This will be my first year going in cosplay, I personally can't wait.

It'll be my first convention, only because I didn't attend AnimeBoston in the spring like I had intended.

I highly recommend that no one leave their hotel after sundown. I'm a local and I have been at LA at sunset. Scary stuff.

I'll be maintaining my tradition of being open-minded to cosplay but not doing it anyway. I've had my spot paid for since last year, I wouldn't miss it for anything.

Really looking forward to seeing you guys again. At least this year I know in advance to start thinking up a character so I can actually play, too. I'm not planning to miss the rest of the convention for it though. =p

Here's a tip. Lon doesn't look over character sheets. Take as many defects as you can.:laugh:

I think you should've gone for Gurren Lagann since this year is THE year to cosplay Gurren Lagann (and also Shokotan is one of the concert guests, she sang the opening).

Anyways, I haven't been at this forum that long so I don't know anyone but I'll be staffing at the ticketing booth so you guys might see me:ninja: if you're going to any of the Main Events.

This was kinda a stupid question to ask since the whole forum has been talking about a good amount of the staff going together. I wish I could go. Sadly I just found out I have a job to commit to for the whole of July. *sigh* I went to AX '06, that was fun. Will do it again sometime.

I believe they held one con in Japan once. I know they also had one in New York.

And I must add, since I will probably quote the good book of Mindshield numerous times through out AX, everyone please bring your mindshield to AX. You can try to use it to protect yourselves from Minako, but it won't work, BUT IT DOES EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

I'll probably go. It's not a definite hundred percent but I'm really leaning in favour of going. If I do go, since I'm taking public transport, I won't be cosplaying anything fancy. I don't want to freak out the other passengers.

it was great to see so many cosplayers! and I've never seen so many driver licenses from so many different states in my life! lol

did anyone see the Digimon cosplayers? they did a dance at the Chibi Masquerade too! (now go watch it on YouTube, lol)
