At least your first sig sets were better than mine, All you need to do on the first sig is to lower the size and make a second border, other than that keep it up sis!

Very nice works of art! However, I am more of a abstract art type of person. Not much of a plain simple foreground color. Here's some constructive criticism, now looking at your first "banner" which is too big for a signature was the dimension 500x200? At the least? Try 500x122 best dimension for a signature, the foreground color is nice, the brush strokes are good very vibrant eye-catching, try using some darker colors, analogous colors.

Too the right...I don't see the woman's face..That doesn't seem appealing, sorry =( . The middle is great! I can see the whole face, and the body. The eyes..Not so great. Try just extracting one character and placing where you see fit.

Now the avatar, the avatar is perfect for an original A+ on that art-work the text effect is simple, try messing around with text effects. Now the bottom one, is your best one yet. I love the cut-outs, trying to figure that out myself. Lol, keep practicing =) Before you know it, you'll be great at graphic design. Practice makes perfect.

Oh my.
In a years time, you'll get better than me, cause these are hard to get from beginners.

the second one is the one I like, so;
the overall signature would look so damn better if the kanji text is more smoother. (I'm guessing that the kanji has some slight relations to a girl?)

they look really great dear ^^
though its a bit biased since im your boyfriend, but i do think youre doing very well, especially for your first time, i think you're even better than me! if you want any advice or "how tos" just ask me i'll be glad to help

@ Capt Fox McCloud
to make cut outs you have to have a transparent background (white&gray checkered bg) on photoshop and save it as a gif and the black&gray checkered background would be transparent

this is my favourite, My honest thought is that you should look at smoothing pixels. in your images. Other than that I think that they are all splendid.

Unli is right, these are hard to find from a beginner.
These are all great, and the second signature in your first post is really interesting.
Your latest avatar would look better if it didn't have the blur.
This is what you can do.
Use the pen tool and make better curves, then close it and make the selection and delete it.
You'll get used to it, but sooner or later, you are really going to get really good, really fast.
Keep it up. =D

When I say that you need to smooth the pixels I mean, you use the wand tool to delete the BG of the image, or the eraser brush you use is leaving a few out of place pixels in your source image. to fix this, select that image with the wand tool, you can either set the tolerance way up so that it will select all the opec area, or select all the void space then go to select>inverse. then go to select>modify>smooth choose the amount of pixels that works then select>inverse then hit the delete button on your key board. that is one way it is done in PS CS2. it will smooth the outline of the anime character that you are using, then if you want... you can select that image and either drop shadow, or select it with the wand too so that all of it is selected, then create a new layer, select that layer while the dotted out line is still shown, go to select>modify>expand (to what ever works for you) then flood fill it black, then place that layer under it, this will create a nice smooth out line.
now what I think you did was duplicate the layer, and did a Gaussian blur, that is a good tool if the image is real grainy. make a duplicate layer and gaussian, or motion blur it. then take the blurred layer place it above the other one, and pull down the opacity. until it is not blurry, but not grainy. also their is a noise reduction tool, that kinda works. I don't use it. I just impose layer corrections. on one I made I think I used around 40 layers until I got something I liked.
But I still love that sig.
also if you use a PNG file, or BMP (use PNG way better) you can take that simplicity text and extend it over the edge of that rectangle. but the file formate will be larger. but I think it gives a nice pizazz to some sigs.
this is an example of what I am talking about
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k179/demonplight/HelloKitty.png
because it is a .PNG format, the image will support a void area that is transparent. like the area around the heart. if you did that with the simplicity one, the text would reach out beyond the image square.
also use photobucket, and make an account, or some other image hosting. then in bed the image in your post. I say this because anime forum will only allow I think 50 images.
but they are right these sigs kick booty.

Wow, very impressive! ^^ I love the second one, very kahyute! :3 I must say that you improve so quickly within days that it takes me weeks just to get those kinds of sigs. Very great work! Keep it up!

youre improving really quickly soon enough you'll be one of the best. each sig has a good focus and lets your eyes wander but leads back to the focus, your image blends in pretty well, and your borders give the sig a nice finished effect. i cant say there are any flaws very nice dear
