in college or whatever. Example would be Okane ga Nai, Ayase looks like he's half the size of everybody else in that series ^^;


@Tsubaki: Perhaps it'll be better if you can be more specific on your level of comfort. Did you mean like you're not comfortable with the sex scenes? Or just not when 90% of the chapter is filled when them? (@Pengin-san: I like Minami's stuff too but you have to admit there aren't a lot of plot in her chapters) But from the previous post, sounds like you prefer the "softer" stuff so here are some of my recommendations that's not too hard core. I don't know if all these titles are licensed/published in English so you might have to find them on the net somewhere.

BL - Gravitation: it's been a while since I've seen it so I don't remember much but I think kissing was the farthest they showed. the OVA series did have one scene that might be "graphic" but it wasn't shown too much.

BL - Gakuen Heaven: based on the game, so there's a lot of boys to choose from ^^

Yuri - Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito: it was okay, but then there aren't that many yuri anime to choose from.

Ok...comfort huh....erm...BL,shounen ai,yaoi,it's all okay...
but Yaoi...I'm actually fine with it,but some of them like the anime Sensitive pornography had like 25 out of 30 minutes filled with those scenes and...it was weird.Ok..but i managed to sit through it though.You guys can just list anything down, I really have no objections about it.

Have you all heard about the takumi kun seires?BL manga
It's quite nice...I think,or maybe some of you will find it boring,as it isn't that much yaoi...just a very small part which isn't really that much.

Ya, Minami's works are a sight to behold...XDDD <-- seriously most are hardcore.

Hmm... I only read hardcore ones, rarely the BL content, and most of the time doujinshis. D:
