Figured it would be good to break the groupthink, and ask a probably never before asked question: What tools do you own?

There is two interpretations of that question.
(A) What implements used in the practice of a vocation do you have in your possession?
(B) What gullible fools do you "pwn (http://tool.justgotowned.com/)"?

The topic at hand is (A). Plastic children's tools don't count.

I own:

1 Adjustable wrench.
6 Non-adjustable spanners, open ended and box ended.
A number of screwdrivers, small and relatively large.
1 hammer.
1 plier.
Several knives.
1 multitool.
1 pair of heavy duty scissors.
I'm probably forgetting something.

They are not tools at all (but rather computer peripherals), and yes, terribly off topic.

I currently own way more tools than I care to list, to include hammers, screwdrivers, ratchets, sockets, hand wrenches, knives, axes, shovels, and one really frickin' huge adjustable spanner. it opens up at least a good 8 inches, great for torquing the drug-pusher next door!

I work on a lot of different stuff, so I have tools for a lot of different professions.

Peace,

Let's see, small phillips head screw driver, a small flat head screw driver (I use them for small screws in tiny electronics), a standard claw hammer, an adjustable wrench, a drill (with a variety of bits), nails, screws, hand saw, mallet, box knife, wire cutters, glue gun, and a variety of things needed to run a proper kitchen (ie: hand mixer, variety of spoons, measuring devices, pots, pans, knives, oven, range, juicer, coffee maker, etc).
Some day I shall afford the Kitchen Aid mixer and my life will be complete!
I don't need a bread maker as if I'm inclined to make bread, I'll do it the old-fashion way. Great stress reducer.

A 12 piece screwdriver set
An additional 6 piece little (really little. Like for watches and stuff) screwdriver set.
A claw hammer
Another hammer that I don't know the name for which I use on metal
A wood saw
A metal saw
A number of wrenches sprawled at the bottom of my toolbox
A soldering iron
A variety of watch fixing and making tools that I have no name for but still use.
2 pliers
A longnose
A wirecutter
A standard car toolkit (which I have no idea why I own seeing as how I don't actually have a car.)

Dad's hobby is fixing and making watches and little machinery so he passes these on to me whenever he gets new tools.

I got lots of tools.
For carpentry, I have from a precision screwdriver to a chainsaw.
For cooking, hmm
Lots as well although I don't own anything unecessary.

I'm a carpenter in training, so I have a few tools.

I have: A 25' Self-lock tape measure(my baby :D ).
A 20 oz hammer(my cherry!! :) ).
A stainless steal square(now broken ;_;).
I guess that's all. You could say that I'm not a complete carpenter.

SGI and I have the usual assortment of household-handyman tools: the hammer, the screwdriver, the screws, the nails, some sort of clamp/wrench gadget, and so on and so forth.

My baby is my Forensic Science "grip" kit which will be added to over the years, but now includes assorted linear scales, a tape measurer, blue tack, a spirit leveler, a magnifying glass, small tweezers and scissors, assorted clips, a calculator, a fingerprint duster, a CF card, assorted markers, ball markers, and some white poster board for light-bouncing. Still need to figure out where to find a scalpel around here =/

Gerber Tool

Read that as "Gerbil Tail" not sure why.

I have used many a tool, but do not own any myself. I often wish I had a hammer though, and some screw drivers.

I saw the thread title and thought, Lateralus. I must be going mad.

I used to own a pen tablet, scanner, and a program for drawing comics but I gave them all to an infinitely more talented friend who could put them to far better use.

Here's my general loadout, though I have some specialty electronics and mechanics stuff that isn't used often enough to be considered my regular set.

1. 8" Crescent Wrench
2. Starret 0-1" Micrometer (Accurate to .0005")
3. TI89 Titanium Calculator
4. Screwdriver set
5. Wire cutter
6. Wire stripper
7. Pliers, several varieties
8. Blacksmith's tongs, several varieties of jaw styles and reign lengths.
9. Two Anvils- one 55lb Cast Iron, the other around 70lb wrought steel.
10. Hacksaw
11. Oxy-Acetalyne torch with cutting and brazing heads.
12. DC-stick ARC welder.
13. Angle Grinder
14. Crucible (container for molten metal)
15. Files
16. Drill bit set
17. Pipe Wrench
18. Socket set
19. Pencil
20. Swiss Army Knife

No items 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 20 do not get carried in my toolbox. They're a bit large or heavy for that, but I use them often enough to consider them a part of my main collection.

I do a lot of mechanical work, but also some computer and electronics stuff

I have a wide array of tools stored here at my work area, at my grandfathers and a lot in storage. Too many to list actually. Ranging in size and use.

Well ... let's see here.

Hammer, wrench set, drill set, many manual screw drivers, electric screwdriver set, automotive tool box inc. bolts and lugs and whatnot, tape measure, military multi-tool (Gerber), wire cutters/strippers, self wall mounting laser level .. I am missing a fair deal, but I can't remember. There in my closet and that's ... just too far to move right now.
